Today would have been my little brothers 49th birthday. At the age of 21 he chose to drink and get behind the wheel of his truck... He never made it home. He not only died as a result of his decision but the two people who were in the vehicle he had a head on crash with were in critical condition for several weeks. Thankfully they eventually recovered. Well I don't quite know how to begin to describe the day that I've had today. First thing today I got news that I'm basically screwed for getting back into the gaming industry unless I want to lie about my practical experience. Although I have 9 years experience doing EXACTLY what I did when I did it as a job...the JOB part is all they seem to pay attention to. So I can't hardly find a job in the games industry...BUT...I had a glimmer of hope until this morning. So I just got back last Sunday from being in Florida for a week. I got a couple of hours of sleep then got up around 7 and put some shoes and shorts on to go wash the car. I found out Wednesday, my great nephew is brain dead. His mother left him with a "supposed" reliable sitter. The sitter left the room, left the baby( a little over a year old) in the tub with another child. When she came back in the room he was under the water! My nephew, the babies father was in Iraq, and is being rushed home. I am crushed! How can a person do such a thing? Why would you leave a baby that small in the tub unattended? Va brought home hubbie. He will be in a lot of pain and discomfort for many months. Slow healing process so he not out of the woods as of yet. All through nursing school, we were taught as nurses that we have to accept everyone, from every culture, every socioeconomic background, every life stage, and every religion...you get the point, all human beings deserve to be cared for, physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. That being said, most nurses are Christian, Baptist, Church of Christ, etc.... I run into problems, because I am not Christian. Nurses believe that behind closed doors with other nurses, it is ok to talk about other's beliefs. Should I keep on smiling and nodding, or should I say something? Yesterday's comment really blew me away. The nurse said she doesn't like it and doesn't feel very comfortable with a patient telling her "I'm Wiccan, I'm a Witch, and I'm the devil." I wanted to say something right then. People still believe that Pagans, and or Wiccans worship the devil? I suppose I could have mummed this, but it's very heart felt and kind of a tender subject to me right now.

An Interesting Morning Visitor
Woke up this morning to some funny sounds next to me and wondered what was my cat, Pumpkin up to now? I sit up and looked to my left at the bedside antique dresser not to see my cat there, but a baby possum staring at me. My 1st Scene!!
Sorry it took me awhile to update you all but things have been crazy. I did my 2nd and 3rd scene and am now debateing on moving to Florida. Ive made some great friends down there from this biz and I think its the next logical step. First- my truck dies again...I had it towed to the shop..waiting to hear the price. Second- I go to the grocery store to grab a few things. IM just fuckin tired now. Well here I am thinking again, like always. I have had a really bad day, I went to go see my kids today and what do ya know, they were not home this weekend. The twins and my oldes were gone. So I sat and talked to my dad for a while to see how they were doing. Saw their report cards and although it was hard to understand them but from the look of things they seemed to be doing really well. I miss them so very much and right now I feel like all I have ever seen is the pictures that they have gotten from school or looking at old pictures of them that I have. Im starting to wonder when Im ever going to see them grow up without the pictures, just me and them and making our own memories. My Dilemma
Sometime this morning between 3 a.m. to 4.30 this morning, my Yorkie, Rocky, died after he got sick last night. Still Scared About My Brain Surgery
i am afarid im gonna die in my brain surgery this next 2 weeks (whenever its scheduled) 24th or 31st. I realize that when they put me under, it may be the last time im alive. I have to go to a phsyical rehab to learn to talk and walk again afterwards (after im discharged from hosp). I will spend 4-5 days in ICU then 4 days or so on the medical floor. My Videos - Wanna Laugh?
I made this little video for my baby and just thought I would share with you how nuts I am...Dang I sure am putting myself out here...bash away, it's all for fun anyway (I surely know I can't make any money at this!)
