A Peom by;Larry ouellete
Roadway passing beneath the floorboards,
at highway speed
Fishtail pipe,s sharp staccato barking out.
Man and machine becomiing free,
As the city,s skyline fades slowly away
like the clouds
Red tail hawks soar majestically overhead,
nature,s beauty slowly unfolds.
tension and worry fade, all that counts
is the road ahead,
Freedom only brothers of the wind ever know.
no music on the radio
only nature,s lovely song.
guiding us on our way.
world conflicts past or present evaporrate
in the tire hum,
rolling on god,s beautiful creationand
man,shighways.
Peoplestare as we pass them by,looking
at all as the dredges of society,
clad in the leathers and boots, patches
decorating us all.
Return thier discontent with a smile
for we are free
one thingthey,llunderstand at all
brothers in the wind,enjoy our
God given lives
enjoying all that surrounds us to the end.
things which mean nothing to them never pass
through thier eyes,
Strenghten us and make us brothers
to the end.
it a sad but true story ,lots of love from all of us in oklahoma and texas-bikers-riders
