Sweet 'n' Sour Meatballs

Rayna's Tears
A boy in Raynas class had his mom die a few days ago. They had a counsler come in and talk to the kids today, and I guess this got Rayna thinking a bit. I let her stay up to watch Where the Heart is with me and she kinda broke down. I don't think she understand just yet what to make of all this. I did best I could to comfort her and stuff. She told me she didn't want to cry. They told her it was ok not to cry and I told her yeah sometimes it is, but sometimes its also alright to cry a little bit. R.i.p. Rocky The Yorkie
Sometime this morning between 3 a.m. to 4.30 this morning, my Yorkie, Rocky, died after he got sick last night. I can't believe it, he was just running around yesterday when I was out in the yard today and now, he's gone. I guess he never did get over losing his "brother", A. J., my long haired chihuahua, after he went missing a couple of months ago. His health has been deteriorating ever since A. J's dissapearance but i thought he was getting better after I acquired my best friend's chihuahua/schnauzer, Squirt, to keep him company. I will miss him, I can't believe in a few short months, I have lost both my dogs...May there indeed be a Heaven for dogs. Goodbye Rocky, may he at last found peace and health with Him.

Crappy.
Today sucks even worse than yesterday sucked, and it's only 6 am. I'm screwed. Pretty much everything hurts. Every time I think something might start to go right, reality sneaks up and smacks me in the face like a wet towel on a butt cheek. I'm tired of being used. I'm tired of representing something to people, why can't I just be what I am without having to perform tricks like a bear in a circus? Why can't people just let me live in peace? And why, for the love of monkeys, can't I stop shaking?

Thursday - Oct. 11th
Another meeting this morning with a Fire Chief and Deputy Sheriff in a small town near here to create a club for possible first responders within the students of their neighboring high school. And then this afternoon I will be meeting with four teachers and the principal of another high school to speak to them about creating another first responder club at their school. Tomorrow I will be meeting with the regional director of Health and Safety with the American Red Cross to encourage their aid in training for these clubs I am creating for the high schools in my county. I believe that this will be a very worthwhile thing for all the schools and for the students too. It could encourage many students to explore the medical field as potential career choices for their future after high school. And then tonight... another late night budget meeting too. Smoking Laws
What does everyone think about the smoking laws in our country and in your neck of the woods? I know where I live in Portage, Indiana, 40 miles east of Chicago, and I work in Valparaiso, Indiana. There is no smoking in bars, clubs, any place that servers food to the public. Where I work for city government, we can not smoke in the veichles even if you are the only person in the damn thing. We have to stand 50 feet away from any door or window, and god forbid qwe get called out to plow snow to some other shit. I for one have not and will not work for 24 hours or more with out a smoke. My Sons Wonderfull News !!!!!!!!!!
Well I have never been as happy ,since my son blessed me with is presence, as I am today . Though I have seen this Red headed , STRONG willed boy through alot of obstacles (2 years of which I couldn't help ). Today was an appointment for a NeuroPsychological Evaluation .We found his NEWEST and IMPROVED IQ is FAR above the score when tested in 05,coming to 70 where it had been 59 which puts him only one small point from having overcome the MR range ! Even better, THERE ARE NO FURTHER INDICATIONS that would in fact keep him "LABELED" in the Autism spectrum . His Occupational and physical therapies are paying off well, cause his motor skills have improved GREATLY !. It is known at this time, that his cognitive delays are due to the infractions sustained by the stokes before and after birth that contribute to his developmental delay 's. ...somewhere between getting out of my car and punching out to leave class, I lost my damn keys today. Let me just tell you how stressed and crazed I was. Not only because I lost my keys but because of the horrid neighborhood I would have to leave my car in. My school's in the ghetto and cars are constantly getting broken into. So I was flippin the hell out. I searched and searched. Tore my bags apart, looked in cabinets...even the damn trash cans. Friends offered to take me home but I didn't wanna leave my car! Finally, the security guard walked by and I asked him if anyone had turned in some keys? He said "What do they look like?" I described them and before I could finish, took them out of his pocket! Well Earned Break
Work has been particularly intense these past few months and time has just flown by with no real personal time to speak of. This kind of pressure is fine over short periods of time but persistent over this long takes it out of just about anybody. So at last I am about to take my first real holiday for some years and have chosen a nice villa in Crete with my own private pool to do it. The place has little or no mobile signal and is not far from the longest gorge in Europe. I am going to be taking some much needed down time and recharge my batteries. While I am away my company is having a re-organisation so I am hoping that they will have managed to do what they promised to ease my workload. So we will see if a rest can help out in more ways than one

Trip To Prague
Next week or on the morning of 18th of october me and the company i work at will be flying to Prague and this will be a 4 day trip. Time Flies When You're Having Fun!
Wow, time flies when you're having fun! I just realized that September 7th was my 1 year anniversary on this site and endured it's many "growing pains". Done And Done
I think it might be time to close my page.... not sure if I will or not yet, but I am not happy comming on here any more. Dont get me wrong, there are a few who are absolutly wonderful but it is just a few. AND... since one of the main reasons I was on here is gone, I just dont know. I was riding to work yesterday when I observed a female driver, who cut right in front of a pickup truck, causing the driver to drive onto the shoulder to avoid hitting her. This evidently angered the driver enough that he hung his arm out his window and gave the woman the finger. 'Man, that guy is stupid,' I thought to myself. I ALWAYS smile nicely and wave in a sheepish manner whenever a female does anything to me in traffic, and here's why: I drive 48 miles each way every day to work. That's 96 miles each day. Of these, 16 miles each way is bumper-to-bumper. Most of the bumper-to-bumper is on an 8 lane highway. There are 7 cars every 40 feet for 32 miles. That works out to 982 cars every mile, or 31,424 cars. Even though the rest of the 32 miles is not bumper-to-bumper, I figure I pass at least another 4,000 cars. My Kids went to stay with their grandparents for the Setember school holidays. My ex took them down for me, I was working. Imagine my surprise when I was pulled over by the highway patrol today and asked why i was driving an unregistered motor vehicle. I was polite at first, pointing to vehicle rego sticker saying December 2007. Got a little pissy when he tried to tell me that my car was unregistered. Entered a whole new level of pissed off, even for me, when after arguing and him doing checks to find that my car was given a minor defect (faulty indicator light) which had 30 days to repair and present for inspection. Fubar Is Fubar
So my fubars been messed up for a week or two now. It tells me when people rate my pics, but it never puts rates on them. I Still Feel The Need To Bitch
I had a fucking night terror last night, much worse than a nightmare, followed by the fucking dry heaves. I had fucking lucid dreams all night after the dry heaves. There are so many things that all of us can do to help try to get a handle on this horrible problem. The Fault Line
Last night my 13 year old daughter went with her chorus group to see "The Fault Line", an a cappella group. The show opened with the lights dimming and a large screen lighting up. There were clips playing and narration explaining their appearance on "America's Got Talent", then it showed their performance. My daughter said she was a bit disappointed by this until the screen faded and lights came up on stage and she realized the music she was hearing was coming from the 4 guys standing there. Four men ~ no instruments. She was amazed, never before had she heard such sounds without instruments. One guy did all the bass sounds, it sounded just like a real bass beat. Another was the percussion section. They sang many songs old and new. "Rock around the Clock" was one and the tune from Beetlejuice was another. Randy's Retirement
So for the second time, Randy Couture has retired, and unlike the last time, it has nothing to with age or his ability to compete, because he's proven to everyone that he is that GOOD. This time its all because of Fedor ducking Randy, choosing to go to a much smaller and lamer M-1 organization instead of step into the UFC and fight the only person who poses a threat to his status as the best. Fedor knows Randy wants to fight him, and instead of step up and go for it he chooses to wait it out until Randy isn't on such a roll and is a few years older, and possibly not able to fight him. No matter though, Randy showed everyone that he is a true competitor and that he is the MAN. So until he comes out of retirement again, or even if he never does, the final image of him in the ring will always be a champion, which is completely fitting.

It's Fall Harvest time. And you know what that means. Lot's of yummy desserts are about to be made :) Halloween Cookie Pizza 3/4 cup Light brown sugar 1/2 cup Butter flavored shortening 1 Egg 1 tablespoon Water 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups Flour 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon Salt 1 cup Peanut butter chips 1 cup Miniature marshmallows 1/2 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/2 cup Pecans, chopped Chocolate Drizzle: 1/4 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 1/2 tablespoons Butter-flavored shortening Orange Drizzle: 1/2 cup Powdered sugar 1 tablespoon Water 3 drops Yellow food coloring 2 drops Red food coloring Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Job
What else happen this summer? I lost my job. I believe where I worked at were afraid my ex was going to come there and threaten me. This a a big security issue for patients. I just started this job in March of this year and only worked 6 months. I learned alot and loved my job. I made some friends. I didn't understand and still don't. I had doctors stick up for me and have great letters of recommendations. I am on unemployment until I can find another job.

Beating The Dead Horse...
Ok, I need to fucking rant.. This should be fun and no animals will be hurt in the process. My soon-to-be ex hubby is upstairs in my house, washing his girlfriend off him in my shower!!! Ugh! I Screwed Up
My girlfriend and I have been fighting all weekend because I am emotionally closed off and won't let her or her daughter in. I've been trying but it's not easy. I've spent most of my life being a loner. That makes it very hard to let others in. But, as of late she sees me getting worse. I didn't even realize I was pulling away from her and wasn't doing it intentionally, but it may be too late. Her patience with me is gone.I think I may have fucked up the best relationship I've ever had because I just can't seem to let people get close enough. And it hurts like hell surprisingly. We Have Hired Our First Person
we have hired our first employee today and ihope it is the first of many. im so excited that thingsare starting to hopefully get better for me and what makes it even better is that it is near christmas and our job offer is helping a dad put christmas presents under the tree and make an unemployed man and his family happy.

Happy Hour
Why is it that most of the people who host the Happy Hour never return your rate and fan even though they say they are even when they accept the fan request? Are they that hard up to be the best on Fubar that they don't care about anyone else? I wish there was a way to take back a rate like, remove rate like you can remove a friend/family or fan. Buffalo Chicken Salad
2 hearts romaine lettuce, chopped 1 cup shredded carrots, available in pouches 2 ribs celery with greens, chopped 1/2 cup ranch dressing 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles 1 package, 3/4 to 1 pound, chicken tenders, cut into bite size pieces 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 1 turn of the pan 2 tablespoons butter Salt and black pepper 1/4 cup hot sauce Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat. Combine lettuce, carrots and celery in a salad bowl. Combine ranch dressing and blue cheese crumbles in a small bowl. Add oil and butter to hot pan with the chicken. Season with salt and pepper and sear for 2 or 3 minutes, then add hot sauce. Reduce heat a little and cook 5 minutes more. Toss salad with dressing and season with salt and pepper. Top salad with Buffalo chicken and serve.

Recently, me and my kids found a cat with 7 kittens and even though we knew we couldn't take that much on we began to feed them..of course now, they won't leave lol...Unfortunately, there are only 5 kittens left- 2 died early on...they are adorable though..they live under our back porch and under the house- the manage to find a way under there to keep warm..It's a ritual every day for us to go in the morning before school and feed them and after school...my youngest son who is autistic will talk to them, it's soo cute..he opens up and says alot ...it makes him in better spirits when he has had a rough day...
