Anew Year!
Well I havent been around in seems like years! Not sure how many of you will read this since I havent been around to keep in touch with anyone, but I do hope that you all are doin great! I miss ya's and even though I dont get online like I use to I will make an effort to get on at least everyday while the kids are at school. I hope yall had a wonderful New Years! Mine was pretty good, spent it with the hubby and my cousin and her boyfriend. I do hope yall can forgive me for not bein around, if not then not sure what else to tell ya other then im sorry for not bein able to get online to play. I started to babysit again, and my son is involved it Scouts, and in Basketball. My daughter is in gymnastics. So needless to say I do keep myself very busy everyday of the week. Okay... so... I've had a ton of drama on here since I started, so let's begin shall we? First off I started DJing at Darkmoon Radio, got all setup and everything until (I wont mention names since it's the "polite" thing to do) I was DJing one night and it started to buffer on me, im sure anyone who has DJed has experienced this problem. This is from the server not getting the streaming data fast enough to keep up, also happens if a server is set at a certain bit rate and you have yours set to high. ANYWAYS! I had my bit rate set at 96kb/s 44.1khz, and the server had a max of 56kb/s, and so the server got suspended for 24 hrs. Now, I got blamed for putting the bit rate to high when I was TOLD to set it at 96kb/s.. some adults cant man up and admit they made the mistake. Sad. My 2nd problem here is I met someone who I will mention there name here, TheVoice a.k.a. Where Am I?
So I signed up for this site, Fubar.com. Although the 'point' of site still eludes me it has virtual beer and virtual drunkenness, so it must be good, right? Fubar Reality
So I created my account on here in October but didn't get active until December. And I got active with vigor. I did what alot of people do when they first get on here. I looked and rated as many pics as I could, rated the blogs and stash, and blinged, fanned, friend'd, gifted and so on like a madman. And it was fruitful in relationship to the motivation. To enjoy what the site has to offer for someone looking to get into trouble and level. Then I did, what I expect alot of people do as well. I started to come to the realization that much of this is faux. And if you take it seriously, then you are headed for dramatic results. And I got them. As a result my reaction to the praise, the rank, and the "love" began to morph into disgust and a general feeling of distrust. Which is not me. I trust and I prefer that approach. I remember watching and rooting for Lou Blaney almost every weekend that my dad took me to the track. He was the inspiration that got me interested in dirt track racing. I watched so many times as he won the featured event. As a kid I watched his red number 10 drive around the track like it was on a rail. Often I got pissed that his rival would beat on him and go on to win the race. But when he wasnt racing, he was being a husband, a father, and a grandparent. Why Does It Have To Happen?
I don't know why this always happens but it does. you meet someone and things go great for awhile. Then all of the sudden the have family to be with, friends they have been neglecting, and then the big kicker - they are married. I am either the luckiest or unluckiest man alive. Enjoying a day like today where its around 60 and the sun is out is pretty easy. Even with my mild tastes of depression and being around negativity I felt pretty good. Ok today i'll talk about what goes through my mind as I walk through a crowded market..... First some background---We were sent out to patrol a market in this village. It has been the site of numerous attacks on both American forces and Iraqi forces. Last week alone there were 3 attacks on U.S forces out of this market with one of the attacks resulting in serious casualties. So our patrol was to go into this area to look for and possibly catch any of the names that are on our targeted list. It's really been a rough road for me since May 28, 2004 the day I graduated high school. There I was working at a fast food joint called Zaxby's (a fast food chicken joint started in Athens GA.) Ok, so I just recently moved to the East Coast for work and haven't been here long though this is something I have thought about for a bit. But what if the US capitol, meaning the president and his folks kinda rotated around the US. Say he has an office in like Kansas and another in California. James
My best friend James Robert, is such a good man. I can honestly say that no one in this town hated that man. Everyone loves James, even me. I have only known this man for 3 years, but in this short period of time we had a blast. James is the world's best cook, he can make you anything you want and make it delicious. James has a million of friends, and two great daughters. He did anything and everything you can think of. His favorite was getting drunk and playing poker! He actually is the one who taught me how to play poker, and the first game we played at the bar I won. It rocked! On Monday 2/16/09 we played our last game of Yuker, and I lost with my friend Hope. It's all good though. The next day James ended up in the hospital, he said he had a really bad headache. So his friends drove him to the hospital and his blood pressure was 240/180. This morning on the walk home from work, I decided to do something different. Against my best judgment and all reason, I decided to stop by Starbuck's for a cup of coffee. I am sure by the time I'm finished with this fucking blog it'll be the 26th. I thought I'd bitch some before I went to bed to get some stuff off my chest. End of the Stand Off 11:30pm As the tear gas was getting ready to be deployed, a phone call was made. A man, name still unknown, was barricaded inside his home. Scams And Cons
Okay so I know I posted a status up last night saying I got a new job right? Well to set things straight no I didn't have a job. Turns out it was just free volunteer training after the second interview when I arrive there at ten-o'-clock this morning. Okay so here's what happened I went by this place call Advance Associates Inc. a Kirby vaccum cleaner distributor. I applied for a postion where I didn't want to go door to door but intead book appointments by phone for the salesmen to arrive at customers houses. They told me both in the interview and in orientation that we'd (the applicants) would be paid $475-$500 weekly and even with zero sales on a single unit. Sounds too good to be true doesn't it? Yeah well guess what its a false advertisment. After talking to a friend who formally sold Kirbys I was told that there was no such thing as that he was guaranteed being paid on one week then straight commission after that.
