if anyone knows me at all , the would know that i'm one of the most over analytical people that they have ever met. looking over the pros and cons
of every situation, constantly looking for any and all outcomes for any one situation etc... nostradomeous made it seem like child's play the way he leisurely came up with predictions . but they were generally open ended and
open to interpretation. sure , he got a few names wrong. hister( hitler) being one of them , yet he managed to get most of his story correct. everything comes and goes in cycles. reasons for conquest never change but the people ,places and things usualy do. the end only has two outcomes. win or lose. there is no room for horseshoes and handgrenades here.
you never hear the defeated of serious situations say things like " damn, my nigga! i was this close!" obviously because there was an objective in mind and that objective wasn't reached. after all the planning, the hrs, the execution ,timing, the true need, want and desire to accomplish something that was within their grasp... all totally ripped from them because their opponent was better trained. or had better leadership, or perhaps they just made sure that maybe they were better all around instead of over specializing in one aspect of the fight. " over specialize and you breed in weekness."-The major from the movie Ghost in the Shell. perhaps the losing side thought they were ready and went in to battle head long against a for that was just the opposite. i have always heard that you should train harder for the fight than the actual battle because it makes the battle go more smoothly.
mental preparedness is the cornerstone of all battles. free your mind and your ass will follow. but you must also be weary of false confidence and hope. things just don't come to you . you must work for it one way or another. some get it easier than others but that's a different topic all together.
