My Mom
So I have some good news. My mom can finally eat soup! lol yeah its not much but its something. She is getting a little energy back. She starts the IV treatments on monday. She also has to get tested for TB (I dunno why). Not much else new. She is still weak and tired most of the time...but its been a good couple of days. She has been able to get out of the house now. After a while to look around, it appears that Fubar is an online meat market more than a social anything, but that's not all bad. The younger folks need a place to market their wares and attract partners of whatever level they have an interest toward. Reality tv has its fans and critics and has since shows like 'Survivor' has made it prime time entertainment. It is all very similar no matter what show it is, a group of fairly diverse people are put into some sort of odd circumstance and feuds and friendships develop and drama ensues. This is all well and good as long as people keep paying attention. The thing that caught my attention as I am a reality tv watcher on occasion is how well it captures some aspects of our culture. Well my friends it is that time of the year again, time for Holiday stress, holiday shopping and all of the good and bad things that the holidays bring upon us. It’s a time where seemingly every year that you always remember things that happen during the holidays, making for a lifetime of memories. In Fubar World, it’s pretty much the same. Went to the doctor today. Good news is I don't have prostate cancer but I do have a prostate infection, a torn muscle in my back and a hernia which I will need an operation to repair. No wonder I feel like crap If you love someone for a day, week, month or year and then lose interest. You are in lust, not love...If someone looks different, gains/loses weight or has an accident/surgery and it changes their psychical appearance and you are no longer attracted, you were trapped in lust, not love.
