Why Does It Have To Have A Name
I had an experience today that was completely infuriating. Let me start with this bit of information. My dad actively drag raced until I was about 5, and until my parents divorced, I had never seen the inside of an auto repair shop for anything other than to bring my dad lunch. My favorite toys as a child were my dads wrenches and various other tools. I can check all the fluids in my car, change a flat tire, change the brake pads, and change my own oil, if I so choose. And for those who know me, the problem with me checking my oil is that I forget, not that I don't know how. Today however I knew my oil was a little low so I stopped at the store, bought a quart, and added it. That's where things got bad. I get funny looks from men while I was buying the oil. Then I get to the car and I was having trouble finding the hood latch. I forgot it was off centered, like I always do and since I was standing on an elivated sidewalk it I was having trouble reaching as low as I needed too

Leaving Fubar For A Bit
It's time. Time to leave my precious cave here in ol' Kentucky and move back up north to Indiana. With the advent of the birth of my second granddaughter, there can be no better time. In addition, it's getting more and more difficult for my sons to make the 7 hour journey, especially with babies on board. Katie had her tonsils and adenoids removed September 18, 2008 and complications arose that caused Katie to develop a large amount of pulmonary embolyisms (blood clots in her lungs) which were not detected by ultrasounds and an MRI. Okay so yesterday I learned the *hard* way not to let anyone thats not a doctor or chiro touch my back. I had a friend that popped my back in May and it was awesome, so I had him come over and do it again yesterday. NOT SO AWESOME. By 6pm last night the pain was setting in, by 9pm excruciating describes the way I was feeling. Now mind you, I was having pain from the nape of my neck down to my tail bone, radiating over into my shoulder. I can't sit in one position long, cant move certain ways, including taking a drink leaning back, I had to grab a straw. I tried finding a ride to ER last night and failed. This morning my sister dropped me off there. The check in nurse when she seen my back said OMG! Then from there I became a freak show or so it seemed. They started off with giving me a vicodin (which generally I love vic's) but it didnt even begin to touch the pain. Ok this has been a very exciting past 2 weeks. Concerts
This was one hell of a night. My friend Heather and her daughter came over and we took a cab to the Metro Centre. we got down there and those damn cabs are so small that i almost fell and didn't make it in my chair. We saw a bunch of picketers who were anti Motley Crue because of the Devil stuff that the band associates it songs with. We had to wait in line they opened the doors at 5:30 and we had to check our bags for weapons and other things. They would not allow cameras in there which sucked. Hi Everyone, First, thank you so much for everyone who has visited my page and have kept Angel in your prayers. The thoughts, and prayers mean a lot to us. Sadly, I must report to you all that today we are making the decision to take him off the respirator. The EEG shows no sign of any brain activity and nil for a chance of survival. I want you all to know that I myself am at peace with this decision as much as I would love to keep Angel here with us, he was always such a good kid. I guess its true what they say, "Only the good die young!" It has been very disheartening to endure these last few days to say the least. I am quite tired and emotionally drained as you can well enough imagine. Having working in the ICU I have seen miracles happen, but unfortunately, I only allowed my family to maintain hope for a miracle, but it hasn't come and I am not certain it will. I will miss my Angel; but, I will always have an Angel to watch over me and my family as our days continue.

ive been here since nov 12 2008 i got the call on nov 10th saying that my gramps isnt doing so well it was almost 2 yrs ago that he had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer...he started chemo at the end of april 07 and just a few months ago stop treatments all together because it was 2 weeks of chemo 2 months or more without it to allow his blood cell count to rebuild...it was entirely to much for him and for all of us around him, he felt, to go thru anymore...hence why he opted to stop the treatments.....now his time is drawing to an end..funeral arrangements are being made..the nice clasic silver military type casket is picked out for him...a new uniform has been gotten for our Sgt. Maj. to be buried in as he has earned the full military funeral serving in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars But his hardest job that he ever had to do ever in the service was Letting family members know that their loved ones were MIA or Killed in Action and werent coming home....I am proud to have him as

So I went to her house and all was cool so I thought we were still ok then a few hours later I get a letter in the mail... yup it was a breakup letter. So it's official, I'm single again... Doing Things You Know Is Wrong
Men I know that I had said that I wanted a man to finely love me for who I am. For the first time I had thought that I had found him. Whats Been Going On With Me Lately??
Just want to take a few minutes to fill my friends and family in on whats been going on with me lately. Some may have noticed I seem to be "absent" or you dont see me around much. Well, there has been alot going on. It all started with a simple Dr appt to renew my med prescriptions. I was referred to a dermatologist who did a biopsy of the spot (divot/dip) on my nose. It came back positive for basal cell skin cancer. That Dr referred me to a Dr at the Skin Cancer Clinic in Longview that does a special procedure that minimizes the tissue lost when the cancer is removed. That appointment was very difficult for me as the real extent of my situation came to light. I could lose a large part of my nose depending on how large and how deep it is. That wont be known until they get in there and remove it. At that point another Dr may be called in to do the reconstruction. I just returned home from an appt with him and he was able to answer alot of questions I had. Some have asked why xray

A few years ago, I met a fabulous man. He was a man that I was drawn to immediately. He made me laugh, made me smile and we generally got along quite well. Sitting at home after work one day, John heard a knock at the door. Shortly after hearing it he got up from his easy chair to answer the door.
