New (old) Stuff
I recently bought a Maestro Echoplex tape delay unit from the early seventies, these things can be heard in action on older jamaican reggae songs, they used to run everything through these things, drums, guitars, vocals etc.. I also bought a Gibson Minuteman guitar amplifier from the sixties, its a Fender Pro Reverb copy and it sounds pretty damm good, they sure werent skimping on expensive components when they built this thing, it has an alnico speaker and tube driven reverb and tremelo, good shit! I love old gear, if its kept in good working condition it will sound much better than anything made today.

Mmmmmm Chocolate
I was part of a "swap" this month, where I was given the name and some info about a person in an online community I am part of; then I put together a package for them and mailed it off... Then someone else was given the same info about me. Well I just received my package today, and in this package was some wonderful yarn (that I will use to make myself a shawl) and two different kinds of CHOCOLATE by Max Brenner. I have only tried the one chocolate so far, and while I am not a huge fan of dark chocolate (which this is) it is absolutely DIVINE! wow, so yummy! The other chocolate is in a tin, and just opening the tin allows the aroma of the chocolate that it contains waft out, mmmmmmmmmm.... I can't wait to get started on the shawl and the other chocolates!!!

I see mumms all the time about age difference in couples. I don't honestly see where there would be issues,if you both have things in common with one another. Isn't that what it is all about? How do you have a relationship with anyone if you don't enjoy some of the same things. I don't tend to look at someones age,unless they are alot younger than me. I am not someone that wants anymore children,so that would be an issue with dating someone much,much younger than myself. I guess I just don't see what the big deal is with the age thing. they took the vent tube out of mom yesterday and she is breathing well on her own and is already asking to come home.she is still real weak from the sedatives they had her on so she will more than likely be in for at least a few more days to get strong again and be able to take care of herself and what not. will post more later

Muffins 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/3 cup sugar 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 beaten egg 3/4 cup milk 1/4 cup cooking oil Grease 12 2 1/2 inch muffin cups or line with paper bake cups; set aside. Family Update
Okay made it to class Monday.. talked to my instructors about what happen and all that plus went to finacal aide to see about the new pell grants I got to make sure that it was going to cover my schooling. Ya was kinda hopen that I could draw money on one of them to help pay bills but they all are tied to the tuition which is okay with me cause then I don't have to worry about monthly payments to the school. Which by the way so far my mid-term grade is an A for the class and a B+ on exams. As for hubbie, very weak still and gets dizzy really easy, which to a point is expected. He is going to be very limited on what he can and can not do that for sure till he gets his strength back. As for me, ya I finally broke down last nite while he was holding me. I still cry off and on but that normal for me any ways. Now just have to figure out what next. Money is will none right now and tryen to figure out shit is really getting to me. **these are older blog posts, but putting them up for those who aren't already aware of what's been happening** Ok, just got home from the orthopedic specialist. Once again, I have managed to stump the drs. Dr isn’t sure why it’s a problem, BUT apparently the tendons in my shoulder have all stretched out and that’s why my arm keeps falling out of socket. Dr doesn’t want to do surgery at this point because the cons outweigh the pros. At this point, I am going to have to start physical therapy twice a week for at least 4 weeks and go from there. Hopefully, this will help. Dr is hoping that the PT will strengthen the muscles enough to compensate for the stretched out tendons. Wish me luck, because I REALLY REALLY don’t want to have surgery! I’ll keep you all updated on everything. Thanks for all your support.

My son Brandon who is 11 yrs old was entereted in an art contest back in December...they had 700 entries from local kids from schools here in town, out of that they chose 100 to be on an art disply at the college, ok out of those they c ONE to be Best of Show...who do you think that was??? Thats right...MY BOY!!! He won $250 which he used to get him a Nintendo DS & some games. He was honored at a big fancy dinner yesterday and they auctioned his painting off & it got $250! Hospital Update
Chelsea had her surgery tonight, and is doing just great. She had to wait all day long without eating anything because she wasn't an emergency case and they finally took her in after 7. It wasn't long and she was done, the surgeon said it went perfectly. He said the stone was never going to move on its own so it was a good thing they did surgery. He said they were able to go in and grab it without any trouble at all, they got it whole and didn't have to do anything else. They'll analyze the stone but he said it's likely just from her not drinking enough water, which is what we'd figured. So all's good with her, she'll be home tomorrow. They took my friend off the oxygen today because she didn't need it anymore, but she's still in the enhanced care unit. She may be in the hospital for a couple more weeks even, but at least she's healing and getting stronger. She was a bit feistier today so I think she's starting to feel better. IDIOT SIGHTING: We had to have the garage door repaired. The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did not have a 'large'enough motor on the opener. Let me start off by introducing myself. My name is Gary Baldwin. Right now I am living in Genoa West Virginia. Chances are you've never heard of it. Tragedy Opened Doors To Change
Its been almost 2 years since my husband got robbed and shot. The memory of that day is as fresh as if it happened yesterday.I have to say that day I lost respect and faith on Albuquerque Police Department. Everything about that day was unbelievable. The physical symptoms from her concussion seem to be disappearing, but she is sedated, so its hard to tell whether the improvement is based on actual health or the meds. So it's happened..I am officially a grandmother. My granddaughter is so beautiful and perfect!! I drove down while my daughter was in labor, she had Cloey while i was driving. I was in Wal-Mart buying a large bag of Purina for my Labrador Retriever and was in line to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog. On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time --- but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry & that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again. I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was by now enthralled with my story, particularly a tall guy behind her. Horrified, she asked if I'd been poisoned and was that why I was in the hospital. I told her no; I'd been sitting in the street licking my balls and a car hit me.
