It’s been awhile since I tried to fill up one of these barren fields of white. It was a nice Sunday. Went for breakfast with the family and then had a quiet kind of do nothing rainy day on my hands. I just finished this novel a little while ago. I wish it had been longer. I think that's the best compliment I can give to a novel. I wanted more, because the characters and the world they inhabit became something special to me. I've liked Neil Gaiman's work for a while now, having read his Sandman comics as well as other work he's done in the comic medium. This was the first full novel of his that I've read (not counting Good Omens with Terry Pratchett) and he is even more amazing than I already thought he was. Work Too Big
I try to call in sick to day at work. I was transfer 3 times. The teacher in room 4 was rude. I ask her to transfer me to the Office Manger. She told me know & hang -up on me. The school told us to call ahead of time if were going to be out & give the Office Manger the sub. information. Luckly the school district has a computer system that let's you do it. In the old school, I had no problem. I would call in sick & the Office Manger would tell me teacher. Firstly, this site has more errors than myspace. At least they save everything and can allow more features. Ok so this is my first blog! Not sure how to make these thing interesting for the readers but here goes. It has occurred to me recently that although my life is in a bit of financial hardship that I really have it pretty good outside of being broke constantly. As I sit here listening to my little girls teaching each other about Jesus a sense of comfort, joy, and excitement rises inside me. I have had more than a few people ask me why it is that I am so honest and talk about myself. I've been growing a beard for some time now, I was going to shave it earlier this month but I thought: "It's October, I'll keep it for my costume." I figured it was time for an update. LOL. Last time I wrote it was under so much happier circumstances. Joshua is growing like the boy he is. At last weigh in he was up to 9 lbs and 3 ozs. About The Night Darrell Abbott Was Killed

A Teaser Of A New Story

I'm starting to realise more and more everyday that I proably have some of the most obsessive friends ever. Now maybe its just me but take a look at this from my stand point for a moment. Tommorrow me and AJ make a trip to the Cardiologist at 8:30 AM. They told us at the last appointment that they wanted to do her next surgery when she made it to 15 Kilograms. Well, she's there. So they're going to schedule her Heart Catheterization, and within a month of that the surgery will need to take place. What she's getting is the Fontan Procedure, which is the third stage of the Norwood. For those of you who don't know, Aurora has Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. WELCOME HOME MARIA!!! Maria went home on Friday and is doing well. She has her NG tube still in place to ensure that she gets the calories she needs for now. She has been doing very well taking the bottle, so I expect that the tube will come out in the next week or so. She has a visiting nurse coming twice a week to check on her progress. Maria was able to attend a cookout at her Grandpa Jeff's on Mother's day. Robin got her first Mother's day gifts yesterday! The visiting nurse came to Grandpa Jeff's while we were there and she says that Maria is looking good. Maria took an entire bottle while the nurse was there also. The nurse will come to visit again on Thursday and Maria has a doctor check-up on Wednesday. They will be watching her closely, and sometime within the next 6 months, she will have the second surgical procedure. We appreciate all the support from our family and friends and will continue to keep everyone posted on her progress here at CarePages.
