Just this past month,I lost my 1st born nephew.He died two days before he was to turn 16 yrs old.I buried my nephew on dec. 13th, 2008.His birthday was dec. 12th.He died on dec. 9th.He was loved very dearly by his family and friends.We will miss him so.It was the hardest thing I had to do.He was so young and had his whole life ahead of him.He died from a blood vessel that exploded in his brain.He will be forever remembered as a bright young man.R.I.P. Metroid Wars Rpg.. Help Needed!
what i'm trying to do is make this old text based strategy rpg into something that can be played without all the typing in it, bc it use to be u would have to type up an entire page, and save it in notepad, wordpad.. etc my problem is that this project of mine is alil to large for me to do, i need to build a website, the rp itself on the website, i need to build the rest of the rp, i need to do bunches of hand drawn graphics for the site and the rp, then i gotta do the coding for the rp so everything works properly, like the damage system, all the timers.. etc so much i gotta work on lol, i see why there are teams of guys to make a video game or rp... so any help would be greatly appreciated, like web designers or anything like that maybe if i can get all the kinks worked out and get this thing working i might be able to go to Retro Studios the producers of the Metroid Prime Series and see if i could get it made into a video game and get some money.

How Stupid Are Some People?
I have 3 dogs & I was buying a large bag of Winalot in Tesco and was standing in the queue at the till. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog.On impulse, I told her that no, I was starting The Winalot Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. It is a decent book for that age group, but the story lacks a lot and is rather slow moving at points. The novel is about Doon and Lina and their city. Doon and Lina are both twelve years old and in Ember all kids at age twelve are assigned a job. The novel talks about their jobs, their city and the problems they and the city encounter. The city was only supposed to exist for about 220 years, but the instructions to get out were not passed down as they should have been so no one is aware of this. This city is a city of darkness, no sunlight, with street lamps being the only source of light. The characters lack any real depth until the last three chapters. They are not well developed. So one year ago one of the worst days of my life happened. I lost 5 of my friends. They died hero's and anyone that says anything bad about our soldiers better run cause i will beat your asses. They gave their lives protecting the civilians of Iraq who show everyday how much they appriacaite our soldiers being there. Okey... If you wondered how I got the terrific burn and awesome scars, let me relate. This is what the machines I operate look like. In July of 2004, we were performing a weekend shutdown. One of the tasks is to scrape clean a fume hood located near the front. It is something we'd all done a million times. As I was scraping away, my shirt came in contact with a pilot flame and ignited. Cotton burns. Like paper. I ended up with 2nd and 3rd degree burns over 70% of my back. Yeah, owie. The hospital sent me to the Burn Unit at the University of Michigan Hospital, where it was determined I would need skin grafts. That's not really a fun thing. When you hear that burns are the worst type of injury, believe it. The worst part was debridment, the removal of the dead skin. On a scale of 1-10, the pain was 194. It was a 9 month recovery. I couldn't be near any heat sources, and to this day, have to keep the grafted skin out of the sun. So much for mowing the lawn shirtle

My Pet Peeve
Being an Army Veteran and proud of the fact, it gives me great pride when I see other people take pride in their country in dispalying our Flag. It does however sadden me that many of these people do not know the proper way to display the flag and in doing so inproperly it is a disgrace. It has become one of my biggest pet peeves. I have even gone so far as in my hometown to knock on one of the city councilmen's door and ask him if he could not afford a new flag since the one he was displaying was torn to shreds. I see many people having their picture taken in front of flag, trying to show they are patriotic ( and I applaud them for the effort) but the flag will be backwards, and this in intself irks me. Today was my first day .. Update On Plasma And Sick

Wow 2008 has been a bad year for me. I sure hope 2009 goes better. My son has had Crohns disease really bad the entire year of 08' since then he had surgery. Is It Worth It?
I'm 26 yrs old and a single mom of three great kids. I'm really starting to wounder if finding the right person is worth anything at all. Saying Goodbye To Someone You Love
A few months ago I said good-bye to my best friend that I could have counted on for so many years. She was someone who could finish my sentences, laugh at the most dumbest jokes, we could talk for hours on end. I think about all the smiles I worn when I was with her, but my smiles have now turned into a frown. My best friend was my Aunt, she passed away from cancer. I Feel Good. (kinda Diary Of My Dieting)
Well past year or so I have packed on weight..that I didn't want to do. 10yrs ago after my oldest boy..I did weight watchers..and lost 50lbs. I have tried few times on and off to go back into dieting but just not been motivated enough like back then. Anyways..thursday I went back to a weight watchers meeting and joined again. Health And Wellness
For those of my friends that are in the know and to refresh your memory; I had an accident 4yrs. ago and again last August that pretty much trashed my back. Since that time, I have been in agony, the pain is indescribable. I have seen doctors, orthopaedic surgeons and physical therapists since last August. To bring you all up to date, I have had shots in my back, finished my physical therapy, etc. My blood test results are normal and I'm a very healthy person despite being a broken down old man...lol. As long as I follow certain guidelines, I will be able to push back any surgery by at least 10-15 yrs. So, all in all, I'm doing pretty good so long as I don't over do it. Thx to all that have given me their concerns.....

Letting Go But Not Forgetting
Due to events in my life in the last few years I have taken a long hard look at things. One of the things that I have been pondering is the statement I have heard from more than a few people giving me advice. That statement is "You have got to forget your past and move on...or You have to let go of your past and move on." Here is what I have concluded about those two statements. You basically have three options with those two statements (that many people do not see being different from one another). First, you can forget your past. Second, you can let go of your past. And finally you can say that you choose to let go of and forget your past. The first and third option basically say that to move on you have to forget all that happened. I don't agree with this.
