I feel like I should explain my status blurb left last evening (title of this blog).
Several of you had expressed your concerns for my well-being, which I sincerely appreciate and hold you DEARLY for it.
So...who IS Tim Geithner? Well, Obama has chosen him to be in control over the IRS, for one thing. Mr. Geithner, it appears, had not paid his employment taxes for SEVERAL years!...Hmm, he claims he didn't KNOW he owed tax? He used Turbo tax to do his return?? Well, I am told that Turbo Tax prompts the user about his income and if it is taxable. Anyone who wishes to go into business himself and become "self-employed" should not do so if he is ignorant of tax law and what his responsibilities would be. Self-employment taxes are due QUARTERLY as income is EARNED throughout the year. It is a "pay-as-you-go" system.
One would think that if a man is to oversee our country, and the Democrats or Obama feel that "he is the ONLY person who can help us or do this job"...then he should know his own personal responsibilities and ethically uphold them. To top it off, when he was "caught", he still didn't pay ALL the tax at once.
And, NOW, he wants to be the head of a huge department? Hmm......I think surely there is another person in our country who can do the job as well OR MUCH BETTER THAN A LIAR AND A CHEAT. He stole from all of us TAXPAYERS by not paying his fair share as it was earned....
I worked for the IRS for 13 years and have heard most every story in the book from taxpayers---but they did not run for this office or be chosen to be a cabinet leader...why should we believe anything he'll say or do? Why should we entrust our tax dollars to him?
If HE can tower over the IRS with HIS background, I have truly been stomped on by my government in more ways than one.
In closing, Thanks to those of you who worried that Tim was some guy on Fubar who had hurt me! It showed me that you care about me...and it showed me that we all need to become more aware of who Reithner is and whom Obama wants to have rule over us in our economic disaster. We need to learn to QUESTION MORE AND NOT JUST BE DAZZLED BY SOMEONE WHO HAS NOT ACTUALLY SHOWN US TANGIBLE ACHIEVEMENTS or told us of his plans.
