The other night I was up late playing Requiem, slaughtering hideous hordes of bloody monsters and I had a profound realism enter my mind. If the monsters were in fact cute and cuddly little animals, I'd not be sent to slaughter them, but instead to protect them. For the last week or two I've been stripping wallpaper. I hate wallpaper. Not only is it hard to put up/match the lines, but it's even more difficult to remove. The wallpaper I'm attacking is original to the house. It's 7 years old, and outdated in my mind. Pastel floral prints and blue with baskets of apples isn't my taste. Personally, I'd be a giggling fool if the world of wallpaper crashed. To make my dislike of wallpaper even deeper, one of the rooms has TWO layers of the crap. Instead of going about how I have been with the other rooms, I have to ensure that the second layer of vinyl is removed before wetting down the backing. Even further madening, is that none of the walls were primered. Yep, they put up the drywall and slapped on wallpaper. Never in life have I been a vindictive person usually just let stuff roll right off my back and chalk it up to a lesson learned and a mistake I won't let happen again. Why is it that there has to be left turn arrows at intersections. I may not be a great driver but I sure as hell don't need an arrow to tell me it safe to go! Hi everyone! For those who take the time to read this - thank you. Every year for the last 2 years I have walked the MS walk and attempt to get donations. I know money is tight every where. The walk this year is extra special for me because I am walking with my son. This is the first time he has wanted to be involved with my fund raising. Last year was a tough one for me and my family. I had 2 episodes of MS and he was there by my side being my little nurse some nights helping me with my IV making sure my meds went ok. I guess he is growing up on me. I have to say some where inside a little bit of my heart broke because he has to see me when I get "bad" and I can't do what I normally do. He puts up with my mood swings with the steroids when I go on them and I know it is tough for him to see me that way. I am walking because I was diagnosed with MS. An Eye Injury That Would Scare Anyone!
The injury to the NBA Pro Basketball Suns Forward Amare Stoudemire is not a good one for the simple fact of that matter is, partially detached or totally detached retina’s take time to recover, the reason why I say this is, back in 1999, I was dianosed with a detached retina, had to go thru surgery to attach the retina again and it was not fun at all because I had to take four different sets of eye drops, one of them was a steroid and what makes this even scarier is the fact that I am physically challenged with Cerebral Palsy, I am totally blind in my left eye & totally deaf in my left ear and have been since birth so therefore when I was diagnosed with a detached retina wasn’t fun in fact, I cried big time and was scared for my well being because I thought if they don’t repair this detached retina and reattach it, I was gonna be totally blind here! Not a pretty picture at all. Now after 1999, I had a detached retina in the same eye two more times here so I have been thru hell and back

Crystal Palace
The ominus palace sat upon the hill. Years of neglect had caused this once beautiful and regal palace to fall into disrepair. Weeds and dead limbs from trees littered the huge landscape. Today around 5 pm my mom attempted suicide. She called crying saying over and over again that she just wanted me to know how much she loved me. I rushed over to find her babbling incoherently and she was barely conscious. As my friend and I rushed her to the hospital her breathing was becoming more shallow. At the hospital all I could do was sit there with this helpless, sick, scared feeling in the pit of my stomach as they stuck tubes down her nose and throat, put her on a respirator and pump her stomach. California Redwood Run 2009
Every year there is a motorcycle ride to the redwoods in Piercy. This year the run is June 12-14. Check out this site. http://www.redwoodrun.com/ The site where the event is held is on private property. You have to have a ticket to get in. Price of a ticket from what I have been told is $130 for the three days. Places to stay are very few. If you like to camp camping is available onsite. I plan to leave Daytona Beach, FL. My plan is taking 6 to 7 days of riding to get to my brother in laws place in the San Francisco Bay area. From there do the run the ride back to Florida. i have now went and had all my tests run which i still have endometriosis but i now also have thyroid problems which they said to take my results to the family dr and he can decide if i need to be put on meds for that . although i havent had much time to get to him just yet because now i have one hell of a cold thats kicking my ass .. i am so tired of being sick all time .. i really feel ok some days but other days it takes all i have to just get up and get my son to the bus stop daily but i still have to get it done so far i havent had no periods which i am liking , so hopefully the pills is doing what they are meant to do so when i go back for my checkup i won't have no more surgeries thank god . i have had my fair share of surgeries the past few yrs and if u know anything about me at all you will know what im talkin about there also .now all i need to do is try to kick this cold in the ass which isn't working too well at the moment i guess my immune system is down or something b

My Neice
Okay, my neice is only 9 years old and ever since she was born we noticed she had brown spots on her skin. They got it tested when she was 1 and it turned out to be Neurofibromatosis. It didn't really become too much of a problem until a few years ago. She started having attention issues which they said was ADHD from the disease. Then the spots started growing and spreading out. Her eyes got worse and now she has like 70/40 vision; which her dad already has eye problems which run in the family... so she got it double on that account. The other day (Friday the 13th) she went and had an MRI done. A spot on her brain changed shape from the last tme they did one. They did another test and it came back postive that this is a 1 cm sized brain tumor. We now have to wait 3 months to do another MRI and see what has happened and then she will go to a brain surgeon and have to have brain surgery. I am very upset about all of this and simply ask for support from my friends. Thanks for reading.

Just to let everyone know I won't be on here very much in the next month or so. I have soo much that I have to get done before I can move. I am finally headed back home. Participation/appreciation Interests
I was introduced to art appreciation in the 4th grade, where Mrs. Green was sponsoring Texas UIL competition in that area. I took 30 art pictures home and memorized them in one day according to my mother. I think her memory is bad on this point, but i definitely was entranced and enjoyed several of the pictures all classical. My artistic efforts in those years were pretty limited, mostly of ancient scooners and cars. My 1st choice of art styles is impressionistic and Van Gogh. There is a website, i don't know how they got my name, that gets the public to be juries of artists paintings/photos/sculptures/mixed media each month if the public person will comment on 20 artists. Things To Know...
As some of you know, and many of you don't...I have been violently coughing since thanksgiving. Not coughing anything up, just dry hacking coughs. I went to the doctor in January, and they did a chest x-ray. It came back, in the words of the doctor, "not good". So they scheduled me for a cat scan of my chest. It showed areas of my left lung with blockages, and my lymph nodes around my heart swollen badly. They believe I have either Sarcoidosis of Lymphoma. Great news to get, either way, huh? I go into the hospital tomorrow, to have biopsies done on my lungs and lymph nodes. They are doing a Bronchoscopy and a Mediastinoscopy. While still asleep, they'll send the biopsies to pathology to determine if it's cancer or not. If not, they close me up, sent me to a room and I get out tomorrow or Thursday. If it is, however some kind of cancer, then they start removing chunks of my lungs/lymph nodes and I get to stay for a longer time. I ask that you keep me and my family in your thoughts and

Dr. Appt 4 My Son
So about a week ago we went for a conference with one of the doctors in Neurology from the hospital in regards to the EEG test that my son had. According to the test it is confirmed that my son is having small brain seizures that are lasting from 1-2 seconds. Although they aren't lasting very long it's still enough to raise a concern. They have now started him on a medication, but I probably won't see any major improvements for a least a month. This will give us time to raise the dosage based on height, weight, etc. This is all the information I have for now, but would appreciate any prayers you can toss his way, and I will keep my peeps that care updated.
