I've been a metal fan for a while. Metallica, Megadeth, Black Sabbath, Zakk Wylde, too many more to list. So as a fan I look for new music to see where the genera is heading. I'm sick of it. There needs to be musical talent behind it and meaning behind the violence. Feb 20 2008 worst day in my army career. This day, in 2008, i was in Iraq. It was the absolute worst day of my two tours over there, no contest. I have never sat down and wrote down everything that had happened but I feel it is time for me to now. All this is to the best of my recollection and since its been 2 years i might be fuzzy on some points, but i dont think that i'll be too far off. It was a bright sunny day in Mosul, Iraq. Gold Platoon Alpha section was scheduled for OP(Observation Position/post) on Rte Santa Fe on the west side of the city. I need dj's with voice recording abilities and with a good voice to make a sample of their voice for me. I am currently working on a song and I would like to put a sample or two at the beginning of the song and maybe 1 or 2 at the end. I am willing to pay fubucks and make an voice promo for shows on the stations that you dj for. The way I am thinking it should be is i need a male voice and a female voice. The sample should be about the song in general which is called "Porcelain Doll". It is an industrial/goth song so the sample should be slightly dark but slightly seductive (hence the male/female vocals). I can always put slight effects or heavy effects to fit the song. I first want to wish all moms, all single dads that take on the role of mom and dad, all grammas, all moms to be and all 2nd moms a Very Happy Mothers Day! Through gods gift and lots of prayers I was given the title of mom almost 9 years ago. At an early age, I found out I wasnt able to have children. My hopes and dreams of being called mommy were shattered. My dreams of walking hand and hand with my little one, teaching a child everything I know, attending PTA meetings, laughing with, crying with and growing older with my child was gone. Until one day, I decided I was going to be a mom. Through the adoption process, I became a mom almost 9 years ago. I was given my gift of a beautiful daughter the day she was born. Through a long and dragged out process, I picked her up brand new at the hospital. This was the most wonderful and memorable day of my life. I was now a mommy !! I look forward to Mothers Day as a day i remember as god answering my prayers and a gift from my dad.

Double Layer Pumpkin Pie
Yes this is a Kraft recipe BUT I alter it slightly & every year I have to make it for both Thanksgiving & Christmas! Actually I have to make this Tuesday night so my mom can take a couple to a pot luck lol 4 oz. cream cheese, softened 1 Tbsp. milk 1 Tbsp. Sugar 1 - 8oz. tob of Cool Whip 2 graham pie crusts 1 cup milk 1 - 15oz. can pimpkin already seasoned 2 - 4serving size each pkgs. vanilla flavor instant pudding Mix cream cheese, 1 Tbsp. milk and sugar in large bowl with hand mixer or wire whisk until well blended. Stir in half of the whipped cream. Spread into crust. Pour 1 cup milk, into large bowl. Add pumpkin, pudding mixes & rest of cool whip. Beat mixer/whisk 2 minutes or until well blended. Spread over first layer & refrigerate 4 hours or until set. I usually make them the night before I need them, I just flip the plastic part that comes with the crust over to cover them. Giving Up...
I just don't understand. The more I try to make people happy, the more unhappy they seem to become. I just want to make the people I care about, feel important and loved, but it always seems to backfires. At first it is all good, then slowly they grow more distant, they start telling you stuff like you can do better or they offer some other alternative to themselves. If you don't want me, just tell me, I may be upset at first, but I will get over it. Don't string me along to protect me, that is like torture. I'm going to start this post by saying EVERY MAN CAN FUCK OFF AND DIE. Starting with my ex-husband. Wow... So I have been talking to this female for about a month and a half. We have gone through some pretty intense situations and they have all been kinda bad. Through everything that we went through, we were able to talk out our problems and get close to back to normal. Well then this past weekend happened. I went to the beach, and I was too busy to call her, or let alone anyone; so I did what I was doing while at the beach. Not Sure What To Do...
just blogging about my life thus far.. Well... In the last yr I've managed to go from doing nothing with nothing to doing nothing with a CNA. I went into Job Corps. in Clearfield, Utah. I went there because I had nothing to do and needed something to get me going. I was in the "I don't want to do anything" mode of my life. So I went and signed up for Job Corps though" Well this will give me something to do...and hey I can stay out of trouble at the same time" so I went. I got there Dec. 5, 2006..at 3:42 pm(yeah i know... why remember the time?) it was pretty sunny out..and chilly. I got into the dorm i was going to stay in few the next 6-7 wks. I go through the 6-7 wks of intro to classes. Then move dorms to a slightly better one. I go into Culinary until I can get the required things for getting into Health Occ. I go through another 5-6 wks of classes in a high school lvl setting and get my GED(SCORE! GED! What I needed) Now I'm in Health Occ. and loving it. Well I'll save the rest fo

Oh Gawd Baby Daddy Drama.
My daughters dad has recently come back into her life, after 29 years. He want's to be a part of her life. She wanted to look him up, she left him a voice mail,, and damn if he didn't call back. I'm so conflicted over this, I left him almost 30 years ago, he was wanting me to have an abortion, and I refused. Now I have my Lexi, who will turn 29 Sat Sept 6th. Once again this is Renegadelvr's fiance, Forsaken Bitch. He had his surgery on Oct. 27th. He did have a minor complication after the surgery, but he is doing well now. He really appreciates everyone's thoughts, prayers, and gifts. He does have a long recovery ahead of him. He hopes to be able to get online soon so he can thank everyone for himself. Well I went and saw the infectious disease doctor this morning, referred by my bone specialist, he is recommending that the bone specialist doctor take out all the hardware in my arm, said that the hardware can get infected and cause the bone to get infected as well. Crazy Summer
This has been the craziest year I have ever had. On may 19th I was hurt at work. Went to the hospital on may 23rd. because of a head ache that just wouldn't go away. this was trip number 1 for that day. They couldn't find anything wrong so they gave me a couple of shots and sent me home. About 2 hours later the headache was back so I went back. Pain
My body goes thru different levels of pain on a daily basis ranging from a 7 to a 10. A year ago, I would pray for a 5, now I pray for a 7, and dread the almighty 10, which is the hospital equivalent of your intestines being ripped from your body as your bran is leaking from your ears. I have not been able to sleep, nor have I been able to get comfortable in bed due to the pain. When this occurs, I often tend to induce pain elsewhere, causing the pain in my back/tailbon/leg to go down a bit. I haven't done this in awhile because I have been happy in my life despite the pain...... but am serously thinking about it again. I can't continue to fight the pain in my normal manner..... which is hide. My father yells at me because I am not sucking it up like he does. My mom yells at me because I am not babying myself like the doctors tell me to. I scream and cry because I feel alone sometimes in this battle. I wish people would just sit back and shut the hell up because even the arguing hurts

The recipe multiplies easily for a party ‑- just be sure to use extra pans as needed so as not to crowd the wings while roasting. Night @ Hospital
It seems if it wasn't for bad luck lately, i'd have none at all. Yesterday morning i went in for my 3rd opinion. All seemed good at first. The new doctor had a new approach that sounded fine to me. I hate getting camera stuck up my peeker. He wanted to go through the mouth. No problem i thought. Half way through the procedure i had a seizure. My first one ever. Turns out, i had taken a Vikaden in the morning and it didn't go well with the anesthetic. Make a long story short. They didn't finish checking my back. I'll have to do it again. I had to spend night in hospital to be watched. And i'm one unhappy Cubster. Sorry if this doesn't make much sense. I'm probably more high than i have ever been. My body feels like its been through a meat grinder. Having a seizure really takes alot out of you. My throat is killing me from the camera, and i'm just going to lay down for the day. thanks for all the people checking on me. Nice to know people care. I'll be back hopefully tom

Baked Scallops And Mushrooms In Garlic Sauce
3/4 lb scallops 1/4 cup flour 1/2 lb mushrooms, stems removed and minced 3 tblsp olive oil 1/4 cup white wine 3 tblsp fine bread crumbs 2 tblsp minced onion 1 tblsp minced parsely 2 clove minced or pressed garlic pinch of red pepper flakes & salt Instructions: ------------- Preheat oven to 350F. Brush a shallow baking dish with 1 tbs of the oil. Bake the 'shroom caps for 10 min. Combine stems, crumbs, onion, parsely, red pepper and salt mix together well. Add scallops to the baking dish. (If you really want to be artistic, plan it out so the scallops are a good size to fit into the mushroom caps, and buy the same number of each. Then you can stick one scallop in each 'shroom.) Add the wine to the baking dish. Sprinkle the minced mixture over all, and drizzle the remaining oil over. Bake for 20 more min, or until done.

Me N My Damn Ass...
Ok this is a rant blog about whom...myself. Ok as most of you know i recently had 4 major surgeries on my right leg(ankle) and im currently in a cast. Since its my right leg my insurance wont cover me so im not able to drive thus having to depend on others to run my errands (which i HATE). Well its been snowing here and we still have a lot of ice on the ground so i basically dont go anywhere unless its to my dr. appts (crutches n ice dont mix). Well ive been out of my pain medication for 2 days and my muscle relaxers just are not cutting it waiting on someone to go to the drug store and pick them up for me. Im not mad at my friends or mother as im aware they are busy but the more i sit here in pain the angrier i get about just not being able to do for myself PERIOD. So after once again calling a friend and getting im unable to leave right now i said fuck it..grabbed my crutches, put on my coat and shoe and went to the door. My Treatment Plan
Today I went to do my radiation simulation and get all set up for starting next Monday. Daily treatments, 5 days a week for 6 weeks... the good news is they say I shouldn't feel the side effects until around week 4, and they should be over with by a week or two after they're done. But I've been also recommended to see a shrink as well as potentially massage therapy - and since I've already met my max out of pocket for the year, the insurance is supposed to pay 100%! And also for a nutritionist to go over a high protein diet that should help, but can also sneak in some weight loss tips for after my treatments are done (they've asked me to stop trying to lose weight for the next couple months so the side affects don't hit me even worse). I only got 2 hours of sleep last night, worrying about today and the possibility of uprooting the family if my hubby goes for this job in MA. I was able to get about 1.5 hours of nap in, but I'm about to drop.

My Army Experience
Alot of times I have been asked, "Why did you join the Army?" Truthfully I did it because I didn't wish to go to college yet, I was tired of school, I wanted to do somethign different. One of my cousins had joined the marines a few years before and I went to her graduation and I became enamoured with the lifestyle. So when i was a senior I joined the marines, long story short it didnt work out so a year roundabouts after i graduated i Joined the army and went to basic. Throughout my time in I had successes and failures. Granted my failures outweigh my successes but that doesn't overall tarnish the experience. Ultimately my successes are MY successes same as my failures are MY failures, noone elses but mine. I could always pass blame around liberally. The military, like everything else, but possibly more so, you get out of it what you put into it. If you put your heart and soul into it then you'll be a "fast tracker" and rise fast and high in the ranks. or you can be a complete "shitbag

The Truth
I am so sick of people thinking that just because another person does something that it all has to be about them. It's not. I'm pretty sure people on here have real lives...granted some have more of a real life than others do. At any rate, I was asked to tell the truth, so here it goes.... About three months ago I left this site. I had every intention of deleting and NEVER coming back. I'm sure some people were asking questions as to why I left. I didn't exactly make it known. There were a few people that knew, but that's it. Now to tell why I deleted. 1. One of my best friends told me to pretend that he didn't exsist. It sucked. He was a friend that I always talked to about things. He was one person that I could be honest with and know that he was honest with me, even though he was rarely honest with anyone else. Now that did happen before I left, but it just compounded with everything and was a huge mess. 2. I needed to focus on my real life. My REAL boyfriend and my sons.

I’m not questioning the amazing feeling you get when you think you’re falling in love with someone. I am, however, wondering what exactly it is that makes us want to fall in love (especially for those of us that have a plethora of broken-hearted memories, some of which may live on when the right subject or name is brought up). The Long Train Ride
I was sitting in the railcar, listening to the rat tat tat of the car passing over the tracks. LAST NIGHT I WATCHED AN HOUR MLONG SHOW ABOUT SEAL TEAM 6. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THIS TEAM EVEN EXISTED UNTIL BIN LADEN WAS KILLED BY THEM. I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS AT ALL. THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS WHY DO WE (U.S. MILITARY, GOVERNMENT) HAVE TO BROADCAST ABOUT THEM. ON THIS PROGRAM THEY SHOWED TACTICAL WEAPONS TRAINING, THE RIGOROUS TRAINING THAT THEY ALL HAVE TO DO, SOME OF THE EQUIPMENT THEY USE, WHY AND HOW THEY USE IT. HOW THEY CAN GET INTO PLACES WITHOUT THE ENEMY KNOWING.
