I'm Going To Disneyland!!!!
Who *hasn't* always wanted to say that?!?!?! Well, there's a conference coming up in March at the Disneyland Hotel. I have such an awesome job that I'm being sent :) I have 2 days of seminars, a day off, and then a day of expo... and come back in the middle of friday. Dragon Fruit
Last year, while on a regular grocery shopping trip, I found DRAGON FRUIT... now my original reason for buying it was simply the fact that I like dragons, so it sounded interesting. It cost me $2.49 for one. When I got home, I quickly got online, so find out exactly WHAT it was and HOW to eat it. ha ha. Well, it is SO delicious! juicy, and yummy. it contains many little 'seeds' like a kiwi, has a similar taste to a kiwi, though more sweet. The one I got was white flesh but apparently they can range from white to red. I would like to try the others, just to see if there is a difference in taste. It was brought to my attention that I contradicted myself when I bitched about people having auto-11s. What I was bitching about was people that will just go and rate and not speak to the person they are rating. 10 Days To Go
Here I sit this morning with only 10 days to go before I take this leap off into the unknown. I have never made a decision quite so quickly before in my life. Truth be told I am scared to death. When giving birth you have 9 months to prepare yourself. When you get married you have the engagement period to prepare yourself. I made this decision on a whim and now I am just plain terrified. What if I get to where I am going and hate it. What if I just put a monkey wrench in all the goals and dreams I had set for myself? These are all things I think of. I have been so wrapped up in school and preparations for my move that I am finally starting to slow down and think. I know at this time it is the best decision for me. But I am not the type of person who worries about me. I worry about everyone else involved. Everyone else and their happiness comes before mine. Its the way I live my life. Anyway, I guess I'm just venting. Deep Down I know it will all work out.

I Am So Proud
Last night my kindergarten daughter, just finished her last book in first grade hooked on phonics. She is reading at a first grade level now and it makes me so proud. starting Monday we are starting second grade hooked on phonics. She loves to read and is trying so hard so that she can read on her own. The teachers are all so amazed at how smart she is and says that she is well advanced for her age. She is always trying to learn new things and if she keeps going by the end of elementary school she will be reading well over a sixth grade level. I am talking to the teacher today to see if they can give her a little more difficult books to read since she has mastered all the easy ones. I dont want her to get bored. I am the most proudest mom in the whole world.

Enchilada Casserole
Ingredients: * 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine * 3/4 cup chopped onion * 1 can black beans * 1/4 cup taco sauce * 3 8-ounce cans of tomato sauce * 1/2 tsp. garlic powder * 12 corn or flour tortillas (flour are easier to roll) * 5 tsp. chili powder * 1 1/2 cups low-fat, shredded cheddar cheese * 1 bay leaf * 1/4 tsp. pepper * 1 pound lean ground beef or ground turkey Place butter in a 1 1/2-quart glass casserole. Microwave at high setting for 1 minute, or until melted. Add 1/2 cup onion. Cover and microwave at high setting for 4 minutes or until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, bay leaf and pepper. Cover and microwave at high setting 5 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Crumble ground beef or turkey into a glass casserole dish. Add 1/4 cup onion. Microwave at high setting for 3 minutes. Sex Offender Notice
I have something that has been angering me for a few weeks. In the mail I received a notice for a sex offender that moved into my neighborhood a few houses down. It gave a detailed account of what he did, when he did it and a vehicle description with a license plate number. Without getting into detail, I will just say that this wasn’t some 18 year old guy sleeping with his 16 year old girlfriend. He did some seriously horrible stuff. (That’s right… stuff. What’s worse is that the lights turned off when I was in the shower THREE times. I had to sleep with the bathroom door closed. I complained about this five days in a row. Upside Down Apple Pie,,,mmmm Good
This pie is absolutely fantastic The flavor is out of control gooey, cinnamony and just overall out of this world. Coat a deep-dish pie plate with nonstick cooking spray and line it with parchment paper. Coat the paper with cooking spray also. Now, I used a deep-dish pie plate, the Emile Henry brand from Williams-Sonoma and it is a little deep for refrigerated dough (there is not a lot of hangover for sealing the two crusts together). I think a regular pie plate would be fine.In a small bowl combine 4 Tablespoons of melted butter, brown sugar and pecans. Mix well and spread evenly over the bottom of the pie plate, on top of the parchment. First day of Impaired Driver Intervention Program. Or IDIP for short. It went fabulously. Of course, going in with a bad attitude didn't help. I know. Before you even ask, yes I've been checking. Do dogs have Asama? Basically I need to bring dog in. Any body that knows anything about me knows I can't afford it. So any Dr.s or vets out there? My female Husky 3 yrs old wakes up and gasps for air. She's very athletic and doesn't have problems running and playing. But when she wakes from a nap especially if startled, she gasps or coughs. kinda makes a noise and action like a horse "phhh". I've been told stuff like allergies and such. Any input would be appreciated. Like I said I can't afford to chase shadows. Update. I'm more worried about her bloody diarrhea now. last time she had this it cost me $900. in vet bills. Just a quick note. I have made some good friends on fubar over the last couple years.Some of you a bit more than others. So, I'm going back to school for my associates, but they have a test called the accuplacer. It tells you if youcan move on to college classes or if you need extra help. What I Do For Work
so people wonder what a teacher assitant for disabled kids does, we help with planning the ducation of each child assigend according to what it called an IEP ( Independant Education Plan), which includes teachers, psychologists, therapists and the parents. This lines out what the disablity is and how to best teach the child through out the school year. Sometimes behaviors that are not to thier best interests or the classrooms come up, so behavior plans arw sometimes included, which means removal of that student or other student through out the day along w helping htem wiht the work assisgned as needed, monitoring them through out the day. Its a tough job, but I love it. The second job I do , is work with disabled or elders it thier homes with chores, appontments or anything else they need , including showes, paying bills, all the things we take for granted I am not a lazy person and I love to play too..hehe

Yesterday, Aiden had to go to the Apple store to get a replacement battery for his laptop, they told him he had to replace it online. Finally An Update!
Finally an update..... Been back in the states since May 19th. Damn the time has gone on forever, or so it seems! If all goes right I will be leaving to go back to Deutschland on August 30th. Keep your fingers crossed for me! All that I have been dreaming about lately is being back with my hunni! There will be a lot of obstacles once I do return there, for one being the language but as long as I am with Rudi, to me the language can be is an easy barrier to overcome. Every time I think that less then 4 weeks I will be able to look in those eyes again, I semi get that anxiety attack feeling. Yet, I know it is a mixture of anxiety and excitement! The only part I don't look forward to is the flight, going with the cheapest flight, which is most feasible, will have me with 2 stops before I get to Frankfurt, one in Phoenix and one in Philly. Before was pretty simple, from Spokane to Chicago to Frankfurt.

Just Venting....
You know there are times when you feel like expressing something out loud but at the same time you don't want to be judged for it well I'm having one of those epiphany moments and not sure what to do! I've had these ummmmmm emotions bottled up for sometime and I just pushed them to the back of my head but since yesterday for some reason they came forward and now I've done nothing but think about them! It's weird that always just suddenly happens to me! So, right now I'm broke and I'm a mess and not sure what to make of it and I want to shout it to the world but I know some people will not hear me out! :P Somehow I want the world to know everything but then at the same time I'm waiting for that "one" guy to take the time and have the patience to take down my wall and just a fair warning to him there will be a river of tears as I'm writing this now I'm crying which it's becoming hard to write this! :P But yeah is there anyone out there that will?
