Cowboy Chicken
INGREDIENTS * 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves * 1 (16 ounce) jar prepared salsa * 3 tablespoons brown sugar * 1 teaspoon brown mustard DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). 2. Place the chicken in a shallow baking dish. In a medium bowl, stir together the salsa, brown sugar and mustard; pour over the chicken. Cover the dish with aluminum foil. 3. Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, until chicken is cooked through. Remove the foil for the last 15 minutes to brown the chicken.

I don't know what it is but I feel really unappreciated in this house. So for those of you who do not yet know, I have Lupus. Hence the Lupus Awareness stuff in my stash. Due to it's having wreaked havoc on my lungs, I was actually on life support not so long ago and am currently in the hospital. So if you thought you had a bad day because your Aunt Gertrude insisted on pinching your cheeks or you didn't get everything you wanted, just remember it could be worse. I have spent my last two birthdays and Yules in the hospital. Both times alone. I have another 2 months roughly before I am done with my physical therapy to build my strength back up. 11:30 Ok So this time I am being super serious!!!!! So we had a weight loss thingie in the office with 6 girls involved right? I didn't quite make it. My goal was to drop 10lbs and I only lost 8, which in turn is good, but I fell short of those 2 lbs. Have you ever felt lost and alone, like you don't fit in or belong anywhere? It seems to be I am nothing to no one and the only time anyone bothers with me is if they need and favor or need to bitch and has no one else to vent to. Today....
So today me and my family had to deal with something that no one should go through but they do. Today I had to sit my ass in a waiting room, and wait for a doctor to come out and tell me if the main man in my life has cancer or not. Unfourtanetly a few months ago my Grandfather and his doctor noticed that he had blood in his stool. This lead to a lot of test and then of course today when he had a colonoscopy done. His docotor had been worried that it was cancer but he wasnt to sure.... So today as I sat in the waiting room it took me back to 3 years ago around this time when i was doing the same exact thing except it was my grandmother. We were not so lucky with her..She was diagnosed in july of 06 and was gone by that october.....I have yet to deal with her death yet. Today..
would have been, my 19th wedding anniversary. Im having trouble accessing how I feel about that. The former echos of failure that I was expecting would resurface, seem, distant. You know, late last year, my bud's father died, and his only living brother was arrested at the funeral... for molesting his kids... Well.... another one of my closest childhood friends... told me back in 1996, that his dad had left his mom, for a younger woman..He was gone about a year, and then came home to his wife. I thought they just made up, etc etc.. I had to look at the sex offenders registry the other day. The school sent papers home of a new child rapist moving into town.. This is the 4th time this school year.. Anyway.. there it was... This friend's father's face.. First time I've seen it on the site, as well... His offense was in 1996, and he served 1 year in jail for it.. He DID leave for a younger woman, that is true... she was 11 years old.. WTF is wrong with my old friends??

On my way from Oregon to West Virginia I learned a very good lesson that I will never forget. When I left Oregon to head to Bills house in West Virginia I was a different person in a way. 8JUN2013, About week 6 of the Academy I double tapped on a test. On the college level I had a B grade for that test but to the POST requirements I didn't score high enough to pass. 2 fails on same test or 5 test total and you have to recycle etc...Well it was a good thing actual. About week 3 I thought I had a nasty pulled muscle in my shoulder and fought through it. A week after I left the academy and saw a doctor I was told I had "Scapular Dyskinessis" basically my left scapula is seperated from the shoulder. Had I torn it it would be instant surgery. Now I say is because the 5 weeks I have been out of the academy trying to heal and NOT being allowed to do jack shit it has not healed fully...However I start up 191st on Monday 10JUN. I have to suck it up this 1st week which I believe is hardest of them all. Then I can continue physical therapy every other Monday I have off and drive my doctor and therapist crazy. Competition Results
Thank you to everyone who gave me their support for my competition. Well, overall in the drug-free competition, I ended up 5th. They figured this on ratios of how much the person weighs compared to what they lifted. I squatted 578, benched 385, and deadlifted 523... all personal records for me in competition. I weighed in at 162.25lbs. Overall out of everyone in my weight class, I had the best total. It was good meet, and I'll be competing again in the spring at National's to try and qualify for the World's. Thanks again. :)

Well today I finally got back to work. It's only been two weeks! January always sucks in the flooring biz. I've even resorted to putting in "cold" bids on jobs I've seen posted on Craigslist. Inner Peace
I am passing this on to you because it definitely worked for me and we all could use more calm in our lives. A guy cut in front of my wife Sarah 1/29/07 totaling her car, & cracking her sternum from top to bottom, air bag didn’t open (glad-would of broke her glasses & cut her face up) so she suffered seat belt trauma. 1 week after Sarah, I was driving the rental PT Cruser when it was starting to snow heavily, & a guy cut in front of me on 59 by Pontiac lake rd, sped up than hit his brakes. So I taped my brakes & slid, let up & angled into the stretch parking lot of Pontiac lake motel & the party store on the corner. it would of worked perfect, except I hit a piece of broken curb & a rock, throwing my direction off from angled runway to right turn into cut off telephone post barrier fronted by big rocks. Rock knocked an 8" across chunk out of the oil pan, we know it was the pan because the drain plug was in the center of it, & I stopped with a pole logged behind the front clip up against the front axel, so when I backed it up off the rock it tore the whole front clip off!!! on the 20 th of this month my son was hit by a car and now has 2 skull fracturs and a broak neck please pray for us as we go down this long road... Well I did it. I submitted one of my poems to be judged in a contest and you know what? I am in the semi-finals and a chance at some money. Yeah me! Regardless I will be a published author again - yes I was one once before with a story I wrote way back in the 6th Grade. So Yeah.... I went to a friend from works wedding this weekend. Well it was a vow renewal. It was a beautiful ceremony. Her colors were yellow and white, and while the person "officiating" over it forgot to turn the mic off when she left the hall and pointed her mistakes out for everyone, it was awesome. You can tell that after being married 5 years that they still love and care VERY deeply for one another.... While I was sitting there I kept thinking about how much I want what they have. You know, someone who wants to be with me and only me, through the good and the bad. I wonder if I'll ever find that. Don't get me wrong. I love my life where it's at. I have a "new" job with one of the Subsidiaries and have the control that I've wanted. My new boss is AWESOME even when I bug him over the simplest things. Boss Sold And Taste Of The Danforth
So I found out last week that my boss has sold her business, the new owners take over Aug 27th. It really sucks cause I just got comfortable there, and I really like my boss. AS I turn a year older, i ralize not how old I'm becoming, but how much time I have left. Last year when I turned 50, I realized that this was only the first half of my life. what do you do when the 2 people you love the most are areguing/fighting and you sit there and watch it. not knowing what to do. feeling as if they are falling apart and you are split between them, when you are trying to hold them together. trying to figure out where the communication isnt meeting up, and you feel you are falling apart as well. i an at the point of going outside and screaming untill everyone stops and listens. being an empathic person has its goods and its bads but when the 2 most important people in your life are drifting away from each other it feels like a curse. i feel like i'mm 5 years old again watching my mom and dad fight and my dad leave and with him taking a part of me leaving me feeling empty lost and confused. gunna stop my rant now before i go nuts and emotions start to really fly.

******UPDATE******* When I first posted this blog I had a song and lyrics on here. But now I'm bitter and I no longer believe that people actually care for eachother in this way. I think the way we all treat eachother now days is disgusting. It seems as though we only care about ourselves. Farewell
To all my friends, On Saturday morning, at 11:30am, October 6th, we lost our beloved mother. I am terribly sorry I have not been on as of late, but my brother and I, night and day, were trying to make a great lady as commfortable as possible in her final days. She left us in no pain and as comfortable as one could be. She now joins her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ in a better place. Believe me, shes with him. My brother and I have found much comfort in that. I want to thanks everyone who truly knew the situation and was truly there for me night and day. God bless all of you. Problem No Longer Exists
Hello all! Just a little update on this previous blog entry. The problem no longer exists. I no longer work for that company and that supervisor. I posted this blog 11/8. 11/9 the supervisor let me go. Now ain't that irony. Oh well Goddes/God know what she/he are doing. I had been struggling with that particular business for about 3 weeks or so. I had made the decision that if something drastic didn't happen and a huge turnaround was made by the end of the month it was going to be me walking out the door. I guess it was time to walk out the door sooner. So I'm out in the job market again! I wouldn't even be looking if we didn't need the money. I'm perfectly happy being an at home mom. Unfortunately hubby's income is not big enough to keep all debts paid and do all the remodeling we need to do or buy a new house. So that's the way of it. I hope you all are having a great week! Please Help Find This Man!
If you're reading this.... PLEASE just take a second to read the news report and look at the pictures to see if you have seen this man. He's in connection with a 3 month olds death which authorities found on the side of the road after being thrown from a car. I'm posting with this the bulletin the mother of the 3 month old had written pleading for help to find this man.
