About week 6 of the Academy I double tapped on a test. On the college level I had a B grade for that test but to the POST requirements I didn't score high enough to pass. 2 fails on same test or 5 test total and you have to recycle etc...Well it was a good thing actual. About week 3 I thought I had a nasty pulled muscle in my shoulder and fought through it. A week after I left the academy and saw a doctor I was told I had "Scapular Dyskinessis" basically my left scapula is seperated from the shoulder. Had I torn it it would be instant surgery. Now I say is because the 5 weeks I have been out of the academy trying to heal and NOT being allowed to do jack shit it has not healed fully...However I start up 191st on Monday 10JUN. I have to suck it up this 1st week which I believe is hardest of them all. Then I can continue physical therapy every other Monday I have off and drive my doctor and therapist crazy. I wont quit or give up. It's not even an option at this point...so again plz bare with me on returning love and comments and rates, NO internet at the academy and prob only come home every other weekend or 1 day of regualr weekends. Cell is not really and option cause FU doesn't like my cell that much lol...Take care xoxo and all that :-)
18APR2013. Week 5 is done and past me. I am no longer in the dorms so maybe afew of you have noticed me popping in and out of FU lately. Still more busy then I care to admit...with uniform maintenance, study for so many tests, both academic and defensive tactics kinds (those are fun by the way). But I am on a 1 month recover status atm. I screwed up my Rhomboid muscle and it feels like I was stabbed in the shoulder cause of. It's either this or it turns into a major injury and then they are forced to remove me. I will tale the break. Give me time to memorize some things I am struggling with atm. It's been and experiance so far. If I was to compare it to any of my military training I would say its very close to my Basic training only these guys don't care if they push too hard and u get hurt...They just ask if you want to ring the bell lol. So almost NO time to recover and they throw in every form of cardio and muscle work out you can think of in a 2 hr period of time added with running so you had BETTER already be in GREAT shape or your DONE. Plain and simple. SFAS was still hardest all around but I am sore EVERY day and this is new to me. But I am getting faster and stronger then I was also. Benefits, lost a few inches alone the waste so now it looks like I did when I was with group..Nice and tight and my chest and arms are getting some needed love as well. Look for pics and some already up. Sorry NO uniform pics as it's automatic removal if they show up on any internet site...sorry ladies :-P Now my head is full of Penal and Vehicle codes and I have learned so much in a short period of time. i am at that stage where my brain is a sponge and neededs to be feed lol. 10MAR2013 "Let's see how many forget me"
I will be moving into the Academy dorms on 10MAR2013 for a few weeks. W/O realible transportation for now and waiting on my taxes to come in, I kinda don't have a choice. I will have limited to no internet/WIFI at best. A few weeks with little luxury SUCK's but I been there done that type of thing so many times through out my military carreer that I can deal with this. Besides I have the right amount of family support and yes that includes a couple here who actually care/know me as well. I will get on how and when I can but my days will be LONG and closer to hell then most would like. I personally don't mind sweat, mud and dirt and I will be seeing a LOT of that the 1st few weeks. BRING IT!!! We will see who stands by me and actually realizes that I am not even really here in the next few weeks.
I DID not and will NOT forget you, I just won't be able to have a way to get on here much for awhile. EVEN when I get WIFI my contact in here for a few weeks will be very limited to a few for updates and some ♥. Be back when I can and hopefully it's sooner then l8r as FU changes so much in a short period of time.. Love hard and often, smile, live life and always move forward....
Let's see...Last week has been a trying and tough time for my family. My grandma passed away on Saturday the 23rd and my Mom is devastated. Most of us knew it was just a matter of time as she has been in a hospital pretty much skin and bones for yrs. But even though it may seem that the suffering is now over to lose anyone let alone a close relative and of course a Mother; my mom is taking it hard. She is currently on her way to Panama to attend the Funeral. Could not have come at a worse time for our family emotionally but we are strong. Always have been always will be...for those very few less then a handful of people I had told early...My mother and I thvm from the bottom of our hearts for the love and kindness you have expressed for the loss. My grandma was very importnat to me as for a few yrs she helped my Mom raise me when that douche bag left my Mom with 3 kids and one on the way...Js she had a lil hand in my upbringing and I still remember the feel of her slippers on my back side. Love you always Grandma. May you finally be at peace.
On a HUGELY more positive note. It was made official yesterday afternoon (28FEB2013) that I earned my spot into the POST Basic Peace Officer Academy. I start the 11th. I plan on doing no less then Exceeding the Standards. It's just how I roll lol.
