I went to the doctor yesterday , and the good news is I do not have the flu, or pnumonia, like I originally thought . I have been re diagnosed with Viral Bronchitus, and the being of having astma on top of all of that . But the way I see it, its just another obstacle I need to get through . As I have stated in the past my life is full of challenges , from two car wreck, and losing my mother (lost her in the first wreck) , to having knees operated on , to getting Diabetes ( so they say ). Garlic Ice Cream
I seriously suggest not making this if you are a vampire, lol. Not for the weak at heart, more something for the daring individual. Garlic Ice Cream 3 (750 ml) cups whole milk ½ tsp (2 ml) finely chopped garlic 1 vanilla bean, split in half 1 cup (250 ml) heavy cream 1 ½ cups (375 ml) sugar 9 egg yolks Put milk, garlic and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat. Blend the cream, sugar, and egg yolks in a mixing bowl. Strain the scalded milk into the egg and sugar mixture, stirring constantly. Return the combined mixture to the pan and stir continuously over moderate heat until it coats the back of a spoon, about 10 to 15 minutes. Cool in an ice bath and freeze until firm. Serves 4 to 6.

Sexual Waterboarding!!
So as a few of you are aware I have been having some health difficulties of late. This is not something I am used to as most of you who actually know me in real life can attest to. I have been the picture of health all my life and suddenly my heart has decided to take a vacation. That would be great if I were going through a romantic break up of some sort. I am not going through anything except trying to stay alive. Unfortunately, like many Americans who own a small business, my health insurance only covers me until I get sick. Makes me happy I am paying those big premiums every month. So I go to the Veterans Administration because I am a Purple Heart veteran and I get my care for free, excluding a small fee for medicine. They forgot that part of the promise to me somewhere around the beginning of the Bush Administration...the one that said everything was covered for life since I unconditionally put my life on the line. Whats Real Anymore!!
So Confused anymore not sure who or what to believe. Someone once told me to follow my heart and my gut I have done this and gotten hurt some may times I can't do it anymore. I am so tired of being the one in pain I just wana close myself off from everyone. People who said they were my friends and said they were here for me no matter what have left, I am so tired of fake people and fake friends, or people who tell u they care about you when they really don't. Hi Everyone, Sorry for the long time between updates, but life goes on and sometimes gets a little hectic. Anyway, the update - as expected, Kicks has had some ups and downs, but no major scares, at least nothing that the doctors were overly concerned with. The doctors alerted us that she would have good and bad days as her body works to repair itself, so, while sometimes scary or disheartening to see her in pain, it sounds like its part of the process. On Monday, she was moved out of critical care to an intermediate care unit. This basically means she still requires a lot of watching, tests, vitals checked, etc, but that the doctors feel she isn't in serious danger. She is also a little more lucid and the pain, while a lot, is a little more tolerable. When she is lucid, we are more letting her decide the direction of conversation, which can last anywhere from 10-30 minutes, depending on how much she wants to tolerate. 'tis The Season
Strangest thing ever. (Ok, not ever, but strangest thing since I woke up today, which was not that long ago.) Guy I met several months ago (I played hostess to him and a bunch of other hooligans for a weekend) shows up at my farm this morning, unannounced, to deliver a bottle of nice bordeaux. We visit for three hours, coffee-ing and sampling various breads I baked in the last few days, denouncing television and microwaves and extolling the virtues of the written word. Never mind that I'm wearing what amounts to pajamas. (If you show up announced, there's a good chance I'll look somewhat less than glamorous. And if you show up announced, there is also a pretty good chance I won't look glamorous. But I will probably wear something other than stretchy pants.) Anyway, it was nice. I was in a wonderful deep slumber when a noise outside my room woke me with a start. To my surprize a light had been turned on outside of the room. Soft footsteps could be heard slowly creeping down the hall. With each step, my heart rate increased. Why did I not just jump out of the bed and go out the window to safety? 2 weeks ago one mf my wrestlers was shot and killed by his stepbrother. His stepbrother was wearing gloves and kicked the shells under the bed and wouldnt call 911 but claimed itas an accident. I use not even care about the military and didn't understand any of it. But I just got married to the greatest guy in the world and was still young. When Bad Goes To Worse

Whats Going On With Steven
Ok so I retract my previous blog about Steven which was on myspace. Studio Time
Well I went back to the studio today now that the holidays are over and I had time to take a break from recording and writing for the new album. How curious that I was once considered an "expert" in pain relief. Physical pain, primarily severe chronic pain, as opposed to severe acute pain! If you need an explanation of the difference, PM me! Today I as late for work...A coworker came over to see if I was still alive. The pain that tears my heart affects me in so many other ways. I HATE STUPID PEOPLE. Many may frown upon that sudden and maddening statement, but it's the damn truth. Worried, Scared And Confused
So last night while I was at work I get a text message from my baby sister telling me she needs to talk to me and to call her in the morning when I get off. So I call her this morning and she tells me that our mother found a lump in her breast and kept it secrect for a few months. She finally went to the doctor and they took some blood and are running tests. The doctor said he didnt think it was a swollen lymp node because if it was it would have went down in size, so I feel like he is leaning towards cancer. Now, I don't have a very good relationship with my mother. Hell, i dont have ANY kind of relationship with my mother. She watched as my father beat the hell out of me and my siblings. She sat and watched my father break my nose when I was 12 andtold me not to get blood on the carpet! She also knew my father was sexually abusing me but refused to do anything about it, saying I was making it up. I honestly dont know how to feel. I'm kinda numb, if that makes any sense at all.

Fighting
My Husband and I are fighting...and here's why: Kevin and I always used to take showers together...I know it sounds creepy but thats what we did. Anyways, we separated in December and go tback together in February...and since then he hasnt wanted to have a shower with me and I know the reason why. It's because of all the weight I have gained, but he denies thats the reason. But it's true, I look horrible! Why to all the other BBWs look so much better than I do? My doctors at the VA are just full of gloom and doom, it seems that I don't just need a liver transplant but now also need kidney transplant. Those of you who know me from talking to me know what kind of person I am, here is your chance to thank a soldier, a worrier, a friend. I'm not one to ask anything of anyone, but if your blood type is A+ won't you consider giving me the "gift of life" by donating a kidney. My options are very limited...total renal shut down, dialysis and death. There is a 7 year waiting list for a kidney unless I find a donor, I can not pay you so it would truely be a gift of life but you medical needs and expences would be covered.

Surprise!!!
Had a surprise last weekend... One of the tanks I had filled with water and was cycling to get ready for some Angelfish suddenly had baby fish appear in it. I have no idea what kind they are or where they came from. I suspect they maybe baby Buenos Aires babies because I "seeded" the tank with water from a tank that had those in them. The eggs must have been in the gravel I vacuumed while transferring the water. Then I had a snail appear in an established tank that has never had anything but the fish that I originally put in several months ago. That one is a real mystery to me. Although I have nearly 20 different species of fish, I have been concentrating on Angelfish. Perhaps I should call my hobby "Immaculate Conception Fishery."

Nice Guys Finish Last And I'm Living Proof
Nice guys always finish last I know it sounds cleche but in my experiance guys like me ALWAYS finish last. Seems that no matter what I do or how hard I try, I always loose the girl. I'm single, been questioned a few times as to why. And well the answer is i'm nice so I loose the girl. When I get close to a girl, in the back of my mind I wonder from time to time if it's worth pursuing a relationship. Chocolate Calories
A good piece of chocolate has about 200 calories. As I enjoy two servings per night, and a few more on weekends, I consume 3500 calories of chocolate in a week, which equals one pound of weight per week.... Therefore.... In the last 7 years, I have had a chocolate calorie intake of about 360 pounds. I weight only 220 pounds, so without chocolate, I would have wasted away to nothing some time ago! I owe my life to chocolate.

What Is Wrong With The Male Species??
Ok so this week was like a freakin tornado for me. I find out that my "friend" was talking behind my back and saying that I am acting like loose cannon. The other day a young person asked me how I felt about being old. I was taken aback, for I do not think of myself as old. Upon seeing my reaction, she was immediately embarrassed, but I explained that it was an interesting question, and I would ponder it, and let her know. Old Age, I decided, is a gift. Scene at Salisbury Millwork, hospital somber By Kathy Chaffin Salisbury Post The mood at Rowan Regional Medical Center was somber Friday as family and friends of two fallen firefighters gathered to console each other. Even those who hadn't heard about the five-alarm fire at Salisbury Millwork could sense something was terribly wrong. Television news vans were parked outside the emergency department, and shaken firefighters, police officers and city officials were going in and out. Many of them avoided the front entrance and used a side door to the left of the security office.
