Hmmmm
So a friend's daughter had her 3rd year birthday party and invited Mara. So naturally I went, because let's face it. Where she goes I go, and besides, I couldnt pass up the opportunity to go to Chuck E. Cheese's. I mean who could? Really? But I digress. Anyway, so the kid's are running around and playing as I go from game to game in an attempt to score them copious amounts of tickets for the big "Cash out" at the end of the day. As I move from one flashing, noise producing machine to the next, I happen to glance over at a little, grey-haired old lady pumping tokens into a machine and something hits me. A revelation that I'd never really thought of before. A correlation that suddenly made PERFECT sense. I sat there and watched her for a minute and my mind wandered to another place where this kind of thing is an extremely common sight. Where little, silver-haired grandmas sit around with tons of "tokens" in a small plastic cup shoving them, one after the other, into the hungry

Drama...?
So...I talked to this guy a coupla times just for the hell of it. ANd all over sudden I get this message from his...gf? wife? ex? "I hope you don't plan on getting involved with (XXX)AKA (XXX). He's not one to stick it out for the long haul!" I found it a little sad that a woman would lower herself down to the point of thinking that having onlinez horny time with her (you name it) would possibly cause me to fall in love with him, possibly want to move in with him, and make me want to make 100 babies out of his baby batter. What would possibly make her think that there would a long haul in prospects?? Ughh...insecurity rears its ugly head... Being that I am married would probably make ALL these things impossible, combined with the fact that it would probably take me more than online horny time with someone to get attached and (or) fall in love with them. Hey Guys and Gals, Just a word or two to let those who care know I and my family are just fine! The eye wall passed right over my house, but by the time it reached my house it had lessened to a cat1. We never lost water or sewage, but I did lose electricity and cell phone service. I justttttttt got back cell phone service today (to my kids ELATED joy) and we're hoping to get electricity back soon. My generator has been picking up the slack until that time comes. I'm working on battery power because I just don't trust plugging in my laptop to the generator so until such time as I get my power back you can expect that I won't be on much. Healing Energies Requested
This is one of my babies, Mystic. Several years ago (before I brought her into my home) she was diagnosed and had surgery for cancer of the mouth of some sort. Unfortunately, It has returned, much worse this time. I don't know what I'm going to do yet. We have her on antibiotics for now. I'm going to take it one day at a time. If you could keep her in your thoughts I'd appreciate it. She's one of my 3 babies and love her to death.

Friendship Comments As of today I wanted to tell all my "True Friends" that I am dropping out of the contest. It was not run fair. Favortism was shown. I so apologize to the SPANKERS!! Im rather pissed off right now and it seems to be a never-ending thing. I am the mother of 7 kids and no im not perfect but I do my best and I have taught them manners and they have discipline and they know right from wrong. They arent perfect but then again the only child that is perfect is one that is strung out on meds cuz their parents cant handle em being children. Thats a whole nother subject tho. So ill get to why im writing this in the first place. 4 of my children are in school. 1 is in 4th grade, 2 in 3rd grade and 1 in 1st grade. As I stated, my children arent perfect but they know right from wrong. In the mornings monday thru friday I get up at 6am, get my kids showered and ready for school. I kiss and hug them all as they walk out the door to catch the bus. They know if they act up there will be consequences when they get home from school. I make sure my kids have assigned seats on the bus in the front due to past problems. In an average week which is 5 school days at leas

21 Weeks And Preterm Labor
So I hit the 21 week Mark, Hopefully i still have alot of weeks to go. This past week i was in the hospital because i started having contractions around 10 min apart then 7 min then around 5 min so i rushed to the hospital and sure enough i was in preterm labor. The same thing that happened with my daughter and in the exact same week. I was scared this was going to happen and it did. They hooked me up to the monitors and watched my contractions and they made me drink like 32 ounces of water thinking that i was dehydrated and that was what was causing it, but they still didnt stop so They took a urine sample to check for any infections to see if that was causing it, but nope no infections either. They gave me brethine shots and iv meds and My contractions were finally stopped and the next morning i was released to go home. I was once again told i am on strict bedrest and was told if they come back to call and ill be given brethine pills to take 24 hours a day. They speed up your heartra

I just got home from my friend Tiffany’s house. She wanted to celebrate our coming together since we’ve all left to college. It was okay. get any more chaotic and fucked up? I show up today for orientation, supposed to be working 4 hours...and instead I get the manager saying "You aren't Van"...excuse me? After talking to me and figuring out I am, in fact, me...he apologizes and says I'm not the person he hired. FUCK YOU Holy shit, so now I find out that due to a "paperwork error" and idiots working in the office, I'm not hired. He interviews me, and says he'll call within 48 hours if he wants me for a seasonal position...wtf? I was told on the phone they wanted me for a part-time position, not seasonal, and I already had it. I wouldn't show up expecting a 4 hour orientation unless I was told to be there for a 4 hour orientation. Something To Laugh At
We all gotta find something to laugh at when our spirits are down, right? Well, for me it's one of the cats here. She's...well, I dunno...farsighted I guess. Her depth perception is off, that's for damn sure. It's funny to see her. There is a gate to keep the dog in the front part of the house, like a child safety gate, in the hall door by the living room. She tries to jump over it, and it's quite satisfactory to me to hear her slam into it and growl. Or sometimes she just misses by 5 feet, and falls to the ground still on the same side she started from. She'll just...jump 10 feet from it, land, and look around curiously as if she's wondering why the damn thing moved. Leaving Y'all For A Short
It's time. Time to leave my precious cave here in ol' Kentucky and move back up north to Indiana. With the advent of the birth of my second granddaughter, there can be no better time. Holidays..
So, it has been brought to my attention that there are only 69 more days until Christmas. Woo f'ing hoo. Bah humbug. My First "blind Date"

Its amazing the power of the internet and the hold it has on peoples lives. I recently left fubar due to the stress and the fact that there is life outside this little boxed screen. I came back, but in my own capacity. I don't find it in me to post a salute and I haven't found myself wanting to do the whole point system again. I came back to support a DJ friend of mine. So now I've wasted my vacation time and hard earned money for nothing. Drove 20 hours to Texas for nothing. Am sitting in this shithole city for nothing!! Well half way down here they called us and said it would be Saturday morning instead, then they called us last night again and Saturday night. Well now it's been pushed all the way til Sunday afternoon. I have to leave Monday morning. I'll basically get to see him for a few hours, so I guess that's better than nothing.

My Future...
In light of the country's current economic situation, I thought it a perfect time to share with you my plight. When I was younger, I had only planned to live to be about sixty-three... sixty-five at the most. Therefore, I really haven't planned too much for my future. I didn't figure I would be around to enjoy it, anyway. With my health not deteriorating as I had envisioned, and with all the medical advances made in the last 20-30 years, I'm in a quandary. Apparently I will live well beyond the age of sixty-five. With the Social Security Administration funds disappearing more and more every day (AND since I haven't put any retirement plan into action), I decided to use my lunch break to investigate my alternatives for my post-retirement years. I drove to Wal-Mart to see if it was possible to get a position as a greeter. Much to my surprise, I was informed that they do not hire retired people. They said that it was actually a program that was started by the children of retired people

Ouchie!!!
Had the MRI today. To do a breast MRI, you have to lay on your stomach on this weird setup, and your boobs go through holes in it and hang down. Because of this, the IV for the contrast has to be put in a hand. Had I known this I would have panicked more. When I was in labor with my son they had to try 6 times to find a good vein to put the IV in. Eventually they used a vein between my fingers or something. At any rate, she tried on my left hand first, and after more than 5 minutes of prodding around she called for help. She felt the vein, but it just wasn't hitting it. She got it, but then lost it. So she had to try the right hand. Still took several tries to get it in.... I have huge bruises on the backs of both of my hands now and they hurt. After they got the IV in and started flushing it, I felt extremely faint. I'm usually fine with needles and blood and such... but I swear I almost passed out. In about 30 seconds there were 4 medical professionals in the room

The Kitty
The kitty in the tree on my right arm is actually from a children's book. Only 1 person ever has recognized it for what it is without me telling them (Jim, you're awesome....and *hot*!) Anyway, before I get sidetracked, the book is called Kitten's First Full Moon. Basically, Kitten sees her first full moon and thinks it's a bowl of milk in the sky. She goes through all sorts of trouble trying to get to it...obviously, that includes climbing a tree and getting stuck. So, as some of you know, I do have a kiddo who is 3. I've been reading him that book since I was pregnant with him. I love it, he loves it. The tattoo has his name added to it. And, now, he tells me stories about his kitten. Last week, we had to "hep" kitten from the tree then take her to the hospital because the dog bit her on the butt. He's creative--takes after his mom that way.

How important is your profile on here? I'd like to think it was very important as its an insight into the person your asking to be your friend.... However, I have also observed that alot of people do not read my profile let alone your name and status, mine clearly states that I am no longer joining fu trains, yet today I have yet again denyed someone due to a train. Friday Stuff...
Yesterday I went tanning and was going to color my hair, dark brown, but then I had an epiphany...why try and do it myself when I have a friend who just graduated cosmetology school, can do it the right way and wants the practice? So hopefully next week! I really need it because in my pictures my hair looks really red...not sure why. I've been sick most the week so my exercise has been reduced significantly but today I will get in at least half an hour. I'm making preparations so I can get back to work before Christmas. :) Oh and last dr. visit I was told that in 4 or 5 months it will be determined whether one side will have to be reclosed because he wasn't 100% thrilled with the how the incision had healed. A thing in my room The more I think about, the more real it seems. 3 years ago, I was asleep in my bedroom (I was alone in my apartment). Suddenly, I woke up and saw neon blue light to the left of me, and a dark figure that looked like Darth Vader, or Death (I couldn't see the face)walking around my bed in my direction. Lots To Be Thankful For
As I sit in a cool room secluded in the mountains of Afghanistan, despite having some "close calls" with life and a chaotic past couple of weeks, I'm more than grateful to be in this position. Thanksgiving And Kids.
First off, hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! If you want left-overs, they're mostly on the top shelf but I did hide the stuffing on the bottom shelf. That being said, I'm glad THIS holiday is over with. I barely ate. My mum showed up the night before and started an arguement. She then made no attempt to meet the "new girl". I barely ate. All went well at the hospital, here I was a nervous wreck over it lol They put the Picc in (long catheter/IV inside my arm into my chest) its running from my right arm into my chest, nurse is coming over and antibiotics are being delivered as well. Now...finally...I think im gonna get better, so...happy. I just wanna get back 100% hopefully one more surgery, the infectious disease doc, recommended taking the hardware out, fusing the bone back together, then once it heals, put my arm in a hard cast, then put another Picc in, to stream more strong antibiotics into my body, of course I will have to do physical therapy, but thats way down the road still, I know i'm staying positive about all this, and to hear the nurse Jenny today say to me, we will get u better and back to normal reassures me, they will do their hardest to make it happen. Jack Daniels Christmas Cookies Ingredients: 1 cup of water Lemon juice 1 tsp baking soda 4 large eggs 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of nuts 1 tsp salt 2 cups of dried fruit 1 cup of brown sugar 1 cup Jack Daniels Whiskey 1. We Miss You Phoenix
as many of you know by reading her last blog. Phoenix just got tired of the drama and was so burned out. Starting Treatment
I met with the radiation dr last week and here is what my treatment will look like. This Monday I have a CT scan to see if the cancer has spread. On Tuesday I go in to be Tattooed with the marks i'll need for my radiation. On Thursday I meet with the Chemo dr. So by Monday I will be doing radiation M-F for 15 minutes a pop and having chemo once a week for 3 hours. This will go on for 8 weeks...or until it's gone. They are trying to get it to shrink without surgery. I will being staying with family in ID during this 8 weeks and from the side effects of the radiation alone I don't foresee myself being able to get online much, if at all. Why can't things in life go right? I sit and pray to God almost every night. I am not perfect at all, I am not insane, but some things I do it seems insanity is to blame. I love who I am but, confused who I am. Why do I make things so hard for myself, damn. Trying to be this to this person and this to that is so hard, it seems like being me nobody has regard. It hurts to be done this way by strangers of course, but when it is your family that hurt you it is so much worse. I do have a friend who is my night in shining armor, he treats me like a person and for that I give him all honor. We dont live close, we live so far apart but you know what, he is so good to me that he still has my heart. He never judges me for maybe a mistake that I made, he is the best friend on earth God could have ever made. He takes me as I am and doesnt tell me who to be, he let's me live my life for God, my kids and and for me.

Ice Storm
It seems like my power will be out a few more days, at the least... Downed trees everywhere, taking wires with them, tearing services off houses, snapping utility poles... Wild scene... Home is out, office is out, over 200 schools closed, roads closed, 150,000 people without power in NH, utility crews from as far away as Maryland, Michigan, and Ohio (We won't let the Ohio crews near much) :P A few neighbors had their houses hit and damaged, a few cars, and one boat totalled... Wild ride... Power went out at 11PM Thursday, and who knows when it will be back... They're hoping to have everyone back on by Christmas... Here We Go
I will be at the hospital in the A.M. with my sister while my mother has a heart catherization to check her quad-bypass and her aortic bypass. Update
So I went to my primary doctor this morning and she thinks I have internal bleeding =( My iron/hemiglobin is that of a cancer patient. Its supposed to be 12-15 and I'm down at 8. So, I am off work 2 more days, and then Monday I get to go have a *coughs*colonoscopy*coughs* Hopefully they can figure out wtf is wrong with me. You can't imagine how tired I am. Showering this morning took a lot of work, and forget about playing with my kids. Saturday is my extended family's big Christmas shindig before my brother heads back to the army, and I'll be the one laying on the couch like a lump of coal.

So, simply because I was using them today, this little bit of "YAY" hit me... In November and March, there is a large book distributor that has a warehouse sale. Now a lot of the stuff it older, and outdated reference materials, but every once in a while there are some gems. I am mad that they did away with the $.50 fiction table and $1 hardcovers, but I digress. I found perhaps the greatest thing there in November... wrapped in shrinkwrap, a 3 volume set of conversion tables!!! LC-Dewey; Dewey-LC; and Subject Headings!! Now, I expected that since there were 3 volumes, and therefore 3 books, with NO price, I would have been charged the $20 for 3 price that they had listed for the more expensive books... NO!! They counted it as 1 book...lumped it with 2 other paperbacks...and I got charged the $5 for 3 price for the cheap-os!!!! I looked it up...if I bought these new (now they are 5 years old, but most of this info doesn't change)... it would have cost me over $80 -- A V

Chocolate Mint Cake
Great Holiday Dessert Mint Chocolate Cake CAKE: 1 cup butter 1/4 cup Cocoa 2 cup flour 1 1/2 cup Brown sugar (packed) 1 tsp. Baking soda 1 cup Peppermint schnapps 2 Eggs; beaten lightly 1/2 cup Sweetened condensed milk Frosting: 3 cup powdered sugar. 2 tbsp. butter, softened 1/2 cup Sweetened condensed milk 1/4 cup Peppermint schnapps Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 10x15 pan. Melt butter; add cocoa; stir and set aside. In large bowl mix flour, sugar, baking soda, peppermint schnapps and butter mixture; beat well. Add eggs and sweetened condensed milk; beat 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes. FROSTING: Beat all ingredients together well; spread over cake.

So, I have a photo posted here which shows me nursing my son. You can barely see anything of my breast, but it is pretty obvious what I am doing. Someone thought they should comment on it, saying "omfg that is sick and right on cam too". I deleted the comment but I am still upset about it, and to top it all off that person requested that I add them as a friend! Um, no, you don't get to call me sick and then be my friend. WTF? Ez Rate Folders.....not
I have a short but sweet rant to get off my chest. You people with your so-called EZ rate folders. The point of the ez rate folder is to be able to get through the pics fast. Too many times I have gone to someones folders only to find that the so-called ez rate folder is full of pics all different sizes!! I then have to scroll up and down to get to the cherries to rate. If you are going to advertise that you have EZ rates, then for GAWDS sake, upload only thumbnails or at the VERY least, pics that are all the exact same size! For cryinoutloud!! LOL ok done seeee, it was short. lol

Boiling Over
I drove to my parents' house this morning. My brother's birthday is today. Happy birthday, bro. He and his wife and his two awesome labs came to visit, I drove in from the Land of Cleave. Wow what a Chirstmas. I had a Great time with my Family. The kids and I toughed it out without Tony. Well Tony stopped drinking Nov.23rd. and when he sobered up he realized what he was about to loose and he could not stop thinking bout me and the kids. He said he would wake up thinking about me.
