Putting Together A Band
So I was watching the news last night. They were talking to Michelle Kwan, Olympic figure skating Medalist. At one point they asked her, "How was the transition out of the skating world?" She said something that hit kinda close to home for me. Kwan said something like, "Going from years of a set schedule, with practice, school and competitions. To waking up one morning and realizing that I don't have anything to do today." She continued with, "I had a bit of an identity crisis, and it took me a while before I finally decided what I wanted to do with my life." I'm just glad to see that even people that have already found success still struggle with their own identity, just like me :D

Hows It Goin??
On halloween night I got into a really bad car wreck. We flipped the car 1 1/2 times. We had to go to the hospital and get some x-rays done. We both are ok, but we are really really sore right now. My neck and my knee are killing me. They gave me some pain killers for it but it seems like their not doing anything at all for me. The insurance company called. The girl I was riding with has full coverage so all my bills are taking care of and I also will be getting up to $1000.00 for pain and suffering. That is fucking awesome. I got to go to my first Anime Convention. It was in Nashville, and it was soooooo much fun! I strive to get out and see what others feel today. It begins with an infusion into the bloodstream of the city. I let the random turbulence of the traffic help decide where to go. I know its the overly used lame statement but it kinda puts into perspective something important. I was thinking back to when i was younger and how everything i did was a grand adventure. Back when then we would walk all the way from Irvine to the tustin market place. It would take hours and we would go through ditches and sewers and fields. This job really sucks for me at the moment. I can't stand it. It's getting harder and harder to keep my mouth shut. Today, before 9:00 am, the Project Manager mouthed off to our CO, who does not have any patience. Why can't civilian contractor employees understand that when a CO directs you to do something, you either better do it or keep your mouth shut? If he's wrong and you shouldn't do what he is telling you, then you keep your mouth shut and come up with a game plan to prove he's wrong. I have never served in the military, but I'm smart enough to know that when a CO tells you something, you don't give them any lip. What's really crazy is that this PM has served in the Navy. He should know better. ARRGGHHHH! I believe I am going to be offered a career position with a security firm as a contracts administrator. Ok,I 've never actually written a blog before,and I'm basically just doing it because I well I really don't know why.I just got off the phon with my mom,She and my Daughter had just gotton back from the Dr's where my daughter has undergone more testing(yes my mom has custody of my daughter long story,please don't judge me on that,it really the best place for her)(and it's a long story that expands my lifetime)back to the subject,My daughter has previously been diagnosed as having ADHD,no big deal right plenty of people with ADHD go on to live productive lives,and then on top of that was diagnosed with mild autism.Oh she's going to be 12 in Dec,Developmentaly she act's like she's 5-6 yrs old.Is in the "6th grd",but doing 2nd grd work.She is in a special school,will never attend normal school again...She is now diagnosed as being Mentaly Retarded,not developmentaly disabled...for the rest of her life she will need adult supervision,no proms no drivers licsense and it's breaking my heart.

I sit here comparing notes on "what I want to be when I grow up" from when I was a kid, and find myself notching yet another one from the list. I went grocery shopping recently while not being altogether sure that course of action was a wise one. Its been a long weird trip for me . I went from a strung out gutter punk to someone now with a job . One that is legitiamate , and one that I can actually say I am glad to have . Sure it doesent beat the money I used to make , but its worth it . No longer do I have to worry about jail . Day 1 " dad, i want to join band, sign up is next week" i felt the headache coming. "i either want to do drums or the trombone" my scalp is getting itchy.
