SEXY, SEXY POLAR BEARS!!!

The country is finally realizing that global warming is not an issue that is coming...it's here, and has devastating consequences. we all have the responsibility to do something about it. start here. go to the environmental action website and use the forms there to send emails to people and companies that can make changes.

The big focus this spring is centered on getting the polar bear listed on the endangered species list.

This listing would be a historic turning point in our fight to stop global warming. Listing the bear would allow us to use provisions of the law to help limit CO2 emissions.

Our next step is to enlist some help. Coca-Cola has used the polar bear in its advertising for ages, and it's time they used their clout to help protect the bear.

we're in deep shit....

CHERRY FRIENDS...GLOBAL WARMING IS SERIOUS. GO TO http://www.climatecrisis.net take action... Thanks in part to the over 1,500 of you who sent emails to your Representative, a bill to cut subsidies to the oil and gas industry is picking up a lot of steam - already over 190 representatives have co-sponsored the bill, and we expect a vote on it today. This bill is a huge step forward in our fight to stop global warming. Not only does it strip away oil & gas subsidies, it puts much needed money into alternative fuel programs, which will go a long way towards getting us off of oil. If you haven't done so, please take a moment right now to send your representative an email, and urge them to support this bill. Simply click on the link below or paste it into your browser: http://www.environmental-action.org/gw.asp?id=2095&id4=ES If we're going to stop global warming, we're going to have to tackle the issue from many angles. Last week, we began our effort to list the polar bear on the endangered species list, and we'll continue that next week. Right now, however, Congress needs to hear that we support their effort. This bill is one of the most far-sighted pieces of legislation to come out of Congress in years, if not decades. It sets up better limits on offshore drilling, provides needed resources for alternative energy research and development, and sets out goals for energy efficiency. If this bill is going to pass, our representatives need to hear from us, so please take a moment right now to send your representative a message: http://www.environmental-action.org/gw.asp?id=2095&id4=ES And if you've already sent a message, please forward this message to friends and family, and help us get the word out there. Thanks for all your work. Sincerely, Dan Stafford Environmental Action Organizer DanS@environmental-action.org http://www.environmental-action.org
