The Joys Of Home Repair
For those of you that don't know what's been going on, I had to have my house re-wired electrically. The house was built in 1940 and I think most of the wiring was original to the house, it was on 100amp service with no ground wires. It's been converted to 200amp service with grounds...It started yesterday morning about 915am and they quit about 7pm last night, but in the process...was unable to rehook my fridge/freezer to electicity (major bummer) Lost a half gallon of Blue Bell chocolate ice cream (the best) and of course the Klondike Bars...and other assorted perishables. That was thanks to Entergy, the power company here, that wouldn't do an emergency for the one outlet, they refused, said they need 3 days notice to grant it. That's BULL!!! They came back this morning at 9am to finish, they finally finished at almost 4pm...I'm so glad it's done and over with. Now if I only had Bob Vila...lol

When It Rains, It Pours!
First off, thank you again for all of the outpouring of support and genuine concern for my father! First it was my son, who is improving each day, and now this. He is a "cantankerous" 80 year old. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning with a temperture of 105, couldn't stand because of cellulites in the leg in which he had a knee replacement 4 years ago and would NOT allow the ambulance to be called. So, my two younger brothers got him there. To make a long story short, he also had elevated BP, sugar levels and they found blood poisoning, among a few other things. So, today, they will remove the artificial knee, clean out the joint and replace it with a temporary joint. The utmost concern are the infections he has and to try to remedy those. This will be quite a drawn out affair, but at least he is in very capable hands. Thank you again for all the love and concern you have shown!

On My Mind
I am so tired of feeling like I have to constantly fight to keep the girl that I love with all my heart. Its tearin me up and I have no idea what to do about it. I cant seem to get thru to her that I love her with all my being and at times I wonder if she feels the same way. Anybody that hits on me, they are told right upfront to read my profile cause it says that I am happily taken. Sometimes it is just too much for me to deal with. I would say that I get bored at work waiting for calls to come in but my mommy told me that only boring people get bored DEAMMIT!!! My Cookbook
2 sticks Butter (Melted) 1/2 Lb. Graham Cracker Crumbs 1 Lb. Powdered sugar 1 large can coconut(more or less to taste) 1 Cup chopped nuts (I prefer pecans) 1/2 cup Peanut Butter 1 TBSP Vanilla extract Mix all ingredients together. Form into balls. set aside. In a double boiler, melt 1/2 cake parafin wax and 1 bag of chocolate chips. When chocolate and parafin is melted together, roll candy balls in chocolate and set on platter covered with wax paper. Enjoy! 2 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour 1 1/2 Cup Sugar 2 TBSP Cocoa 1 Tsp. Salt 1 Tsp. Baking Soda 2 Eggs 1/2 Cup Oil 1 Cup Buttermilk 2 Oz. Red Food Coloring (May use other colors) 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract Place all dry ingredients in bowl. Blend eggs with fork. Add oil and blend again. Add this mixture to dry ingredients and mix with wire whisk until smooth. Blend in food coloring vanilla and buttermilk. Bake at 350 degrees for around 30 minutes. ICING 1/2 Stick Butter 8 Oz. Cream Cheese (Softened) 1

Once you activate the cherry bomb, you click on someone's picture folder. The easiest way to get there is to click on their profile pic In my opinion. It will have a link at the top, center that will say Cherry bomb this person. Click that, and it will tell you how many points you both got. Gone For A Week

I think it's time I take a break from Cherry Tap. At this point I can't say if it'll be a couple days, a week or longer. I can say I am not completely leaving Cherry Tap just taking a very much needed step back and a break. My reasons for this are very simple.. I joined CT to meet and interact with other "adults". To get away from the everyday stress and BS of life, CT was that for me until lately. When I am here and more stressed because all I see is nothing but drama everywhere.. For My Daughter....
My daughter again....found out that a tumor near her brain stem has grown back! The other that was removed in 2000, with NO complications, was the size of a nickel, and now it is the size of a quarter! That surgery went well, she was a miracle! June 8th.... Worst Day Of The Year
If you've known me for awhile you've seen how i am every june 8th and if you're close to me you know why i hate this day. so for those of you who care but arent close and havent really known me very long here's a brief explaination of why this day is horrible for me. on the day of june 8th back in 1999 i had a tragic event accur in my life. i was in New Orleans at a Baskin Robins at 1pm when i fell to the ground in the blink of eye from a pain in my chest that felt like a heart attack. it only lasted a few seconds, i didnt know why but i felt like something was wrong but i didnt know what. How My Life Is Going!!!
So I had my second daughter September 10th. She is so beautiful. We named her Haley Marie. My other daughter which is 4 1/2 loves her so much. She can't wait til she can play and all. Im actually excited having two girls. Don't have to buy new toys or clothes..LOL Im done having kids though. I had to have another c section so very painful again so im done. My first one was worse bec I was in labor for 14 hours then had to have a c section. Im enjoying life though now and happy with the way everything is going. Im still not talking to my oldest sister and I have tried but she doesn't care. Thats fine with me. She wants to be like this then I don't have to help her clean her apt anymore or hear all the problems she has. Since I have been asked a few times I feel I should post the answer here..its a lot easier my pics are about 2 years old..I don't have any newer ones since then.. the reason being I had a very bad experience with a stalker. i had a weird dream that there were spiders all around my house and i was trying to kill them all and i couldnt get away! and then after that i had a dream i was driving and i made and wrong turn and went off a cliff all in the same night! lol
