To Recap The happening: " Yes even though Im in the computer biz and I help so many people avoid infections and spyware I was just a victim of being ripped off on the internet. Luckily I was up late chatting when I noticed a Email pop on my Yahoo that said my account login information enclosed. I go to read the email and it said 29.99 Euros were deducted from my Paypal account. Sure enough 2 seconds later I get a paypal notice that a transaction took place. Still being wary I didnt click any links in the email and I hand-typed www.paypal.com and checked my account. Sure enough the motherfockers took every last penny in my Paypal. If it weren't for the fact the Credit card I used was expired and the bank account was closed that was attached to this paypal account I could have been wiped out. Time
So today in our household was a big day! My one and only child got up this morning before the crack of dawn 5:00am and then woke her mother up at 5:30am. If you haven't guessed by now it was the first day of school and we are hitting one of those milestones. She started high school this morning. Let me tell you this morning didn't sail very smoothly either. She lost her schedule and it took an hour to find so she was hurried and only took 4 bites of her breakfast. We found the schedule as her ride honked and I got a quick kiss and off she went. I went to get her after school and she seemed a different kid. Reality for her set in that it was just another school and she liked some of her classes and then she hates others. Normal I know. Made me think of the days when I walked her to kindergarten and she seemed so big then and now it is even more so.

Hurricane
ok, so we have gustav or however ya spelled it, coming for the gulf.predicted landfall is like wednesday at best. its barely a hurricane right now and everyone is heading out already. online reservations are nonexistant everywhere! its only friday!!!! everyone is just looking for a good reason to run for the laborday weekend right... the store down the street looked like the end of the world! i had to take 4th choice on cigs and the cooler was almost empty in drinks!!!! my prediction is it heads west and keeps right on for mexico...its already looking like its gonna hit cancun! have a nice holiday weekend!

Mom Is Coming Home!

Surgery
Well I had the second part done on my lower back. Things didn't go so well. Surgeon hit a spot on my spine and caused me to have a spinal headache within 3 seconds!!! It's worse than a migraine!!! So far nothing is helping with the pain but I'm trying to stay hopeful....please continue to keep me in your thoughts and prayers!! Monday night, my dad woke up with terrible pain in his ankle and foot. My mom saw him jump out of bed (which is very bad with his BP) so she followed him towards the bathroom. Yesterday, I got really sick at work. Had trouble breathing and when I did, it hurt like hell. My boss let me off work early and since it was so hard to drive home, I went to the ER. The doctor on duty said that I had broncitis and gave me scrips for anti-biotics and cough syrup. I thought that I wouldn't be able to get them filled until today but thankfully Walgreen's pharmacy is open 24/7! I Don't Understand
I don't understand why humans have a need to control other humans. Why did this trait evolve in the human species ? I am close to 35 years old now and I was raised a totally different way than the way things go today. I was rather upset when I listened to Hillary Clinton say it takes a village to raise a child until I thought more about the statement. ber when I was being brought up by my Grandparents in the 80's and early 90's it was a totally different time. Damned People... I asked two different people from work to give me letters of reference for a scholarship I wanted to apply for.. As far as I can remeber.. its Due tomorrow, and Neither of them have turned up with a letter.. I did keep up with each of them, almost daily. One was a manager, the other just a fellow co-worker, and every time I saw them, I asked about said letter.. I was told "I haven't forgot you" from Trent, and "I'm off tomorrow I'll do it then, I Promise" by Nikki.. Yea.. Right.. Well, there are some basic HTML codes that I was able to find online that helped me personalize my About Me section a bit more - just a few font changes, color, adding in links, etc. I don't really want some big flashy profile. I think those distract and take away from what I really want to read. People don't seem as willing to actually post *real information* about themselves. They'd rather just link to a million sites with big graphics that look terrible in my opinion. Well, that's just another day of learning for me. My Drunken Code-fu Is Tight
I used to make mead. Srsly! It's a fun little hobby, easy once you get the hang of it, and is great for gift giving and artistry. Store-bought mead is very, very sketchy. Probably not for you Brit's though.Here's an "ad hoc" recipe for mead-like goodness in a pinch.- 2 quart cooking pan, stainless steel preferably- 1 stove- 3 lbs. honey (I guess that's about 1.5 kg of honey)- 2 to 3 cups of scotch or whiskeyRoughly, 1 part whiskey to 3 parts honey. Obviously I like a little more scotch than that...Pour in the scotch and honey. Put on a low heat, above 185 degrees F (85 degrees C) but below boiling. Wait about 20 minutes and stir it occasionally.The heating is something you MUST pay attention to. This is primarily for two reasons:1) If you boil honey for too long you'll change the "flavor" of it. Honey is a delicate flavor. It can get a slightly burnt taste to it even though it remains liquid.2) As I found out today, do NOT boil honey and scotch. Just don't do it. Especially do not cove

Well Well, it has been a few days since I lost wrote I understand, but to be quite honest there is not much to explain. The past week has actually been pretty quiet and uneventful, although I say this in each of my chapters. I have been watching several movies lately, I guess that I just get tired of being on computers 18-20 hours a day, but I suppose it is not as bad as when I am working. When I was working for TWC/RR (Time Warner Cable, RoadRunner), I worked anywhere from 8-14 hours, than came home only to be performing more work on the computer, get just an hour or so sleep and then go back for another 8-14 hour shift. Just Thinking
I'm not really sure what I want to say here. I am not happy today and it feels like no one gives a f*ck. But then again, why should they? My mood is solely up to me and I shouldn't expect people to read my mind or care for that matter. Expectations generally only cause disappointment, which I am far too familiar with. In the last few months I have opened myself up to a couple of people and I'm beginning to believe it was a mistake. I do not like being hurt and when I keep my feelings guarded I don't get hurt. On the other hand, if we don't open up to people, we very well could miss out on a very special connection with someone. I believe my biggest mistake is jumping in with both feet. I tend to be very passionate in everything, happiness, anger, excitement, etc. But its impossible for me not to, it's who I am. I am also very compassionate and I don't feel like it is returned to me. I just need to stop thinking and stop caring. It probably won't matter in a year anyway
