Auto Pilot!
Okay. I've only just now processed the fact that I'm hungry. I was at work for approximately fourteen hours today, which isn't really a great deal of time, but I was so busy that I never got around to eating anything. I didn't even have breakfast or a snack. It didn't even dawn on me during the day, as I've been so terribly busy. Of course, I've been a mindless bit of baggage, going on auto pilot, taking call after call after call after call. I even managed to take several calls at once steadily throughout the day, alternately placing each on hold to collect more information and to assure 'em that I had not forgotten about their respective concerns. Then there's the Judge's office. It seems as if the staff is completely incapable of rescinding a warrant before hit confirmations and the like. I don't even want to think about the amount of teletypes I sent to various agencies. Seriously. I spent hours pouring over teletypes while maintaining at least five forms of traf

Women Drivers
This morning on the Interstate, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a brand new Cadillac doing 65 mph with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner. I looked away for a couple seconds! And when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup. As a man, I don't scare easily. But she scared me so much; I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the donut out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my cell phone away from my ear which fell into the coffee between my legs, splashed and burned Big Jim and the Twins, ruined the damn phone, soaked my trousers & disconnected an important call. Ok, so I am looking for art work. Not just any art work but something extremely creative. What I am doing is taking ideas and art work (computer art is welcome too) to airbrush on my 2007 Harley Fatboy. So you can see how important this is to me. After I get the pics in I will review them and choose a few that I like most. The person responsible for creating the final pic that I end up using on my bike will have their name published in the international mag that the bike is posted in. So Called Friends...
I feel kind of dumb right now. And blind to the whole matter... Things were fine and dandy up until the other day when I came back from the Bahamas... I wasn't even off the cruise ship for more then 3 minutes when my boyfriend told me to find someone else... Well my so called friend had been talking to him behind my back.. She said she likes him, and according to her he likes her and loves her. I don't get that one bit how someone can say they love you then turn around and say they love your friend? Now if she were a friend she wouldn't have done this to me. He also told her that out of habit he said he loved me because he was used to it.... That just about killed me when I heard ALL of that and then some...I'm pretty much sure I'm failing at everything since I can't do a damn thing right :/

Personal Mussings
I get days sometimes longer that I will end up wondering whats the point. Why am I doing the same thing everyday to face the same obstacles and issues knowing I will be doing that again next week too. Today I was throwing Christmas stock around..(ya I know isnt it a bitch?) thinking my God I am doing this again already? So, Tuesday I went to see my family doctor to get some scripts refilled and mentioned to him my moods. Being extremely happy one minute, so mad I could murder someone without an ounce of guilt, then remorse for being a bitch. He is well aware of my past and ongoing battle with depression and aware of my past suicide attempts. Since these "moods" don't occur everyday, he gave me something to take "as needed for nerves",Buspirone 15mg 1/2 to 1 tablet twice daily. This is some serious stuff. Bada Bing Dj Schedule June 1 - 7 (and Note On Changes During Vacation)
Hey Everyone – YAY for me … Finally getting the DJ Schedule out on time lmao! We have some changes happening starting at the end of this week we want to make you aware of. Toward the end of this week, half of the dj staff are going on vacation (myself included). Although we will still be popping into the room most nights for a little bit of time to say hi – we wont be Djing – that leaves us short on DJ staff. So for the duration of these vacation periods, the primary DJs at Bada will be Pet and Darth and the Live DJ time will begin later, at 10pm est, and continue through the night as usual. When we return, our normal 7-8pm est start time will resume. We will also be off a night completely each week to give Pet and Darth a break. Pet is also vacationing some on her time off with us so she may be out a couple nights as well. This new schedule of Bada time begins June 6 (this Saturday) and lasts through June 21. An Update
I just though I would update everyone on what is going on in my life at the moment. I find it slightly funny that I feel the need to blog amout such mundane things, but as I know that people will ask, here it is. I've been in the hospital for the past couple of days and as it turns out those really bad stomach/side pains I was having last week were being caused by a kidney infection. Alannah REALLLLLLY doesn't like taking her medicine. She started out on amoxicillin but it gave her a rash (at least, I'm hoping that's what caused it, because otherwise I'm stumped) so we got another RX called in. Gave her the first dose just now and well... she hates me now. I think it's a combination of waking up every hour, waking up too early, and mommy trying to kill her by giving her medicine that will make her feel better. I'm soooooooo mean. anyways. Hoping that she does better tonight since I *have* to go back to work tomorrow. I completely blanked that I have two more stores and not just the one. I don't really want to go to my store Friday, but oh well. Called out twice this week and they pulled me out of a third. In other news... stress relief is needed. Badly.

My Boxer Gretchen
As some of you know, I lost my Boxer Mercedes last year to Canine Lymphoma which is Cancer throughout her lypmh glands. It was aggressive and took her within 6 months. Recently, her sister Gretchen had a lump on her leg, they took a sample and said it was Cancer. She is young and strong enough for the surgery so they removed the lump from her leg. They sent it out to be tested and it was discovered that the Cancer had spread to the surrounding tissue which means there was no clean tissue and we dont know how far the Cancer has gone. She is 7 and acts like a puppy...we are not sure when the Cancer will show up again or how soon but I am somewhat happy that it is not as aggressive as what Mercedes has. So I am keeping my fingers crossed and I am going to make the most of my time with her now that I have a heads up on what may come.

I guess there are several reasons to complain about school. So much time crammed into 3 days. So many things I need for learning not being in stock. So many heavy things to carry up and down stairs. Sandy
As we grow up we go into and out of groups of friends. Some diverge because of different interests when we reach maturity. Some never reach maturity and are left behind. We had a group of about 15 that managed to stay together and only drifted apart because of marriage and children. With the children beginning to go on their own we began to come back together again about 5 or 6 years ago and it was just like we had only separated the night before. Sandy was our cheer leader, our surrogate mom and our shoulder to cry on. Sadly, I received a shock this week when I found out sandy had died of a brain anuerism on Tuesday of this week. She passed quickly the doctors said because she was on blood thinner meds and they could not stop the bleeding in time. Just like always sandy is the leader of our group. Take care sandy you will be missed but we'll get together again.
