So yesterday, i tried a different product to fix a water leak. I was looking for a temporary fix until the weekend was over so I could have more time to mess with it. I had about a 1/4 inch hole in one of my drain pipes in the wall thats connected for the kitchen sink and a bathroom sink. The pipe is all threaded and metal with the exception of a little pvc near the actual sinks. After seeing the results of this product, I might have found a permanent fix and not have to change out all the piping which would be extremely difficult to get to. Hanging Up The Sticks For A While
A week ago Saturday I really hurt my wrists. It started at work a few days before and on Saturday during my show I actually heard a snap from my right cymbal hand wrist. I actually finished the show. I reconized it right away as a tendon injury. Lucky for me I have no future gigs for a while and both bands are on hold. So Wednesday I packed up all 14 drums and put them away for 4-6 weeks. They are all stacked in my corner and it hurts to see them there not set up. As soon asthe numbness and pain let up I will be back at as I have done for over 30 years. Wow !! What an emotional life-altering rollercoaster it's been in my first 3 months. Chaos has reigned supreme in my world as of late. Bringing with it renewed fears ,regrets,wishes,hopes and dreams. Wow, it’s amazing what 13 hours of sleep will do for you. It’s always nice after a 24 hour day. Started off in SC, finishing up paper work with the new company then heading to the airport to start the trip. Ran into a rather “annoying” person at the rental car return but I refused to let her ruin my day since it’s not my fault she’s a bitch. Did the plane hops and everything went good. I didn’t realize the dollar was down on the Euro so much, I had to change some money to eat in at the airport in Amsterdam and wow! From what I am experiencing myself and what I have heard from my energyworker friends, we are all having problems right now! I have been exhausted for about 4 to 6 weeks now and it has been difficult to keep my energy stores up. I'm drawing on Universal Energy at least once, sometimes more, each day. These pictures are of one Hanging Tree that is located close to Cross lake off of Blanchard Road. There is also another tree that is said to be on Lakeshore Drive. According to legend at the Lakeshore Drive tree, it is where an old plantation owner hung his slaves that did something wrong. Not only would he hang them, but he would also burn them and torture them as they were dying (thanks to Jessica for this info). Last night I went to see Hank III, and I was totally stoked to do so. I love his country stuff, because he sounds like his grandpa. The show started with a band called Eick Joad and the Power of Country. The like truck driving songs, but weren't half bad. Not good enough to make me want to buy their stuff, but not o bad that I wanted to stick a straw in my ear. Hannibal Rising Review
I saw the movie today with my husband, mom, and brother, and it was KICKASS!!!! It deviated slightly from the book, [which I read as soon as I heard about the movie], like at the beginning, Hannibal when he is at the orphanage, never escaped the basement, but the guy he stabbed with the fork took him into his shed and was going to beat him, and he almost did until Hannibal's Uncle came and got him. In the movie, Hannibal walked to his uncle's castle and his uncle's wife said he passed away a year before, but in the book, he was picked up by his uncle and he died a year after Hannibal moved in. But for the most part it stuck to the book, and the movie was exactly how I pictured it in my head reading the book, which was cool. They left one crucial part out near the end, one of the ways Hannibal found a war criminal was they stole paintings from his family's castle and sold them on the black market, and he tracked Grentz down by that method. But I give this film 2 thumbs up,

Just a lil something I wrote about in my blog on myspace.. about my not so healthy obsession with Dr. Lecter. Hope you don't think I'm crazy after reading it LOL... :) Dayna I have been obsessed with Hannibal Lecter since I was 11 years old, when Silence of the Lambs was released (1991). I know that's probably one of the strangest things you've ever heard, yet still it's the truth. My mother was totally against me watching the movie at such a young age but I demanded she let me, that I could handle it. Instead of feeling frightened by Lecter (more by Buffalo Bill than anyone else and Dr. Chilton's horrendous taste in wardrobe and cheap pick ups) I found myself drawn to Lecter. Even at 11 years old, understanding that this fictitious character must have had something horrible happen to him to turn him into the "monster" he became. I found something intriquing in his speech, in his courtesy to those who were courteous to him. Although at 11, I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was I liked

I went and seen the Hannah Montana movie tonight. (ok, go ahead and laugh a bit, I will wait) You better now? Are you checking to make sure you read that right? Yes, I did go see Hannah Montana. I have two little girls, cut me a break. They loved it. But that was to be expected I guess. Jalen was dancing along a bit. And as sad as it sound I found myself singing along a bit. Very sad I know. But remember I have two girls who are 5 (soon to be 6) and a 7 year old. And they love Hannah Montana, so I have been overly exposed to the music. Yay me!! So how is everyone doing? I am doing great, enjoying a tiny break in the weather here in AZ, but looks like today s going to be a warm one again. We had an AWESOME weekend, we had company in from out of town and really enjoyed the time with them, just a bit short is all. Had friends over for dinner on Friday to meet our company and last nigth we went to dinner at Pinnacle Peak Patio and that was very nice and oh too much to eat. Kind of had an early celebration for my sons 21st bday which is coming up. Today it is FOOTBALL and I am afraid I did not pick too well. Actually I had my picks in and I let someone else influence me into making a few changes and I am not sure that is so wise, but oh well nothing I can do now. I was about in the middle of the pool before this week started, but now sure where I will end up after today. Has anyone ever been so scared to be happy that they do anything to make there partner unhappy as well as your self to the point you drive them away on purpose. I hope you are having a splendid day! I have already been to work and done my three mile walk and boy was it hot out there. We are still having 100 degree days. Yesterday we did our workout and walk, it is nice to do it and get the blood pumping. Today I need that as I am dragging a bit. I was up until 11:30 and then up at 5 AM, ugh, I see a nice nap in my afternoon today :) So everyone knows what a tv head I am and I am excited that the new seasons are on and I have been watching them. You know how sometimes in life a very happy and touching memory comes back to you? I just had one. Anyone that knows me knows my mother and I almost never got along but I remeber as a child when we were poor she learned how to make play-doh for me. And she made batch after batch for the longest time. How odd is it that I found happiness with one woman who lives not far away from me? She's beautiful, smart, funny, and a wonderful mother. Hello everyone, well whomever reads this. LOL My weekend was very nice, but hectic. I started it, with a trip to the zoo. My hubby, and I went with our youngest, Collin's class. We were an hour behind schedule after we were separated from the bus. Bummer. But we made it there and I chaperoned 5 little wild boys. Fun! Then, Saturday was cleaning day. I am very happy. My uncle hasn't been able to ingest any food or liquid in over two weeks. He has been fed through I.V.s Well, today he had some broth and jello and was able to hold it down. Last night I went to meet David in Greensboro to pick him up and bring him home. I was so happy to see him. But not long after us getting home my tummy meds kicked in. Good morning everyone. I am playing hookie today. Well, in a way not. I have a urinary tract infection, so I do not even want to go to class. Hope that wasn't too much info. LOL! Well, I thought I would share with you the latest happenings in the last few days. We spent the weekend in Spruce Pine, and stayed in Little Switzerland's Resort and Chalet over night. The drive up was beautiful. I took a ton of pix, off the Blue Ridge Parkway. I got out several times, just like the other photographers, and took some beautiful pix. I promise to post some later. We went to a gem mine the first day, and it was fun. My hands almost froze off. We got the boys each a bucket of mixed gems. They both had some both had some nice size emeralds, garnet and amethyst that could have been cut, and polished. But the price to do this was a bit steep. Well, last night we had a big halloween party! I love Halloween!! We all met up at this really trendy pub and freaked everyone out with our costumes. But there must have been a full moon or something cos we were sat by the door and in the space of like half an hour we saw 4 fights!! It was insane, especially the guy who kept grabbing gravel and throwing it at the door!! Anyhoo, then we went off to a club and got massively drunk on champagne and danced the night away! An extremely modest man was in the hospital for a series of tests, the last of which had left his bodily systems extremely upset. Upon making several false alarm trips to the bathroom, he decided the latest episode was another and stayed put.
