Good Day !
Good morning/good afternoon/good day to one and all! Have to cover all the time zones, lol! Hope everyone is having a good week. I, for one, am ready for 2006 to be over! On to 2007. Wasn't a bad year, by any means; just strange! I'm ready for the guys to be back in school! They are such a cranky bunch! A couple have homework/projects due the first day back and not one has done much more than get a start on it. I hope they aren't expecting me to do it because it isn't going to happen!! Lots of running around today. Taylor is having his spleen checked out, lol! Then some family visits to take care of. Everyone wants to see my piercings,lmao! After complaining about them, of course, lol. OK, I know, I'm not your usual grandma! Surgery and funeral, to end the year, tomorrow. I'm definitely ready for 2007! So i got a call back from the school today, and found out I got accepted back in :D I'm happy. Get my damn generals done maybe a degree if I can quickly and transfer to Georgia or Florida and get a real art degree. DURING THIS TIME OF THERAPY WE ARE LOOKING FOR OTHER PT OFFICES THAT WILL DONATE SOME HOURS TO ALAN. THE DOCTOR AT UAB EMAILED ME AND SAID HE WAS PUTTING IN A REQUEST FOR ALAN FOR THE MDA. THE MDA SUPPORTS 49 FORMS OF NEUROPATHY. HOWEVER GAN IS NOT ONE OF THEM. SO HE IS WORKING ON TRYING TO GET THEM TO SUPPORT IT. AND IF THEY WILL. THEN THEY WILL HELP WITH RESEARCH AND WITH PT. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day! So far so good here, although my anxiety level is rising - not too sure why! I am excited because I finally get my horoscope reading tonight!! The Good And The Bad
01-06-07 I'm finially making our big announcement, we found out that I'm pregnant! I'm about 6 weeks along. We are just hoping for healthy. So much has happened I'm still reeling over it. I found out about a week ago that We are expecting, since them I have already got all the appointments and paperwork done for any expecting mom. A few days ago I started cramping andcalled the doctor. We went in and did an ultrasound and saw our baby, and its heart just beating away. Later that night I started spotting so I worried and called the doctor, they said it wasn't common but it wasn't unheard of when you do a vaginal ultrasound for spotting to occur, and that if it got worse or tissue started to come out to go straight into the ER. Well today I took the kids to Wal-mart and got their pictures taken, which you will see in my pictures. I realized that I was bleeding heavily not too long after that and went straight to the ER. A Good Day At The Beach
This was my first time,do you remember your first time ? The Beach I was walking along the beach, enjoying the quiet and the late summer sun. I came up to a sea wall; a huge pile of rocks stretching the whole length of the beach. It was built to stop the sea washing all the sand right along the beach. I looked up at the wall of rocks, climbing fifteen feet above me. As children we had always been told not to climb these walls, the loose rocks could slip and fall, taking you with them. at 4:47 am this morning, club owner, long time biker, and long time friend to all who knew him, Dennis Martindale, passed. Dennis was the owner of several clubs around little rock, ar, but most recently the very respected gentlemans club, Peaches, in jacksonville, ar. he was also the owner/founder of HARDRIDERS bike shop/bar&grill. I've known Dennis off and on for about 8 yrs, and had the privilage to work for him for almost 2. he was friend to all colors, including the red and white, the Sons of Silience, and many, many others. Dennis had been battling an illness for the past few years, but refused to let it beat him or interfere with his daily responsibilities, whether it was work or family related, all the way til the end. no matter what he always had a big genuine smile on his face anytime i saw him, and never offered anything less than kind words of encouragement when he talked to me. he will be missed dearly, and i know that he is riding through the gates,with that infectious

Good Morning. March is roaring in like a lion. No not the Taco Bell Lions, which seem to be cuddlier then anything. But March is roaring in. Rain thunder boomers and yes lightning too. I had the worst day... I wanted to join the military to get a career, start life over, and meet new people. But that didnt happen! Im stuck in NJ failing school. Stuck here with the same people... and well havent really met anyone knew... Got in a fight with someone cause i took his beef jerky!!! I was gonna give it back.... Although the trip will be exciting, I can't help but feel sad since I will be away from my computer for 11 days. I have never been away from my beloved laptop for that long. We're on our way to Hong Kong aboard the USS Okinawa. I think it was a day or two before we got into port we got word over the news stations that Husain had invaded Kuait. We got word though that we would still pull into hong kong and spend our 3 days there. A friend of mine and I decided to spend a little time with another friend of ours who had some family which had a home there. It was great! We met his parents and watched movies, played tennis, swam in the pool and had a great time. We got up every morning and looked toward the ship as if it flew a certain flag on the island of the ship it meant we had to get there as the ship was pulling out early and if we missed it...we'd be awol! I've decided to start a blog that is totally about what I'm facing with my mom's Alzheimer's. Yesterday and today have been good days for my mom. The first two good days in a month. After another trip to a hospital in Chicago, it appears they finally got her meds adjusted and it's helping. She's been like "mom"...sweet, loving, considerate, and quiet. We had been told that if they couldn't get her combativeness and hostility under control, she would have to go to a lock-down facility for Alzheimer's patients. I'm sure you can picture what those places are like, just like me. I have new pics that my daughter sent to me of her visit with my mom yesterday in "My Family" photos. had some great news the other week after the job offer i had that was taking the piss, i had another job interview on the following Friday which went very well, very well indeed last Monday i was offered the job , i accepted it straight away and today my contract came for me to sign.didn't want to say anything bout it till i got the contract in my hand as i didn't want to jinx it. i start work on the 12th April.

Well for many of my friends on here you know that I currently live in England. But in 3 months time I will pack up my house and will be leaving the UK forever. We are States bound. The Good Usually Outnumbers The Bad
There are those who consistently talk trash about the U.S. military. There are those who will actually call them Murderers. But, I am a military wife. I am proud of my Husband in everything he does. He is currently in another state, in school for the Army. He's been there since November, and he will finally be home in 25 days. On the back of my truck are 2 stickers. One says "I Love My Soldier". The other says "My Ass Belongs to a US Soldier" I have had so many compliments on these 2 simple stickers that it is almost mind boggling. I have had old men walk up to me as I am putting gas in my Truck, and pat me on the back. I constantly get thumbs up signs Peace signs and even a few kisses blown at me while driving through town. The time has come for me to say good bye officially to CherryTAP. I was thinking about it all and realistically this place is just not right for me, and I am going to be leaving for good. For those of you who didn't know, Kurt Vonnegut has passed away. If you have never read his work, well....shame on you. Go do it. Vonnegut had published some lovely advice on writing short stories. I try to follow these rules, but suspect I fail often. No matter, I'll get better, and hopefully some of you may learn from this: 1. Good Morning. A day or two has gone by and the dust has settle in on Va. Tech Where the duct may have settled but will always and forever be stirred up with questions and answers no one knows that are true or not. There was a poet on Video this am talking about Va. Tech and tried to bring other issues into play. I always think the best words sometimes are never said and the worse ones always are said… If that makes sense to you then I did better then the poet who brought other worldly issues in her poem and for me it was like essence of having someone tell you they also lost a loved one in a similar fashion and not allowing your grieve period or understanding your pain. I showed how this is one of the top stories of evil of all time and, judging by the response, I think I did well.One person, though, thinks that the xtian god is still a good guy. He mentions all of the good things that the bible is (supposedly) chocked full of. However, I reminded him of the saying, "By their actions shall ye know them."Imagine if the xtian god was on trial. The prosecutors will bring up all the death and destruction that was caused. The defense would be stuck with saying things like, "Yeah, but they DESERVED it since they wouldn't follow his rules!"Now, if a jury wasn't already brainwashed by the cult of the carpenter, would he get off?
