Went to my first AA meeting on Monday. Preparing to go to my second in a few mins. I HATE these people. A bunch of weak willed, trading one crutch for another, pansy fucks. They are completly dependant. They trade the bar scene and drinking for meetings. Granted a healthier habit, but still a habit none the less. When I decide to not drink, I don't drink. I don't need sob stories, or hugs, or a book, or god, to keep me from drinking. Alcohol is NOT a physical adiction. It's mental. I have a stong enough mental capacity, to not get adicted to stupidity. I admit my adictions freely. Caffine, nicotine, actual physical addictions. Things that can adict your body. I hate this.

DAMN! This sucks. My family is planning to move by March 1st. So far, the only person whose done any substantial work is the damn cripple! (That would be me.) My truck and I have alot in common, we don't run anytime, much less in the cold. The thermostat in this house is set at 76 degrees, but it's only about 70-72. I am unfortunately quite robotic when I am cold. I have very limited range of motion that's cut down considerably as the temp drops. On the plus side however, we are moving into a house that I know intimately. My grandma decided to move into a much smaller domicile, and sold her house. Well, we are top of the list to rent it. I grew up in that house. It was th only constant in my early childhood. After the sale, I couldn't stand to lose the house to someone outside the family. Not that it wouldn't be cared for, but because of the history that my family has there. I can't wait to get moved over.

I have a mathtest today, in about 10 hrs. I Have to sleep, and ideally study a little bit more for it befor then. I also have to be in class in about 3 and a half hrs. Well here it is the end of yet another summer. My God where did it go?? Actually the last year has been a total challenge for me, and my family. One year ago in Sept. my Brother lost his leg in a boating accident, and damn near lost his life as well. This Sept. he will be doing a 4 day bike race in MI. We ALL be up north on that final day to see him finish his race, and to put the last year of HELL behind us. Kids will be back to school on Tuesday, and I will get Mommy time for the first time in well forever. Gonna use that time to go to the gym, and the boys will be in Karate as well, so my schedule will get interesting. Of course this is my fav. season approaching. I LOVE THE FALL!!!! Apples, College, and HS football, and the beautiful leaves, and weather. In early Oct. I will be traveling to Baltimore for a long weekend. Hope you all have a WONDERFUL Labor Day weekend. Oh and I cannot forget Hockey season starts in early Oct. as well. GO RED WINGS!!!!

It's Sunday morning and the kids are in bed. This means it's quiet....for now. of course Buddy our dog is up, but he's not scratching at the door to go out yet, so all is well....for now. I love the weekends because most of the time, there is nowhere I have to be. I relax, get my laundry done, and get on the internet. I do, however have to walk Buddy. I wish I could just open the door and let him go "do his business", but he would just take off. He has gotten out before and come back though. This seems to leave them no recourse but to drop said pets at a local rescue shelter or worst still just to abandon them, often times to die of dehydration and starvation, in the very houses they just foreclosed on. This presents a challenge to the shelters because they now have to feed and care for these frightened animals on budgets that were not meant to handle the overwhelming numbers of healthy, tame, house-trained pets. How it is oftentimes handled, regrettably, is with a quiet death by euthanasia. My brother has a good friend who lives on a small patch of land in rural Missouri.
