Giving Up Fishing
Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch, grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat up to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential down pour. The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the day. My sophomore year carried me through to 1975, many things going on all around. Last year dad got transferred to MEDCOM, his secondary MOS Military Occupational Specialty) is in English, so he joins the newspaper, the Medical Examiner. Ever have one of those little stretches where You can't sleep? Not because of drugs, but because of Insonia? I am mired in the midst of a 3 1/2 week long bout with it. My Life
I see my life as a big charter bus. It looks great from the outside big and black and shiny with a great colorful design on the side. It is just beautiful. At least from a distance. Once you get closer you see that the windows are kind of dirty and the paint is scuffed and chipped in some places. Still from the outside it looks just fine. It doesn't seem to run anymore. So to get any where I have to push it. It rolls for a while once I get it going. It really doesn't have great direction unless I can run up and jump inside and steer for a while but then it comes to an hill or just time and gravity start to affect it and next thing I know it is stopped again. I was thinking today how online sometimes becomes like a reality show. On a reality show the producers take people and turn them into characters. They then only show you footage to further make you see that person a certain way. I So Hate Begging Lol
I hate begging and grrr to the higher spotlights lately! Over a month ago I was like dang I'll never get spotlight cause of where I was at fu-buxwise. Bad Day Today
Ever have one of those days that you have your world come crashing down arund you? That was me today.. I was given good news the end of October that after looking for 2 months a company wanted me for a job position to fill. Financial Aid And Why Its A Crock Of Shit.
Today I basically had my financial aid for school pulled out from under me because of how many credit hours I've attempted versus the ones I've completed. To make a long story short about those.. I dropped a couple times not sure what I wanted to do. I've changed my major a couple times. So here I was earlier today thinking everything was going to be ok for school and BOOM! two years ago at 1130 pm november 11th 2006 a very special person was taken from this earth,Michael L Hardy Sr my father he was a great man a loving father a devoted grandfather,un forunately he left behind two children two grandkids at the time one who worshiped him like a hero and one who never got to really know him. A New Venture
For a long time, I've lamented never having gotten anywhere with my music, but it recently occurred to me that I've never really tried. Sure, I've put some stuff out there, But I haven't been terribly professional about it and I think it's time to change that. To that end, I've decided to join taxi.com at the beginning of the year (need time to save up some money). It's an independent A&R company that sends it's members listings of requests from record companies, publishers and tv/film music supervisors (the ones that I'd be focusing on). With my trip coming up fast and so much going on it's been difficult keeping up with this blog. Last Friday I was out with the girls and had a wonderful time. A lot of laughing and silliness. Update On Angel 11/12/08
Hi everyone, I am having an extraordinarily difficult today. Angel passed away at 4:43 yesterday and its been so hard to understand why such tragedies happen to the young. He was not a trouble maker by any means, he was a great student, and was enlisting into the Marines and was set for his basic training in December. Though he was in the DEP (Delayed Entry Program) the Marines have also suffered a loss of a fine young man, one with the valor of honor, strength, compassion, and kindness. Great values if I must say so myself. We have made the final arrangements and it was always his request should he die he wanted us all to know that his desire was to be cremated. We our having a memorial tomorrow morning, and the cremation is also tomorrow. God bless him, as we were forever blessed to have him in our lives for as long as we did. My Rant For The Day
I swear some people need to have their head examined big time, one of them is not my girlfriend Kate here, she goes to the grocery store up the road to get some canned cat food for our two cats, she was given the money by me since I have the money because she likes to loose the money, well, she comes back home and come to find out, she finds a kitten probably 3 mohths old that some idiots lets out and she finds it outside at the store so she puts it inside her coat and shirt and brings it back here and the cat was cold and it's not even 40 degrees out up here, I swear, I'd like to find the idiot that does that to let a 3 month old kitten out and doesn't take care of it here. Roasted Chicken Thighs W/ Brussels Sprout Pasta.
I just made this, it tasted awesome and you can either feed a ton of people with it or eat it for over a week. I live alone, so that means I don't have to cook for the next nine days. Score! Ingredients: pack of chicken thighs, around 10 3 tbs. mayo 1 tsp. spicy mustard Worcestershire sauce hot sauce dried rosemary dried thyme dried parsley salt & pepper 1 lg. onion, chopped or sliced 1 lb. Brussels sprouts, sliced 1 1/2 tbs. extra virgin olive oil 1 1/2 tbs. butter 1 tsp. allspice 1 tsp. dried sage 1 bag shredded mozzarella Preheat oven to 400 degress. Mix mayo, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, rosemary, thyme, parsley, and salt and pepper in a bowl. Smear on chicken and put skin side down in a metal baking pan. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour. Remove foil, flip chicken skin side up, and bake an additional 20 mins. Start boiling water for pasta. Heat skillet over medium-high heat, put in oil and butter. My Decisions To Pull My Pictures
As many of you know, or have seen already, I recently pulled down all of my NSFW pictures from the site. Many people have stopped by and asked why I did that. It'd funny that so many people asked why yet there were so few ratings and comments. Hmmm, makes a girl think. But that is neither here nor there really. I have gotten to the point where I am tired of explaining my choice to people individually so for those that actually stop and read these, now everyone will know. I have struggled long and hard with self acceptance. Some days accepting and loving myself for me is still very difficult. Those pictures were taken and posted so that I could see that there were other people that thought I was just as sexy as other people in my life have told me I am. But then it got a point where people were being rude about the pictures, making obscene comments when my profile clearly states that I have someone in my life. So, as I was going to feed my cat, there was a stray in our garage trying to get to her food. My dumb ass decides to try and catch it. Went to the midnite show of twilight last night with my gf daughter and her friends. I think I was the only guy in the theater. kinda surprised nobody called the cops on me thinking I was a pedophile or something. The movie was actually pretty good. Haven't read the books yet but I think I might give them a shot now. this twilight series looks like it will probably rival the Harry Potter ones. Once again they cast all these 20 something actors to play high school students. I wish they could do a better job with that. either get younger actors or do a better job with the make up. Absolutely nothing. I actually got to leave the house, and went to the mecca of commerce...the Peru Mall. Compared to malls in the bigger cities, it sucks. but I have been stuck at home recovering, so it was one incredible experience. I got my kid's some video games for Christmas. Update
The baby had complicatons through the night. His blood sugar dropped and he in now in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. They have inserted an IV and a feeding tube. This is a very stressful time for Mom and me. Its 40 minute travel each way and mom is to be released tomorrow.. I dont want her health to fail but hope the Dr will find a way to keep her in the hospital so she doesnt have to travel back and forth. He is a fighter and will pull through this just fine. When It Rains, It Pours!
If it ain't one thing, it's another! Early Sunday morning, Joey and I decided to take Andrew out to breakfast at Denny's after he got out of work. We all were starving and looking forward to feeding our bellies with not so healthy food. LOL As we pulled up to a stop sign at the end of the exit ramp (which is only about half a mile from Denny's) Joey made a comment about how heavy the traffic was for being 12:30am. All of the sudden, our Blazer got hit from behind by another Blazer! We all had our belts on, thank God!, but Joey and I got thrown forward. Andrew did also, but didn't seem to be affected by it. Joey and the other driver pulled up onto the overpass so as not to block the exit ramp, and he and Andrew got out of the car to check the damage and get the other driver's info. ok so heres the deal I have a friend who has been doing some investigating for me and I have come to find that well my man has been cheating for a while now. That he plans to kick me out of our apartment after the first and that he has been bring women here when I am not home. I have no where to go if he kicks me out. I have been nothing but faithful and honest with him and he doesnt seem to care. I have had numberous emails, messages and IM's telling me things that he has been doing. I have wonderful memories of Thanksgivings past. This time of year was a happy time for me as a child surrounded by family, warmth, laughter, love and the overwhelming feeling of belonging. My Plans For January.
So I'm goin to visit my best buddy Matt in January. I turn 30 in February (buy me gifts) so we're going to celebrate it in January, since that's when I'll be there! Saying Thankyou...is It That Hard?
Ok this is just a rant.....is it so hard for someone to say thankyou on here....LeT me explain.. I love to bling people and actually I do it randomly sometimes like when I see someone close to levelling Ill bling...( rating is not my thing)..and most send me a msg saying ty thats all I would expect.. I do not bling to get something in return just a ty, so why is it that a few on my friends list cant be polite....I was brought up with manners I guess I cant say the same for others..anyway thats my rant....have a great day...

so, today i didnt go to have thanksgiving with my family, because they suck. i love my mom, but everyone else can go straight to hell in a hand basket for all i care. i spent the day at my best friend erin's house with my son. it snowed a shit ton today and erin almost ran off the road taking me home. my sister is a cum gurgling gutter snipe, if she died i really could care less. she has done nothing for my whole life but fuck it up and talk down to me. my grand mother actually thinks this drug addict junkie slut is better than me. i am in college and getting my shit together....WTF? my father told me he hates me and that shit hurt alot. oh well...hes a ass gobbler anyway. late' ashlee

New Train Update And Message To All Train Hosts Please Read
Hello everyone I hope you and yours had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. And now right around the corner is Christmas and the trains have already started rolling in :) I know I haven't did an update in awhile here at home I've been in a bit of pain with my hands and some nights by the time I get home from work I seem to be able to get next to nothing done. When Tat finally talks my stubborn ass into taking a pain pill I'm in tears and end up passing out. Moving
Yup... I'm a-moving, finally.. Got this great little shit hole in this town... 3 beds, small ass kitchen, tiny living room and hardly no yard... with an actual cliff on one side of the house, that doesn't have a fence at all.. just little lines up stones.. hoping to move by end of the week, at latest, the place isn't quite done yet.. I will be gone for who knows how long.. actually, I don't know if I'm coming back.. Fubar's lost any and all magic for me... just the idiocy of it all... I used to work with people that.. couldn't read, "THIS SIDE UP" on boxes, and opened them from other ends... sometimes, the side end.. Who thought a nail was a screw.. the hardware... if it was sex, he'd be right, same thing.. Who said they knew how to drive stick and burned out the clutch 3 hours later.. Who didn't know where the blade on a box cutter came out, and stabbed himself.. Who offered to pick me up a bag of Sunchips, and brought home Doritos.. Who practiced

Moved
So it is official.. i have moved out into my own house. the move went well, though emotional and difficult. After closing, my family and I painted for about 9 hours. Ok, so it was slightly ambitious of me to think you could paint a whole house in one day...but we almost did it. By 9:00 we were high on paint fumes and speaking only in movie-quotes and laughter. "Can't see the line can you Russ?" Another 2 hours of touch up work in the morning and it was all done...and i only leaned against the wall twice, coating myself with paint... and at one point had paint on my eyelid. Thanks to my family and friends and my friends' husbands the actual moving took only 3 hours and 2 trips. Now the real fun begins as i unpack everything and get settled.
