Christmas Birthday Blessing or a Bummer? My position on that has changed throughout the years. When I was a kid I thought it was ok, but felt like I didn't have that "special" day all the other kids had. You know that day that was just about YOU! Christmas Cookiie Recipe
Christmas Cookies 1 cup water 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp lemon juice 4 large eggs 1 cup nuts 2 cups dried fruit 1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo Again to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and Drink. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy Bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK. Try Another cup just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and Add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging Fruit off floor. Mix on the turner. Thursday is the annual work Christmas party. This is my first year attending unmarried. At first on Friday, I was counted as two invitations because everyone 'forgot' I'm no longer married. How nice! 12-11-2008 Well it seems that sometimes with the holiday spirit lacking in me for the last few years I have half expected to be visited by someone telling me I will be getting visits from 3 Christmas Spirits. Honest to God I thought that lol. I guess things are not the same for me anymore. Don’t know whether that is good or not. I'm thinking it isn’t good for me anymore lol I know the day is special because it is the birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. i am not a stranger to cookies. rofl My mom has always made a no bake cookie that she has passed on to me and i think that they are so decadant and yummy. 1 large box of plain graham crackers 1 large packet of coconut 1 large packet of pecans or walnuts (your choice) 1 bag of confectioners sugar one 12 to 16 ounce jar of peanut butter and melted butter mix all ingredients together except for the butter add the butter a little at a time until there is enough to make this mixture hold together when squeezed into a ball shape. make all the balls and then you will need a double boiler in the double add 1 bar of gulf wax its found in the canning section of the grocery store it is used to make the chocolate harden on the balls when they are dipped add 2 large bags of chocolate chips and allow it to melt together with the wax and dip the balls into the chocolate and place on wax paper and allow to harden (about 2 or 3 minutes) it doesn't take long and they are ready to e

Ok were having a disscussion in a different blog about not bein able to be with loved ones on christmas. me ill be working both christmas eve and day. i do not get so see my sons face to open up presents. but then i have goin on in my mind. how the hell can i afford christmas when i can just skid by on making rent and bills. and then you have people that are like well christmas is about family and spending time with each other and all that.. i understand this as an adult. but try explaining that to a 5 year old. they want the world, they expect like 432542542 gifts under the christmas tree. and they are getting more and more expensive as the years go on. kids are getting more and more spoiled. lol. why cant it be about family and what not. not the screaming kids that are crying and stompin there feet cuz they didnt get there Wii (or how ever you spell that fucking thing) or there playstation 3's. i dont know where im goin with this but my issue is chrismas sucks. lol.. its been tainted

Christmas...what It Means To Me/12/15/08
Christmas....what does it mean to me? it means family get together, neices and nephews ect..my sister andhe kids and their kids turkey and ham dinners, desserts and opening presents. But its sad for me too for my mom passed away and Christmas just isnt Christmas without her and my das who passed away in 1985. Yeah iam happy go lucky guy sweet and nice to all, for thats me in a whole... :D Im lonely yes, but have love of friends, and family and my new found love Janicew who is my light in the dark and dismal days if this year. I love everyone but miss my dad and mom something fierce...so in my heart, i have kept them close...i know they watch over me in heaven....hopefully ill be there to see them soon. It was a clear and crisp Christmas Eve at the North Pole. All the elves were busy with last minute preparations. Emily Elf wrote replies to Christmas letters; Erin and Cindy Elf were finishing off games to load onto Santa's sleigh; Sharon and some smaller elves made crafts and wooden toys; Carol, Anise and Sara Elf were wrapping away; and Alecia entertained the small elves, while the littlest baby elf slept in his cradle beside her. I hope everyone is having a wonderful Holiday season. Things are looking pretty good on this end. I just found work a couple of weeks ago and I'm enjoying being productive once again. Jose Cuervo Christmas Cookies 1 cup of water 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup or brown sugar 4 large eggs 1 cup nuts 2 cups of dried fruit 1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila Sample the Cuervo to check quality.. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Turn on the electric mixer. Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one peastoon of sugar. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still ok, try another cup just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit. Pick the frigging fruit off the floor. Mix on the turner.

I have been trying to teach my 5 yr old about the spirit of giving and it has been very hard.. Everytime we come across someone in need weather we can afford it or not we give atleast alittle. well i did my other kids the same way and i didn't think it took with them. In 1963, I was still just a babe in arms, barely off the floor, but that year something happened that is my earliest memory. Mom and Dad had gathered up enough capitol and credit to buy a place, 104 acres of prime West Virginia mountain top, which was dubbed "Pumpkin Knob". By the time we got moved in, fixed what needed to be fixed to survive the winter, and laid in some supplies, we were pretty broke. If I may describe the place, starting at the foot of the hill, there was kind of a 2 mud track road that snaked up the side of the hill that was extremely steep at places. Plus it only took 3 drops of rain on a cigarette paper to make it slick as snot on glass! You topped out the hill after about a mile of this steep climb to a saddle back (level spot between mountain peeks) where the house and barns sat. The house was a bit 2 story affair, very solid, but kind of drafty. We had a well behind the house, and a hand pump. Out baths were in a 10 gauge tub in front of our wood stove. Kitche

Christmas Is Officially Over!
The minute my in-laws stepped out my front door and said good bye, the decorations were in the box, the tree was down and I bid the whole damn holiday fucking adieu! I was done! Christmas Season
I am so glad to see that Christmas is over. I never really realized when I was a kid just how stressful the holidays can be for parents. Although at the end of the day, it is all worth it when you see their faces on Christmas morning. I love having family around but it is nice once everyone is gone and you can look back on a successful holiday and just smile. I was able to go through this holiday season with such amazing happiness looking forward in my life and no longer looking back on what had occurred over the last year. I truly understood the spirit of giving again because I was not only able to give presents but was able to give all of me, my time and my spirit. I haven't been able to do that in a long time. 2 sticks Butter (Melted) 1/2 Lb. Graham Cracker Crumbs 1 Lb. Powdered sugar 1 large can coconut(more or less to taste) 1 Cup chopped nuts (I prefer pecans) 1/2 cup Peanut Butter 1 TBSP Vanilla extract Mix all ingredients together. Form into balls. set aside. In a double boiler, melt 1/2 cake parafin wax and 1 bag of chocolate chips. When chocolate and parafin is melted together, roll candy balls in chocolate and set on platter covered with wax paper. OK just a little update I am still alive. 8 Flat Sequins 5 Fabric Roses Foil leaves Glitter glue Pins Candle Lace This candle is so easy to make and can be used for religious occasions, wedding unity candle or even as a Sunday school bible craft. Start by covering your candle with some glitter glue. It only has to be a small dusting of glitter. Take your sequins and thread them onto the pins. Place the pins in a Cross formation in the center of the candle. If your pins will not push in then heat them slightly. Thread the roses onto the pins and place them in a decorative formation along with the foil leaves. If you can not get the foil leaves try pinning on small silk leaves. I finished off the candle with a length of lace glued to the bottom. Wrap the candle up in some cellophane for a wonderful gift. Remember to never leave a candle unattended. Remove the Roses before burning down to the bottom.

I think this is the first year in I don't even remember how long that I've been excited for. why is it that ppl think Christmas is just about presents??? Im so tired of hearing ppl ask me if I have all my shopping done !!! Christmas is about love and showing love . If you want to buy someone something-take it to heart and find the special present for that person--A gift card just shows you dont have the heart or time to find something special.Pll now a days think its all about the gifts. So I have made to attempt to hide my dislike for the Christmas season, hell I STILL haven't even put up a Christmas tree even though my 9 year old won't shut up about it. Well, I broke down and wrapped a few Christmas presents for tomorrow night which include my 4 nieces. Now 3 of my nieces I adore and can stand to be around without wanting to strangle or duct tape and throw in a closet. My fourth niece however is a HUGE brat who gets anything she wants, gets by with everything and never does anything even remotely wrong in the eyes of her mother, father and grandparents. Last Sunday she was visiting her grandmother (my mother-in-law) and she was in full on brat mode. She was starting fights with my daughters, jerking things from their hands and back talking me and her uncle. I told her fine, I would just give her present to her sister.
