Just in case anyone has wondered why I fell off the face of the earth, this is the reason why. My yearly check up found a spot in my left breast and the cleveland clinic found another lump during intense testing. I had a huge 10cm mass removed in October, and I started chemotherapy on Nov 1st. The hair is falling out, I am losing weight, and feel like i was hit by a truck. But, I will survive the process and get a new set of boobs out it next fall. Mom had her first round of chemo yesterday. Let's just say she isn't the ideal patient. She acted like a coke addict going through withdrawl for like 8 hours. She kept kicking me too lol - - supposively it was the pre-meds; the combination of benadryl and steroids that did her in. She can't remember any of it but I think that's because of all the ativan we gave her.I've been so so tired even before we came to Philadelphia. The Cancer Treatment Center of America here is definately amazing though. Even the people there want me to go get checked out back home (they only accept people already diagnosed with cancer) for tonsillar, lung and chest tumors. I've noticed a rather amusing phenomenon here at LC. It's the Cherry levels. So many people are scrambling to get up to the next level. They send out bulletins for themselves, or ask a "friend" to pimp them out instead so that they don't seem quite so egotistical and needy. Why? What happens when you reach that next level? Do you get a check from LC? Do you get back a year of your life? Do certain body parts start to grow? Face it, there is absolutely no significance to it. Once you reach that next level, then what? Swift'ning 1/2 c. sugar 4 egg whites 1/2 c. sugar 2 1/2 c. sifted cake flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 2/3 c. milk 1/3 c. maraschino cherry juice 1/2 c. finely chopped maraschino cherries 1/2 c. chopped nuts Beat egg whites until frothy. Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar. Beat until peaks form, set aside. Cream Swift'ning and 1/2 cup sugar. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with liquids. Add cherries and nuts. Fold in meringue. Pour into lined pans. Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Yields: two 9-inch layers.

Ingredients: 3/4 cup granulated sugar 1/4 cup butter, melted 1 large egg 1 teaspoon almond extract 3/4 cup all-purpose flour 1 can (15.25 oz.) Bartlett pears in heavy syrup, well drained, finely chopped and patted dry* 1/3 cup sliced almonds Sugar 1 jar (6 oz.) or 24 maraschino cherries, well drained and patted dry Sliced almonds for garnish (optional) *Use paper towels to pat excess moisture from pears and cherries. Instructions: In mixing bowl, stir together 3/4 cup sugar, butter, egg and almond extract. Stir in flour until well-combined. Fold pears and 1/3 cup almonds into batter. Spoon about 1 tablespoon batter into each of 24 paper-lined miniature muffin cups. Sprinkle with sugar. Place a maraschino cherry on top of each. Bake at 375º for 25 to 27 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Garnish with a sliced almond, if desired. 8 ounces plain flour 1 pinch salt 2 teaspoons icing sugar 1 ounce cornflour 4 ounces lard 2 ounces margarine, mixed with the lard 1 egg yolk 2 tablespoons cold water Filling 1 lb black cherries, stoned (or pitted if you prefer) 4 ounces icing sugar 2 eggs 3 ounces ground almonds, finely ground 3 to 5 drops almond essence 1 Set oven to 400F or gas Mark 6. 2 Make the pastry- Sift the flour, salt, cornflour and icing sugar into a bowl. 3 Rub in the mixed lard/margarine and bind into a dough with the egg yolk and water. 4 Knead the pastry lightly and roll out. 5 Grease a 9 inch pie dish and line with the rolled out pastry. 6 Bake blind for 15 minutes. 7 Reduce oven temperature to 325F or gas Mark 3. 8 Remove pie shell from oven. 9 Arrange cherries in the pastry case. 10 Mix the sugar, eggs and almonds together with the almost essence. 11 Pour the mixture over the cherries. 12 Bake for 50- 60 minutes until firm and golden. 13 Serve hot or cold with cream and/or ice cream.

Hi to all of my Friends and Fans! As many of you already know through my fanclubs and website, I have been unable to access Cherrytap.com for just over a week now. I don't know why, but when I type in Cherrytap.com or follow a link already placed somewhere else, I get an Error message through IE, or an Operation time out message through Mozilla and Netscape. At first I thought the site had crashed, but then I found out that everyone from everywhere else was still able to access it. I tried to get friends from all over Korea to access the site and they all received the same error messages as well, which lead me to believe that there was a region block. The other day I was at a friends office one out of three of his computers was able to access the site, which lead us to believe that it was not a region block, but something else... Cover and set aside four days. Pour through nylon sieve or jelly-bag and squeeze well to extract all possible juice. Add sugar, citric acid and nutrient and stir well to dissolve sugar. Transfer to secondary, add yeast starter, fit airlock, and set in warm place (70 degrees F.). INGREDIENTS: * 2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers ( 40 to 50) * 1 cup powdered sugar * 1/2 cup finely chopped red candied cherries * 1 cup chopped pecans * 1/4 cup rum * 3 tablespoons corn syrup * 2 tablespoons butter melted * 1/4 cup powdered sugar PREPARATION: In medium bowl, combine crushed wafers , 1 cup powdered sugar, cherries, and pecans. Ok so is it just me or is everyone who uses Mozilla having problems with cherrytap? Parts of the page don't load right and after awhile it crashes mozilla all together... If you want to run a successful community portal with a wide varity of users, you can't rely on Internet Explorer. There are many users on the web who use Mozilla, Opera, Firefox (different to mozilla), netscape, just to name a few. Cherrytap Needs To Get It's Priorities Straight!!!
The overall look of the site has changed yet again. Well that's all well and good but I have an idea. Instead of changing the color scheme, why not change the functionality. First off get rid of all these damn errors that we're seeing (rating too fast, session log out...etc.) I mean don't get me wrong I like this site better then Myspace but they're more worried about how much money they make from Happy Hours, Blasts and VIC's then how well the site works. I give Myspace this, at least everything on there is FREE!!!

Cherry Blossom Festival 07'
I try to make it a habbit to travel down to DC durring the Cherry Blossom Festival and snap some pictures, have some fun, relax... yadda yadda. I took this picture a few years ago at one: By mistake. I was using an old analog/film camera, and I forgot to adjust the shutter speed which gave it a blurred effect. I guess theres some things that just can't be done with a digital camera, though I could be wrong. I need to start getting back into photography. Hopefully the cherry blossoms arn't all out of wack now due to the freak snow mixed with 70 degree days.
