Remorse Beside the wilted candle, a memory lies in dust. The smell of love long past, is all that's left of lust. A rumpled robe lies scattered, slippers looking for feet. Same Shit Just A Differnt Day
Man these last couple of days have been a rough one late saturday night the apartment complex right next to my work set fire killing several and leaving a hundred residents homeless. Including several of my friends from work I went into work the next day they couldnt even get the people out of the building. I went to work Sunday morning only to stand there and watch as the pulled body of body out of the rebel . I was so scared several of my friends lived in the aprtment complex. They had the body bags laid out right in the ally behind my work. I was filled with relief when my friends showed up. They may now be homeless but iwas releived to see that was safe. They are going back today and diggin through the rubble agian to see if they can find any more bodies. Man you I have learned to expect the unexpected. For a long time when my nephew was younger, he believed that I was a child. Because I still lived at home, his natural progression in thought was, "Uncle Paul lives with nana, so he's a kid like me". Apparently many people initially thought the gunman was part of the act. Worst Day Ever...
Ok so pretty much this is how my day went yesterday, found out my brother left for Afghanistan, and still unsure of whether I will ever see him again...girlfriend leaves me...get pissed off at a friend....get ditched by a different friend who i was supposed to be hanging out with last night, and to top it all off, I walked home, alone, 5 miles....in the rain. In light of these events, I now know how little I feel now, how cursed I am on this thing called love...I feel expendible, lonely, and yet again, completely unwilling to love to spare myself pain. I just wish I could live out the rest of my days without feeling anything...I'm sick and tired of being hurt by people I thought I could depend on.
