Feelings
This is my first blog ever,so hopefully it's not lame,but it's just something I'm feeling and need to express. Overwelmed By All The Attention
Today I added a a person who asked to be my friend. So far I have never denyed a request and I have added anyone who asked. I feel that anyone who asks I will add and they are going to respect me and my way of handeling my page. However this person then asked to see my pics I have for my Family. He got upset when I told him not at the moment. I told him I need to get to know him first before I added him to that part. He then started to cuss at me and rated the rest of my pics that he hadn't rated a 1. This in itself doesn't bother me that they are rated a 1. But the fact that someone who asked to be my friend and I allowed to do so would then demand to see my provate pics and when denyed he flipped out. My mom has terminal cancer, and it sucks ass. It's a damned sorry thing to see your own mother go from being able to do for herself to being frustratingly helpless in such a short period of time. Example: she picked up my niece from kindergarten on her last day of school before the Christmas holiday, but the cancer spread to her spine and she was unable to walk when my niece returned to school after New Years. It was a grand total of less than two weeks. Her spirits remain high, but my own have taken a beating. Its hard to watch a woman who busted her ass to raise me and my sister as a single mom be felled so quickly by cancer. In a way, she had it coming, as cruel as it is to say that. My mom smoked for most of her life, and had a very hard time quitting despite the encouragement of my sister and me. She tried and tried to quit, but she never could quite kick the habit. So, I thought that I'd say, on top of my forty hrs+ work week, I'm taking twelve units this semester... that's two english courses, one of which is for my women's studies minor, and two anthropolgy courses. It's hard to believe that the stress of school would force myself to write... like, there's this seriousness on one hand, so creativity blooms in the other to balance it. I'm taking the advice of a few authors... doing lots of freewrites, timed writings, journaling, doodling. :) It's good, oh and I haven't had a drink in a few days...
