Not that I want anyone to feel sorry for me, but I just found out that I have Lung cancer. I am being told it is in stage 2 and am also being told that if things don't get better I have maybe 8 months to a 1 year to live.. I am scared out of my mind and to boot I was just told by a girl I have been seeing that because I have cancer she can't and won't commit to me at all but she can be friends with me.. She is telling me that it is because she don't want to get any closer to me and then loose me.. Is this her just being selfish or am I reading to much in to it???

First I want to thank all of you, who continue to give me encouragment on my journey ....I got some great news yesterday ...I had previously had some test to see what the chemo was doing for me and praise God...the cancer that was is my liver is gone...this a great relief....I have one more chemo treatment which was postponed till next week as I had a wisdom tooth pulled on Monday and I don't want to have it get infected due to chemo giving me low blood counts....I'm on cloud nine as you can tell and have a trip pending to England in September to look forward too and a new boob to get implanted and some new hair to grow.... Today life is good...

One day my family and I were at home here in the Inland Empire. The sun was bright, even a little bit blinding and nice an warm out. Earlier it had been cool and cloudy that morning, in a few hours, the day had changed dramatically; we were in a beautiful hot, SUNNY SOUTHER CALIFORNIA summer day. Minutes later, standing in the family room at my home, suddenly, the whole atmosphere changed. Can Cheating Be Avoided?
No. If one is to cheat, they will. And in the end, blame is useless. Why? Because a relationship should be based on trust and communication. So my mom and I leave for Cancun tomorrow. Of course I waited until the last minute to get everything done. But everything is packed, I've taken my shower, the bags are by the door, and I hope I haven't forgotten anything. I'm super pumped! I've never been out of the country. So this whole passport and customs thing should be fun. We got to pick our seats for the flights down there today when I checked in online and they are awesome seats. I'm stoked! We're taking a cab to the airport which should be fun. I like cabs, I don't know why. I guess because I don't get to ride in them often. Then we have a private car picking us up in Cancun and taking us to our hotel. I've read a lot of mixed reviews on the hotel we're staying at. But I think I'll just be the judge when I get there. ok I am going to start out with I got some really bad news yesterday and I am not sure how to handle it right now I can not wrap my head around it at the moment. I have been told to keep my chin up every thing will get better but right now I am not sure at all. I was told yesterday that I have stage 1 cervical cancer. and that if I have a full hysterectomy that it should get it all and I shouldnt have to go for more treatments far as chemo or what not. ok for all that read my last blog I am giving an update here and now I went to pre-op appt today 9-2-08 found out I had cancer last month was to have sugery last month but had to change it cause one of the dr's couldnt be there on the date so I will now have it on 9-12-08 that will be in just a week and half from now 10 days woohoo anyways I m having a full Hysterectomy and might not have to have chemo or what not but I will not know that till the sugery I am asking any one that has gone thur this for any help that they might can give me yes I am scared but I know that right now this is the best thing for me thank you for any help you might be able to give

Everyday hundreds of people are dignosed with cancer. sometimes the treatments help sometimes they dont. there are several fundraisers out there today but how much of the money you donate goes to cancer research. depending on the type of fundraiser that your giving to. or the merchendise you buy like pink ribbons most generally unless stated other wise they give maybe 10% of what you spend to cancer research. My Family has been devistated with cancer for years. Yesterday my cousin bacame a widow at the age of 39. Her husband was told he had lukemia in June of this year, and gone by the end of Sept. She also lost her Mother to luemia in Nov. of 2005. About this time last year my aunt was diagnosed with cancer AGAIN, from where the year before that she had breast cancer, She was told that the drs got it all well, this time last year she was diagnosed with BONE CANCER that had spread from her breast cancer that the drs didnt get all of. The Dr's told her that she will not recover from this, and there is nothing that they can do for her. The only thing that they can do for her is she can take the Kemo pills and wait, to see what happens. Since then she has lost alot of weight, and is doing really well. My dad has always been my hero. I;m the oldest of 6, he did everything he knew how to raise us. We never had much but,he always did his very best. I got a note today that one of my cousins is partaking in the Breast Cancer walk in October. Her mother had it many, many years ago and was a survivor for many years as well. cancer is a scary word to hear. i went to the emergancy room for a severe pain in my knee i had been having for 3 or 4 motnhs got to the point i couldnt take it any more and it hurt too much to push the gas peddle. If only mom could fix the boo-boo once again! Remember running in the house with blood running down the knee and mom wiping your tears and fixing the boo-boo? Every year I never know what to get a group of people for the holidays. For the past 2 years I have given candles. The are a sign of hope and prayer. The Irish tale has it with Mary and Joseph story. Some use it as a sign of welcome. I do this at my home. There is always room for someone that needs shelter. At work, I have over 300 people.....Hard to get something for everyone. Last night, Martha, Sarah, Jeffrey, and I made ready after I got home from work to get our church photos done by Olan Mills of yearbook photography fame. RECIPE INGREDIENTS: 3/4 cup butter, softened 1 cup sugar 1 large egg 1 tsp. peppermint extract 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour Red food coloring 1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the egg and beat well. Stir in the peppermint and vanilla extracts. Gradually mix in the flour. 2. What you'll need: Low temp hot glue gun Ribbons or yarn for hanging 1 roll of Life Savers (cylinder about 3 1/2" long) 1 small package of gum (3" x 3/4" x 3/8") 4 round wrapped candies (try peppermints) 1 Hershey's Kiss (this is by far the best shape) 1 large rectangular caramel-like candy 1 mini chocolate bar (1 1/2" x 1" x 3/8") How to make it: Glue the Life Savers roll to the gum package, letting the Life Saver roll stick over at both ends. Glue the peppermints to the lower sides for wheels. Push the caramel onto the Life Saver body to make the cab of the engine to help it adhere better. Glue in place. Cut the paper off the top of the Hershey's Kiss, then flatten the point a bit by pushing it against the table. Put a good sized blob of hot glue on the tip, and then adhere it to the Life Saver roll as shown. Glue the little chocolate bar on top of the cab for the roof. Tips: You can substitute a rectangular candy for the Life Savers. Jolly Ranchers work, and so does
