I know hate is a strong word. So let me remind you of the true meaning: to dislike intensely or passionately; feel extreme aversion for or extreme hostility toward; detest. That pretty much sums up how I feel about CAPTCHAS. If you are not sure what a captcha is, it’s those annoying mixed up letters and numbers you have to type to prove you are a god damn human being. On fubar, known as "Security". I understand they serve a purpose to protect society, but seriously when it takes me more than one try to read the gobbled shit that is typed, where the letters are slanted, mashed together and blurry it’s very frustrating, given the fact that I have trouble seeing as it is (wears tirfocals) and when I end up going through 3 captchas before getting one right, it goes up my butt a mile. So now I have formed a hatred for them. Do you share my hatred?

Well, Finished with jury duty. then on the way home My car decided it wanted to stop accelerating. after further listening it was the transmission. so now i get to replace that for 3k and despite the fact that the car is only "Worth"2700 i Own the car out right. so ill pay through the teeth to keep it... The Engine is in top condition. i change the plugs every 2 years, oil change every 2 months k & N Filter rad flush every year changed the front suspension this year, changed the rad / ac fan. new ac new front and rear discs, every 6 mo i change the break pads. but again the engine will HAUL a**. So in the mean time i get to ride the motorcycle in the rain (and i just got my permit!)

Got the car fixed. It cost $500 to get a new water pump put in it. At least I don't have to worry about breaking down on the side of the road cause it overheated. Especially with the weather we've been having lately. Been getting over 100 degrees here. We broke a record last week. I am so excited that handbells start this Tuesday night. As if having a damned concussion isn't bad enough... I was in a freaking car accident. I don't think it is my fault.. but I'll explain it all. I'm also blogging this so when I call my insurance company, I'll have it written down in the correct order to insure that nothing is left out. Ok.. so I just picked up my class schedule for the two classes I'm taking online. Went to my mother in laws to mail something for her, and was pulling into the gas station to obviously gas up. Traffic was backed up, and I needed to make the left hand turn. A man in a black Ford Explorer, looked over his right shoulder before waving me through. A Car Accident....
Got up this morning. Got ready for work. Stopped at a little country store, got some gas. As I was leaving the owners dog wanted petted. Pasued like 5-10 sec to pet the dog on the head. Got in the car and drove maybe 1/2 mile tops when a car comes around a curve going side to side. Car ended up spinning 4 or 5 times, and then hitting an embankment twice. Not sure how the person is, they got flown from the scene in a helicopter. So that gave all thoe standing around something to watch. Good think i have had those classes huh? on january 31, 2005 at about 11:45 pm i was involved in a car accident. i was diving 125 mph in a ford taurus station wagon when i hit a dip in the road that caused me to go airborn. i landed, took out a road sign and started fish-tailing. i then barrell rolled 8 times and got ejected from the car. the car then landed on my arm and then took down an electrical pole. when it ejected me, it ripped off my ear, mangled up my arm to the point amputation was the only thing left to do, and broke my back in three places. i know everyone has thier own issues and this is my biggest one. im trying day by day to learn to deal with the loss of my arm but some days its very hard. now you all know why my user name is one-armed bandit. thank you for letting me rant a little bit.

Ok gang just an update. As most of you know i was in a minor car accident. Just want to let all my friends know i am doing ok. I am sore and stiff but nothing is broken. well on friday around 3am we went to leave for Eureka for an AFI concert. The concert was fantastic..the band totally rocks. We were in the moshpit in the very front so we got a fantasic view of the band as they played and got a bit squished in the process..it rocked. As some of you know, and those of you who dont yety I am sorry it has been hectic, I was in a very bad car accident on 10/31/2007. I am very lucky to be alive and now that I have had time to mentally deal with it I posted an album in my photos if interested. 1/2 pk Kraft caramels; (about 24) 1 tb Milk 1 Graham cracker pie crust 1/3 c Nuts; chopped 8 oz Cream cheese; softened 1/2 c Sour cream 2 tb Sugar 1/2 c Applesauce, chunky 2 ts Vanilla 1/2 ts Cinnamon 8 oz Whipped topping; thawed Fresh Apple slices Melt caramels with milk in small microwaveable bowl at high for one minute to 90 seconds. Stir mixture until smooth. Pour into the crust. Sprinkle with nuts. Set aside to cool. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Stir in applesauce, vanilla and cinnamon. Fold in half the whipped topping. Spread mixture over caramel layer in crust. Chill at least four hours. Garnish with remaining whipped topping, apple slices and melted caramels if desired. Note: Store any leftover pie in refrigerator.

Car Accident - Update! June 26th
June 22nd 2008 My son & I were in an accident with my friend & her son. We were hit on the driver's side. My friend was driving. Jaren, my son, was sitting behind her... he got the worst of the hit. His head hit the side window really hard. Splitting his eye lid wide open... and making him very listless. They couldn't stitch his eye up as he wouldn't stay still long enough and any infliction of pain had him crying. But wouldn't talk.. not a word. Just stare at me and cry. So this morning I had to go to church to play hand bells. Before the second service, it started pouring down snow and ice. The weather people didn't know when it was going to start. Well after we finished playing, I went to drive home. Well, I didnt make it very far. I lost control of my car and went down a very large embankment. My car was sliding all over the place when going down. My car hit the embankment real hard on the driver's side. I kept praying to god not to let my car flip over. Luckily it didn't. My car stayed on the tires the whole time...thank god. Luckily there was somebody behind me and she pulled over and asked if I was ok. I was like yea, just pretty shaky. Hi all, just thought I would write about what has been going on this week. On the 5th i went to get paychecks and all. The car drove fine all the way there, and back with the charge light on for the battery. Andrew is going to bible study all week long from 9-noon. So at noon went out to start the car, and it is DEAD! I couldn't believe it! I just drove it to the city and back and it did fine. GRRRRRRRRRR!!! First things first......Fuck A Back Surgery!!!! OUCH!!!!! Actually my damn back feels fine, its the fuck'n hip that they SCRAPED(Graphed) Bone from that is killing me!!! This makes surgery #2! Or you could say this is a follow up to fix the 1st 1 as it wasn't succesful. The 1st procedure was supposed to fix the problem, but the bone used(kadaber-AKA....Deadman's Bone) never fused with my spine. I guess my body rejected it. So I was forced to undergo surgery #2!! The Dreaded one!!! This was what I didn't want to go through!! The one I heard was the most painful of them all!!! Now I can agree first hand how bad it hurts, no more guess'n!!! I just applied for a new job yesterday. I like the job I have currently. The people are great. My bosses are supportive. However, the pay lags in a way that I feel is unacceptable. I often feel like my position at work is abused whenever someone calls in sick. I'm constantly expected to pick up the slack. I really can't stand that. Sooooo, I was sitting at my desk yesterday when I noticed a job being advertised with the state I live in. Took one look at the description and knew it was for me. I didn't waste any time drawing up a resume (I didn't have a current one) and sending out an application online. I'm really excited. If I get this opportunity, I'm not going to turn it down. The pay is great ($17/hr) and is much better than what I'm currently getting ($9.97/hr). Similar duties. Requires some travel. Office is like 30-45 minutes away from me (it can be relocated though). So, wish me luck. I was told I'd be guaranteed an interview because of my deafness. I can't wait.

Care Package Ideas?
So I know that I've got alot of military people on my friends list and a few that are frequent readers. Anyways, my question is about care packages. My hubby doesn't really know what he needs or even what he wants half the time, so I'm stuck trying to come up with ideas for myself of things to send. And I'm tired of candy & sweets. It gets old after awhile, sending the same thing, which is candy, movies & cigarettes. I have done the jar cakes and they went over pretty well, so I'll do those again eventually. Hello everyone! Figured I better drop by and post something up here…. Here is an update in a car for my youngest (who will be 17 in March). I was talking with a guy at work and mentioned that I needed to find a car for the boy. Just so happens that his brother’s roommate has a 1995 Buick Skylark he wants to get rid of. Only wants $100.00, so I told him I would take is. He informed me that the battery would not hold a charge and it needed tires. Still cheap enough. So the guy gets the car and takes it to his house. He wants to work on it and get some of the dings fixed, and get a new battery, change the oil, and so forth. He got the battery, car starts right up. He pissed around with the oil filter, not change the oil, and the next day he noticed that there was oil all over the parking lot under the car. Dummy did not screw the filter all the way back on.
