I injured my back in the construction industry and got a job at a finance company. From there, i got a better job at a bank, and then was offered a position that more than doubled my earnings by a mortgage company.
In my first complete year, I was awarded an all-expense paid trip to the Caribbean for being the most profitable employee of the year, 1995.
I was then noticed by a headhunter and offered a position of Operations Manager with even greater earnings. By accident, we discovered that I had a knack for writing scripts for the TV ad campaign that they were about to launch. I wrote maybe 5 commercials and then was voted to be the Company's tv representative and spokesman. I had a lot to do with the directing, which imposed on the local network directors a bit, but i had much to do with how the scenes were shot.
I was later voted to Vice-President. Then, i was approached by a man with resources, who suggested i arrange a partnership with him and open a corporation. As my latter Tv commercials reflect, I accepted his offer. After becoming public, I was elected President and CEO. The youngest in our history (ha). I proceeded to expand into other states and was licensed to operate in Ohio, W. Virginia, Maryland, Deleware, New Jersey, Montana, and had New York pending when I retired from the business.
It had grown stale. I had become enchanted with writing and the whole production process--it brought my original words, my vision, and made it real for people to see on TV--that's exciting.
Now, I was infatuated.. I went back to school and after 5 semesters maintained a GPA of 3.92 But again, classes became stale, when the topic wasn’t relevant to what I was focused on. I watch my video of my commercials and got re-inspired every time. Now, I have done a stage play-The Grapes of Wrath. i was cast right on the spot. The Director claimed that he hadn't done that in over 15 years. It was his influence that augmented my confidence that i shed my inhibitions, resovle what was unresolved in my life, and am in the early stages of a career in the entertainment business.
Sure, I know the competition and the statistics. But I am one of those 5 out of a 100 that will go on and succeed. If I didnt believe that i can effectively distinguish myself, why would i bother trying. I am certain-because i choose to be certain. I manipulate what i believe. I believe and i will acheive
