Still working on the next installment of my story. Damn unfocused mind...I just lost interest and it has so much potential to me. Well, it'll come. It's still here and eventually I'll get hit with inspiration and start typing like a mad woman.
I'm kinda feeling odd lately. But it is that time of the month..so yea. I hate work, but it's just the whole burnt out thing. I need something new. I've have decided to start a green house...one day...maybe. I don't know, that stuff is expensive. I decided to make candles for everyone at home for christmas this year. These aren't the crappy kind of candles you can buy for .33 a piece at Walmart, these are candles you actually can't get because I made them. They are made with essential oils (distilled from herbs/flowers/plants) and soy wax both for accented scents and clean extended burn time. They are also made off the basis of aroma therapy.
Anyway, the wax, wicks, general supplies are all very reasonable, but I started getting into the essential oils and HOLY SHIT!!!! There are some, which I actually have no need for at this time, that go for almost $400 a ml. No, not ounce, milliliter! It would take almost 30ml to equal 1oz. Dammit! Most of the stuff I was looking at wasn't so bad and I found this package that has a host of very pretty yule-time scents that are good for clensing, good mood enhancements, breathing freely, and enhancing focus which was what I was going for. I was just shocked at some of the prices. I found the distillers to make the oils and thought "hey, I could do this myself if I only had a green house to grow the herbs/flowers/plants in." See this really did have a point.
So, I want a green house where I can grow these things and make the oils myself. Then I could buy the candle wax and wicks and I would never have to buy candles again. Plus, I could have my own scents because you can mix the oils to create aromas that you like personally. Experimentation is fun. This would be...a hobby? scary. Yes, yes, I must find a green house now. Ebay here I come. ::charging horse music ensues::
