Little 4 Year Old Cousin Has Cancer,please Read
My 4 year old little cousin is usually a happy little girl.That love's the outside and playing in the yard with her big sister,but as of Saturday the day that she was admitted into the hospital,she no longer does any of that.The doctors told her parents and family that she has Lymphoma Cancer and on top of that last night she got pneumonia.She is in so much pain that they had to put her in a medicated induced coma.Her parents are the only ones allowed in the room with her because the doctors are trying to keep the room as germ free as possible.She is only 4 and is going through so much right now.She needs as many people that can to pray for her.Please if you can get as many people as you can praying for her.Her name is Harley and she has the brightest smile.There are so many people that want to see that smile again,I am one of them.Please if you can take time out of your busy day and pray for a little girl that is going through so much in her young life. 1942 Joint Strike
So, it's not exactly NEW. It's about a 6 months old now, but I thought it deserved a mention. Remember the old arcade game by Midway, 1942? It was one of my favorite games. There's just something I love about having to dodge an impossible number of bullets, getting powerups, and decimating the enemy. Not to mention, the boss fights were great! It wasn't just shoot him until he dies. You had to take out their guns, and back up guns. And dodge an impossible number of bullets. Well, about 6 months ago 1942: Joint Strike was released for XBLA (I assume PS3 as well). It was the old game again with updated graphics. And this time, you can play with a friend. If you both activated your special ability at the same time, you got a cool new joint ability. This new game is great! It has all of the fun of the old game, with the graphics of today. There are a few more games getting this updated treatment, and I hope to see many more. Contra anyone?

Back Update....
Well folks i just got home from the doctor's office and i think it was all good new's lol. They took a urine sample to check my kidneys and also some xrays to see if anything was broken or cracked. Urine came back that there was a few blood/white cells in it which would be caused from a bruised kidney but nothing to worry about and just to keep an eye on the color of my urine...alrighty then. They took tons of xrays and it showed tissue damage to my lower back and that my spine is being pushed to the left, they said due to the muscle spasms...yea ok. So they gave me a shot in my hip of dilaudid and toradol which has me feelin A OK haha. They also prescribed me some muscle relaxers and pain meds and to put ice on my back at least three times a day...yea if you say so. Point of my blog i suppose is that im fine and thank all of you who offered advice and cared. Also may i add if i act a tad loopy for the rest of the day its totally not my fault LOL Thanks 4 Reading

Sorry guys, this isn't one of my infamous rants. This is me being a whiny brat. I was raised in Austin, TX. though oblivious at the time, I loved it there. No matter what your scene, there's something for you. No matter what your income, there's something for you to do. No matter what your personality is like, you will have friends. The live music the nightlife....everything is just...great. The problem is, I have lived all over upstate NY (and PA)for the last 8 years. 3 Weeks Of Sad News
Just me again wow it has been a difficult 3 weeks around here. Ive had so much personal stuff to deal with. I always count myself as fortunate that I have been able to be with and know my family for as long as I have...but its still hard. My Uncle passed away around 3 weeks ago. He went in for routine knee surgery and there were complications and he passed. Im very thankful I got to spend Thanksgiving this year with him and he had 81 wonderful years with us all. He will be very sorely missed. A true gentleman. Three weeks later...my Grandma (Gran) passed away. Its been said that going to her brothers funeral really took its toll on her. She passed peacefully on friday. She was a hard working person who always had a smile for everyone she ever met. She also lived 83 years as well. These past few weeks have been crazy. It seems like I've done nothin but move, move, move. I lived in Texas for awhile, came back to Oklahoma to stay with my parents for a little while. Shocking videotape of police in Washington state assaulting a 15-year-old Black girl in a police cell has been released. In it, 31-year-old sheriff’s deputy, Paul Schene, kicks and pushes the girl, grabs her by her hair and slams her to floor. Then, he pulls her by her hair and takes her out of the cell. The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating the incident, according to Komo News out of Seattle. Despite the graphic video, Assistant U.S. Attorney Kelly Harris, who handles civil rights cases for the department, said his office was aware of the incident when King County prosecutors filed charges, but “we didn’t have a lot of information to go on at that point.” Shortly after the videotaped incident, the girl complained about having trouble breathing. Trip To The Doc
A few weeks ago my son went to the dr. for his 3 month checkup. I explained to him that he was twitching, usually 1st thing in the morning or before bed and also while he was sleeping. A few years back I expressed the same concern but the doc said it was his body's way of saying he was tired. I accepted that for the time being because it was always as soon as he woke up or at night when the body is tired most. Now that it's still going on they want to schedule an EEG in order to check the brain for seizures. Appointment day is here (today) and I am supposed to wake him up at 5:00 am and keep him awake for 9 hours prior to this appointment, without giving him sugar or caffiene during this time. Yeah ok! Cold Pizza And New Clothes

3/4/09 - Update On My Gram
my gram had her surgery. She had an infection in her colon & had a foot of it removed. She is in the ICU in Critical condition. She has a colostomy bag, wires & tubes everywhere and a catheter. She will be in the hospital for 8-10 days & then she will go to the nursing home for rehabiltation. The colostomy bag will be reversed after she is all better and the catheter will be removed then also. Plz pray for her. They say it will take about 12 wks for her to get all better. I've been working on developing my own blog site to be the collective point of all of my creative works. I want one location to have everything I have done. 5th Entry
I have a hard time when ever I talk about what I seek in a woman, because I get caught up in the thinking of "why do I think I deserve such a woman" or "who am I to expect so much". Put Me On A Leash N Call It A Day
Well friends woe is me as i sit here in the worst pain i think ive felt in a long time. Just as things start to look pretty damn good as far as my ankle goes my clutzy self just had to mess that up. About 1am this morning i had let the dogs out and as i was letting them back in i tripped over the leash and fell directly on top of my daughter's scooter back first. As i hit the scooter i could hear my back cracking and it knocked the wind out of me, so i think i must have layed on the ground in shock about half an hour before i could even move. My back is throbbing and it hurts to walk or even bend over and its like it radiates around to the front of my kidneys. I literally had to cry myself to sleep as it hurts to even breathe. Today is even worse, my entire body feels like its been run over by a mack truck. I called my doctor and they cant get me in until the morning and i refuse to go sit for hours in the emergency room so looks like ill be crying mlf to sleep again tonight. I really

Well I went last week to start testing to donate a kidney to my mom. Unfortunately I was informed today that i was not going to be able to do it.. I am pretty devistated right now.. I was really wanting to help my mom out.. I only wish that things would have been different but unfortunately they werent.. The Perverbial Other Shoe....
Distance is the ultimate game killer. Miles are the only thing that seperates alot of people from someone that more than likely could be their soul mate. If you stop and think about it on a realistic view, the truth is maybe the distance is better for a relationship. You can't really mistake feelings you develope over a phone conversation, or over the net. When you haven't touched each other, in other words had sex, you can't mistake to many feelings with the warm after glow of sexual comapitablity. Once you have traversed the miles and been with that person, it sets into motion alot more than you were expecting. Especially when there is that comfort you get from each other. In the few days and nights you spend with each other, blissfully satisfied through sexual completion, a comfort zone that is just being near each other, maybe not always touching but being able to look over at each other and seeing them sitting there, or just to hear the steady breathing while they sleep. Feeling Good And Wanting More
Yup I feel pretty good right now. I am content. I like a lot of things about my life. But I need more. Isn't it crazy when you know you need something but you cannot put your finger on what it is. You don't want to settle, but you don't know what you want. I'm really passionate about life and very driven. That does not always make the people around me happy. I always get asked why I want more, why I need more, why can't I be satisfied. All this does not mean that I am upset, frustrated, angry, etc. I accept life as it is. Opportunities come up, but not when and how I want them. As far as my profile is concerned, this is kind of an experiment. I am not putting up a picture or personal information. Rock And A Hard Place
Things have gotten so outta hand. They weren't supposed to end here but now I feel as if I have to make all feelings go away, have to make it seem as if everything I feel isnt real. I dont want to be the reason they end but I dont know as that I can hide it if the feelings continue to be strong. Everything is falling apart and I dont want to see any of it happen. I have been trying to go a different way to make things so much easier but now I dont know what to do or think. I have found myself a hole...one that I cant figure out how to get out of. Concerning Times In Chicago Living.
My favorite big cities are Chicago, Berkeley, and Austin Texas. I lived in Chicago 4 years while pursuing graduate studies in math at U of Chicago, on full fellowship -- National Science Foundation Traineeship. I lived in Hyde Park neighborhood of course, in married student housing. I also attended Northern Baptist Theological Seminary one quarter -- concurrent with U of Chicago. Doing both proved to be too much for me, so I quit seminary although I was getting straight As. I also participated 2 years in a food coop called "Cornucopia" which eventually failed. It was citywide, wanting to assist poor people get better bang for their buck. I was the leader of a group of 30 families that participated. I collected the list of items, went down to Cornucopia location & purchased, & took them to location to be distributed amongst us.
