I have a sister who was diagnosed with liver cancer in 1989 and was given 9 months to live. Her doctor told her about this this doctor who was doing experimental liver transplants. First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes.. That's right, I want to be a loser, and I've been working hard on it for the last week now. I first started having problems with my weight about 10 years ago. From 1996-2002 I had a total of six surgeries, four were major. The most major was in 1998 and I was in the hospital for two months. For half of that time my stomach and liver were both infected and I couldn't eat or drink anything at all. I survived strictly on IV fluids. 8 Week's To Go ...1/8/09
today was my last ultra-sound appt and i'm just 8 week's away from my due date...He is 4.3lbs and 18.5 inches he'll gain about half a pound a week which will be a full pound every 2 week's so my guess is he'll be around 8 to 8.5lbs when he's born :D

I guess 2009 is going to be a philosophical year for me…. Why must one’s wants invariably become another’s burden or heartache? I just got back from my husband's speech therapy session and he is progressing excellently. My husband inquired a support group for stroke survivors at the hospital and found out there is none from what the speech therapist said. My husband wants to start a support group and he highly recommended the Wii Fit be used in physical therapy at the rehab center and they have been trying to get one for several weeks. But, they cannot find them anywhere. My husband said we had one in layaway at KMart for weeks before Christmas and bought the Wii Fit at Walmart when they came in and they had not put out on the floor yet. They hope to find one soon. He did say that my husband is progressing very fast and he is one of his most exciting patients for he is doing so well and his brain is getting along so fast so quick. My husband is going to check into creating a support group for stroke survivors at the hospital real soon. He would be good at that.

Water Usage
Jennifer and Jim kept getting huge water bills. They knew beyond a doubt that the bills weren't representative of their actual usage, and no matter how they tried to conserve, the high bills continued. Although they could see nothing wrong, they had everything checked for leaks or problems: the water meter, outdoor pipes, indoor pipes, underground pipes, faucets, toilets, washer, ice maker, etc., all to no avail. I am just writing to get some of this off of my chest. Dad is still in the hospital and getting worse. He is so sick and in my mind and body I know he isnt going to ask much longer. I hate to see him suffer the way he has. He is still on the ventilator and they cant get him off of it because he has attacks where he cant breathe if they lower it. They did trials and turned off the ventilator and he tolerated it for 3 hours the days he has done this. He has lost all of his muscle tone, shakes all the time, and now he has gotten an muscle twitch. He can lay there and just all at once his left side just twitches very hard. He told his nurse its like he has a shock. He had a mini stroke when he was up in the Columbus Hospital and now his left side has been pretty messed up. He has gotten up and walked like 14 steps and then back to the bed with the help of an walker. I just dont know what to think anymore. Commute Part 2
Gotta love public transportation. You run into sooooo many new and exciting people. Like last night. Once again, waiting for the bus. MINDING my own business when I see this guy that regularly begs making his rounds. Now this guy is a gem. Older black man. First time I saw him was on the bus. He got on with his Hello Kitty back pack (don't ask) "crying". His mama stole his disability check, cashed it and left him with nothing. Me being me, I started laughing. Could have been the Hello Kitty back pack or the fact that a child could fake cry better than him. From then on, I began to see him regularly. Next time his mama was dead. Another time he claimed to be a Vet (yeah, this one pisses me off especially when you know they're not a Vet) and needed to get to the VA hospital. Then for awhile he used the same line and hit me up for money every day for a week. My favorite was he was from San Francisco and was trying to get money for the Grayhound bus to get back there! LOL

I Don't Wanna Go Back To Ga
Looks like I gotta go back. I'm going to try driving at night tonight. I used to drive at night all the time in undergrad, but it was only an hour away. I Get High With A Little Help From My Friends
I've had a hard time thinking lately so I'd appreciate a little extra brainpower on this one since I'm kind of pressed for time here. I've been stressing about finding a job. But then yesterday I thought, "maybe I'm going about this wrong." So here is my question. Does it make sense for me, being a homeowner, to take a year and a half off, live on student loans and hurry up to finish school? To take loans out to pay my mortgage and monthly expenditures? I did some figuring last night and it would cost me roughly $30,000 per year. If I continue working though, school could take me maybe 3 more years and right now (or I guess I should say the job I'm about to leave) I make $24,000 a year. And the degree I'm about to get would earn me twice that when I'm finally done. I don't like the idea of going into that much debt but at the same time I'm tired of not having a defined career and I'm not getting any younger. If I keep on like I am I'll be 32 before I finally complete colleg

Yesterday as some of you may know I went with my girl Daphne to the plasma center in Hampton. I am able to donate between 600 and 700 milliliters. I am glad to do it because I get paid for it but it also benefits everyone because it helps make medicine and helps babies and other stuff. I use about an hour to an hour and a half, my plasma and in return I get about 60 a week for doing this. It also gets me out of the house. It gives me some money to have when I wanna go to VB and when I want stuff.

This story goes back to summer of 1992. I had been in Berlin for over 4 years and was scheduled to rotate back stateside soon. Growth Spurt?
For as long as I lived (or had boobs), my left one was almost a size smaller, creating woes for me (not really, but I felt weird about it). All of a sudden, last week I woke up and for some bizarre reason decided to look down my shirt, and... OMG! not only was the "bad" one the size of a good one, it was almost slightly larger. Kids Say The Damndest Things
This is a cute one in my memory. When Stephanie was little she had a HUGE imagination. Actually she still does have a great imagination and that's made her pretty creative as she's grown up. So we're all eating at McDonalds, she's about 4 years old. And she clears a spot in front of her and starts laying her french fries in order, tallest to shortest. Been Sick Lately And Have Some Important News Plz Read!!!!
I have not been on much since my break from college. Just the other day I spent a good amount of the day in the hospital. I had been sick for almost six days and was not able to eat hardly at all and was in a lot of pain. I had to be given fluids through an IV. My blood pressure was low. I was luck that they decided I could go home with a couple a pills to take and to come back for more tests. To all of my friends that have been wondering no new updates on the whole Kidney thing yet still shrinking as far as I know. I hope to hear from you all soon. Life Changes
The past two days I have learned to never take anything for granted. We take our health, family and friends for granted everyday. When life takes a turn we are shocked at how something could intrude on our normal everyday existance. My father was being treated for high potassium which caused leg tremors/spams. Tuesday he had a seizure from it which resulted in an emergency room visit and then a various scans. These led to brain cancer, and then lung cancer alas cancer in the adrenal gland. He still has not had a biopsy, but the Dr's mentioned stage 4 cancer. The cancer in his brain is about thesize of a quarter and they say it is new and has been there about three weeks. They are unable to do any types of surgery because they are afraid of clotting and immediate death. His cancer is aggressive. I am not ready to lose my dad. I am thankful that I have been able to make him feel special on many occasions during his life, that I told him I loved him after almost all telephone conversation

My Husband
I just wanted to spread the word that my husband went back to work yesterday ... and he is driving too. He went about 50 miles yesterday driving around and he also went to a meeting last night. Update From Accident
So i have been suffering these migraines as the doctor called it today. As well as still 33 days after the accident i stillhave post concussion. WTF?? I know, my thoughts also! So went in today because the pain is damn near becoming intolerable. Plus there is a lump on my head that is growing in size. So i found out that is called something like a hemotoba (i think) thats what the dr. said. Says it should judt go away. But when i asked him why it was getting larger, he had no answers. Again..WTF? So overall, my symptoms are worsening, i was referred to a specialist, and was informed it has already cost almost 7,000 to repair my unfinished car at this point! Blue book is at like 12,000! Why aven't they totaled it? Thought it was suppose to be like 65% car value? Am i wrong on that? So anywho i will wait and see what this specialist says. I have finally realized why i have been so upset and constantly wondering where and what my bofriend is doing. I am absolutely in love. i would do anything for this guy. I would make him breakfast in bed on weekends, rub his tummy when he has ate too much, take care of him when he is sick, listen to everything he had to say, make him his favourite meal when he is just feeling down. I would do anything for him. I am not sure how to get that across. I try to do as much as i can. I try to help him out with everything. The Christmas Gift....
Year after year I spend all I have for my kids... Down to the last penny with out one thought of regret. I don't expect anything and have not for the last 10 years until this year... I have a person in my life that means the world to me... I have the most wonderful kids that anyone can ask for... If you ask me if I received everything I wanted, I would probably say Yes... Restraining Order &&& Family Issues
My mom is fuckin stupid I love her to death but she is stupid. The courts put a restraining order against her and Roger my stupid father who i despise. Anyways, He is in jail right now and my sister has a restraining order against him to so I'm the only one who can answer the phone but I HATE him so why the hell do I want to do that? Well I did because I'm sick of him!! he had the chance to change when he got out of prison the first time it's not my fault he got into trouble again and ended up in jail. My mom won't stop crying and expects me to talk to him or give her the phone but the phone conversations are being monitored at all times with him. It is time ... Fu has -finally- hit my limit. Jan 1 I purchased a Level 4 Blast ($50) for a friends Birthday. Paypal completed the transaction, yet no Blast was delivered. PM's to Scrapper, and follow-up emails to Support have fallen on deaf ears. Scrapper read the PM 2 hours after I sent it, yet not even an acknowledgement. The silence is deafening. This is not the first time that a Paypal transaction has 'burped'. The most recent occurrence, Scrapper took care of it and then some .... Kudos. This IS the first time that Fu Admin has refused to acknowledge an accounting error. Now I understand that it is the Holidays and personnel are on vaca .... BUT .... I was at work today and was sending messages to my love. She sent me one saying I Love You! I replied by saying prove it... she replied with how can i do that... I said only you can know that... a few minutes passed... I ended up getting an email from the receptionist.. when i began to read it... it said... you just received a phone call from Ida and she wanted me to tell you that she love's you very much and miss you with all her heart...
