Thoughts
Why is it when a good person helps out those in need, it seems that the hammer falls hardest on that person. Is it not true that if you help some one it comes back tenfold. But yet it never happens. So is it realy worth al the trouble to help someone out? I think that all it brings is nothing but pain and suffering to those that help out. There never will be any form of payback or help from above, no matter how many times you help people out (even unknown people). The only good thing that will come from this is just a big pile of crap!

Real Steel is out of Cleveland - New Philadelphia, Ohio. They have a record label with Retrospect Records. Their influences are Rainbow, U.F.O., Judas Priest, Thin Lizzy, Kiss, Van Halen, Deep Purple, and Savatage. Real Steel emerged from the incredibly fertile Cleveland Ohio Metal Scene of the eighties. End Of Day 2...
So I finished Plyometrics. I made it all the way to the end instead of almost gagging.... So to people who don't understand this will sound really strange...buuuut..... Plyometrics wore me out. My legs feel like noodles and I can hardly walk normally. It's great, and I can't wait until tomorrow. This is the kind of hurt I was looking for. It's great, and I am ready for tomorrow. My Weekend Meeting David Campbell

Stop Staring At Me
I just went to the store with the roomie. There was a kid from one of my classes there. All he did was stare at me from the second I walked in till I walked out and then when he left the store all he did was stare at me. Gwar Rocked Atlanta!
So, I went to see GWAR, live at the Masquerade in Atlanta, GA last Friday and they kicked some hardcore ass! I have an awesome time!! It was really a once in a lifetime experience for me and I'm so glad that I got the chance to see them. National Champions, Again!!!
WOW!!! What a crazy week. Made it to Kansas City on Thursday afternoon. Team arrived Friday. We practiced and got ready and on Sunday went out and raced. My Men’s Team finished fourth overall and my Women’s team finished second overall to capture the overall team title. That is the Div II Cyclo Cross National title!!! I am so proud of these kids. That is two National Championships in a row for these young riders. Glad to be home and proud to say that I have now coached teams to three National titles in one year. A new record in college cycling. It is so surreal to me that we have accomplished this in our first year. Thanks to everyone who sent us support and cheered for us. Doug

So it is the day after working out..and I'm a little disappointed in myself. All things considered I am marginally to very little sore. I see that I didn't push myself hard enough to actually affect change. So, I have done enough exercise to feel the hurt (the good hurt all body builders, martial artists, and general health nuts know about), but it is so meager that I feel I have let myself down. 10 Days To Go
Here I sit this morning with only 10 days to go before I take this leap off into the unknown. I have never made a decision quite so quickly before in my life. Truth be told I am scared to death. When giving birth you have 9 months to prepare yourself. When you get married you have the engagement period to prepare yourself. I made this decision on a whim and now I am just plain terrified. What if I get to where I am going and hate it. What if I just put a monkey wrench in all the goals and dreams I had set for myself? These are all things I think of. Rehabilitation
The concept of rehabilitation these days is lost I think. I believe that at some point prisons, mental hospitals, drug rehabs, etc. were truly meant for rehabilitation and realease. Now if you have a drug problem you get 10 days in rehab if you're lucky and then you're back on the streets. Unless you are wealthy that's about as much care as you're going to get. The prison part really hits home for me. My oldest son's father was convicted of capital murder in 1998. He was then sentenced to life in prison, which in Arkansas is anywhere from 15 years to life depending on the governor. He has spent 10 years rotting in the prison system so far, and they have done nothing but turn a man with problems into a monster. He isn't even really human. He has no clue on how to express feelings, any emotion comes out in an explosion. Guards bring in whatever they think they need from the outside: drugs, tobacco, cologne, watches, cell phones. Pretty much anything an inmate can pay for.

The First Week
Well so far, I have finished week one of my husband being gone and I hate it. I miss him so much, he is part of my every thought and dream. I can't even go to sleep and be peaceful. He calls me and everyday he sounds worse and worse and that scares me. I just want him to be happy and focused on what he is doing. He can call every other day, but its only for 10 mins at a time. I always feel frustrated because I didn't get to tell him everything I wanted to tell him. I'm always feeling the most sociable at night when everyone else in my life is asleep. Go figure. I have the most whacked out schedule since I work a lot of evening shifts at my job. So I'm up til 3 or 4 in the morning, sleeping til noon or 1, and then going to work, and repeat til my next day off or until I get a slight schedule change. It's going to be really hard for me to adjust once I start going back to school. I'm going to need to go to bed at a decent time, get up early, have class, go to work, study, and have time for the boyfriend. Should be pretty hectic, but I guess it's better than the whole lot of nothing I'm doing right now. To have a goal in my life again feels pretty good. No more of the same old blah blah blah everyday. A Family Christmas
Growing up my family was very unorthodox. Last Thursday I took my psychology test. Top 10 grade. No biggie. =P I THINK I passed my english class. If i don't i am going to die. I do NOT want to take english again and then FINALLY take the course that is required of me. Blah. Anywho... Woooo, what a day. I took my biology and math final today. The biology exam pissed me off. My professor did NOT ask me ONE question about global warming or the water cycle. yet he kept bitchin' about it during class. Argh. Anywho, I think I passed with D. hehe. Next, my math exam was pretty good. I knew most of it but one fucking problem was pissing me off. I think i got that one wrong but i KNOW i'm passing with an A. hehe.

Hospital Visit
Ladies, and Gents. On December 5th of this year, I broke my foot in five places. I was just walking around the house, and I heard a snap, my knee buckled, and fat man hit the floor. I honestly thought I'd broken my tib or fib by the way it sounded. When I looked down, holy hell, my foot was like the size of a soft ball and a half. After the shock wore off, I called dad, and he called the Ambo and they took me to the hospital. On the way to the hospital I was in so much pain. I was screaming, and cussing. The paramedic gave me 50mg of Demorol, and then another 25mg. They had to cut me out of my socks, boxers and such. I laid in the ER while they were trying to figure out what to do, they gave me something, and boom I was out. I don't remember a damn thing. Mom and dad said I was very combative, and I have no idea. I remember laying in the ER, and that was it. I woke up in another room, and my family was there. I still hurt like a son of a bitch, but they hooked me

Finally, Some Halfway Good News...
The surgical oncologist feels that it is safe to wait for my mastectomy until after my cruise on Feb. 1-6. So I'll be able to make it through the holidays, NYE concert, and cruise without worrying about pain or only having 1 boob or being lopsided or anything. And I shouldn't have many problems getting the surgeons I've already seen, so I should be able to avoid extra consultations. The only downside is now I don't get to wear a "cancer survivor" tshirt on the cruise :P And there's still a chance the cancer will grow and become invasive by then... but this "blessing" by the oncologist is taking a HUGE load off my mind. At Home Pc Crashed

Customer service is a big part of my job. It is inevitable that I will have to talk to a customer or help them with a problem...sick people, the elderly, the lonely, the addicted...it's all part of the job. And, I'm a good faker. I genuinely like a few of the people who come in, but those are rare gems. The phone rings off the hook all day and most times it's addicts asking over and over again if their doc has phoned in their vicodin, their lorcets, xanax, klonopin, valium, pills in white, pink, blue, green...a rainbow of delicacies. Sometimes they also want to discuss their constipation troubles or ask if they can come show you their latest rash, wart, boil or *cringe* discharge. Another Year
December 14, 2008 make's 11 years since my lil angel went to heaven, How much I miss her. I can't believe it's been this long already it seems like yesterday I was at the hospital having her. I sit back today and I look at her pics and watch her video. Another Christmas without her. I know she is in a better place, But my heart still hurts, I have this Hole in my heart that still is empty. I move forward every year but the pain is still there.

Christmas....what does it mean to me? it means family get together, neices and nephews ect..my sister andhe kids and their kids turkey and ham dinners, desserts and opening presents. But its sad for me too for my mom passed away and Christmas just isnt Christmas without her and my das who passed away in 1985. December 15, 2008 at 1:30am I'm sitting here and my mind is a stir, it won't shut down. I just lost my mother and now the family is falling apart. That wasn't that big a shocker. I remember telling mom that she was the only person keeping this family together, once she was gone. I was right. I'm at peace with mom passing, matter of fact I didn't shed a tear at the funeral. Yes I cried at her home when she passed. I had to go outside and I remember leaning on Roses shoulder and it was a very wet and stormy night. Thank God for Rose and her being there, I really needed her. I do love my wife and my kids but some how I've managed to be a poor husband and an even worse father. Anger and rage seems to feel my heart and it has so for some time at the world and even at times with God himself. I've gotten over being angry with him concerning my health. Being born with a bad heart but through his wisdom he has given me many opportunities to bounce back through guided hands of skilled surgeons.
