I Just Never Seem To "fit In"...
I had a couple of great neighbors on the street I lived in two years ago. One of them I still keep in contact with. Surgery
I had my surgery this morning. It went well. I had to be in there at 8 am. I was taken back to the OR at 915 and was out of there (apparently) about 10. I woke up around 11. I was home by 1230 ish. Pain meds every 4 hours. Sleep in between. Yawn.

Okay so most of the people in my world know that I am going into the hospital Thursday July 31 to have a hysterecomy, granted there are a few that do not. I hate to say this but sometimes I wonder if I shouldn't just live with the pain I am dealing with until menopause hits. I have been seeing doctors for years, yes YEARS over the problems that my monthly vistor brings, I have been given one bullshit reason after another as to what is causing the monthly bitch to be so damn bitchy, the doctors had my history, including my family history. I honestly sounded like a broken record with each new doctor telling them, 'both of my grandmothers had hysterectomies at relatively young ages, I do not know why and my mother had endometriosis and went through menopause at 38.' Did they ever once decide that they should look into this? HELL NO! What I have been told: ~Stress ~Two Children too close together (how about the fact that I have had this problem before I even had children???)

My Life The Past Two Weeks

I have come to find out that replacing the clutch in a front wheel compact sedan is like trying to nail jello to a tree.... Goat Cheese And Pesto Pizza
By popular demand, I have made a cooking blog. Please don't expect gourmet recipes, I'm not a gourmet, I'm just a kitchen mad scientist. So, without further ado, yesterday's cooking experiment: Personal goat cheese and pesto pizzas! I wanted to make pizza, but I really didn't feel like dicking around with dough and yeast and all that mess, so I thought I'd get frozen pizza dough at my local supermarket. Apparently that is something that only exists in my imagination, because they didn't have it. I hate that Boboli crust bullshit, plus they're too expensive, so I bought some pita bread instead. I also picked up some pre-made basil pesto, ricotta cheese (fat free, thank you very much, some of us are a little pudge-a-riffic), and lemon goat cheese. I didn't specifically look for lemon goat cheese, but it was on sale, along with cranberry goat cheese, and I thought it would go well with pesto. I was out at the bar last night and you know how people get drunk and do stupid things. Well at least I thought this guy was drunk anyway, he was with his girlfriend and she apparently found out that he'd been cheating on her. She was trying to break it off but he wouldn't let her. The next thing i saw was his fist hit her on her cheek. I grabbed a friend of mine who was also at the bar and we walked over to see if she was ok and dude pulls out a switch blade. I was like what the fuck you know. I had only one beer so I was still very much sober. Someone had called the police and when they showed up I had the guy on the ground because he had tried to stab her!!! Now this is another classic incident of how men are assholes!!!

I got a lot of things going on personally and professionally, so I just need to step back and evaluate my life and I have many choices to make..does the internet interfere? When you think you know someone, how well do you really? I've been stepped on and crushed to many times in my life and you'd think I'd learn my lesson or atleast know the signs of what's to come but do I see them? Nope, some say it's because I'm kind hearted and a wishful thinker, that may be true, but I'm really getting sick and tired of it. I've since decided to go about my life as a hermit would, just keep to myself and block everyone else out. I've also decided to not speak to anyone until spoken to, I don't have any friends in life but I do have some really awesome acquaintances that will hopefully someday turn into true friends.

A Few Things I've Learned Along The Way

Suffering
My wanderings in life have been many and widespread. I think myself an experienced individual who only rarely comes upon things which I find daunting. Recently I made a return to Fubar, though the last time I was here it was called Lost Cherry. Upon returning I immediately submerged myself back into the mumms. I've seen all the super hero movies this summer. Wanted: Good movie I will be reading the comic to compare it but it was a twisted movie iron Man: BEST MARVEL MOVIE EVER! Sure has been an insane time for me lately. My brother came to stay for 2 weeks. It was supposed to be 11 days but he wanted to go home Monday instead of Friday so it went 2 weeks. I was tickled pink! We mended some wounds that have bothered me for quite a long time. Time will tell if he will come again to visit but he said in front of Aunt Liz that he does want to.
