My Fitness Kick
The plan is: Lower body fat Increase lean muscle mass To do this I have started doing cardio in the mornings (before breakfast) along with an abdominal workout. The "cardio" is really a 40 minute interval workout on the eliptical trainer where i keep my heart rate at 140 for three minutes, then at 126 for three minutes. Then I'll do some abdominals: situps, leg raises, side lateral raises, cable crunches, ab machine now and then (the ab machine is more a begining level exercise I think, but I'll add it sometimes when I get the urge :) ), and side planks. I'll do one or 2 sets of each exercise. This morning I added weight added step exercises, I held 25 pounds in each hand and did 2 sets of ten on each side. This is new and I'm not sure If I will keep it, expand on it, or dump it. I'll probably leave it the same for awhile just to see what the results are. In the afternoons/evenings I do my wieight training. I'm presently on a push/pull routine. I'll do my back and

Women And Football
Contrary to what some men might think, there are women who like Football. I am one.....I LOVE Football. Being Canadian, I of course love the CFL. GO Alouettes GO!!!!!. But after the CFL season ends, I am all NFL. My Sundays are devoted to flipping the channels, it's tough to watch 3 games at the same time. Chicken wings, beer, popcorn are my companions, plus Kim my roomate of course. We scream, we cheer, we complain, we laugh and we have a blast. My favorite teams, now that will make some of you go.....Huh???? I absolutely love the Saints. The Colts, the Patriots and the Giants are also some of my favorite teams. 39 Weeks Prego
ok so i am 39 weeks as of today and the doctors have been telling me for the last 3 visit any day now, lol, i have been at 4cm dialated for three weeks. the doctor and i have agreed that if i go in next week at 40 weeks and nothing has changed we are going to go ahead and induce the labor. everyone is getting anxious about her arrival.

Feelings
Just wanted to let everyone know why I haven't been on here today. We got a new puppy on Saturday. He was doing real good until yesterday. Then he wouldn't eat or drink anything. I tried anything and everything I could think of, but he wouldn't touch a thing. So, this morning I called the Vet and they said to come on in. When I went to the carrier to get him, he couldn't hardly stand up this morning. Went to the Vet they said they thought he had Parvo. So they did a test and sure enough, he did! I was heartbroken!! They gave me an estimate on the cost of care through Friday. I about fainted, almost $400!! The Vet said they had a blood test they could do to get a better idea of his odds. Well while they were running the blood test, he stopped moving and whinning. I called for the Vet and she came and took him away to check him. Came back and said his heart was about to give out. So, we decided with the Vet's help that the best thing to do would be to go ahead and put him to sleep. I di

My Mysterious World

My Thoughts
I have two young children and the cartoons today are just plain dumb. Why can't they bring back the old ones like bugs bunny, mighty mouse, and woody woodpecker. My kids would rather watch tom and jerry or popeye on boomerang than things like flapjack or fairly odd parents. The old ones are the best but you can't find them. I have on demand but they play the same ones and you only have 5 to choose from. So I feel like we need to petition the makers of these cartoons to bring them back.

The Unintentional Stalker!
OK, so I tend to complain a lot. And one of my pet peves is lazy, selfcentered, inconsiderate morons, who refuse to pull forward when they are done at the fuel island. She and I can attest first hand that atleast the animals at that Zoo are treated with positive rienforcement. Well, it was the opening game for the Football Season. My very sweet friend/sister has went recently had to have some major dental work done. Well, it wasn't bad enough that I lost my best friend of almost 20 years to Hurricane Katrina, but now, 3 days before the anniversary of her death, her 16 yr old daughter was killed in a auto accident. So when our office decides to go to a 9 day schedule, they tell us we will probably be denied, the damn memo that went out said to encourage your employees to consider this, and then they turn around and tell you that you are going to probably be denied, the only thing that i can see that encouraging is me wanting to tell this place to go to HELL and to find someone else to dump shit on and then never remove when someone else can do it.
