I am more than a fan of shibari. I am an expert on that art, and I have been working on being a master of it for over 15 years.
No, I do not feel I treat women as sex objects, but many would disagree. In fact I have been working on the art, and The models are really the knots. So, I guess I treat women as an object.. just like any other photographer would.. guilty as charged hehe.
For most of you I will explain.
Shibari-
Shibari (‚µ‚΂è, Shibari?) is a Japanese verb that literally means "to tie" or "to bind" . It has become common usage to describe what is really..Kinbaku which is bondage.
Shibari uses positions to heighten the psychological impact of bondage. It is derived from ancient torture. Each master mixes different techniques, creating his own style. It uses very few knots, which is the hard part.
As I do this part time, and have met friends in the industry, who allow me to practice my art in exchange for work, or consultation. I have had to learn various aspects as I can afford some assistant and I have learned about cosmetics and lingerie.
You have to add visual stimulation to the art as well. I try to go over the top in all the aspects. Lace, and nylon to soften the image of the ropes. There are very few parts of a woman I dont find sexy.
Over the years, I have tried to refine my photography, to capture the essence of what I feel is beauty. Trying to capture the just right look. Which in turn I have learned a lot about women. The models I work with are very experienced who love bondage and usually want tighter bondage than I am willing, which causes them to laugh and giggle.
My friends are always amazed at why I know so much about shoes, how I can spot a certain brand of heel, know the difference between a stiletto, a slingback, an oxford, or a pump. How I know the difference between a triangle, a pushup, a demi, an underwire bar. RHT, french heel, european heel and pantyhose. IT is all because one I find these sexy as hell on women and 2) because it helps my art.
Not bad for a straight guy lol.
To me it has always been legs and the curve of a woman's back that I find sexy. That captures my attention, but to keep my attention, it is their witt and charm that keeps me.
Ok because I like to tie up women and sometimes have sex like that, I can be considered a pig. I love to undress lingerie and I find partially clothed women sexier than nude, I am a throw back to an earlier era.
I am not into heavy bondage or pain.. well ok like love taps and light playfull bites are fine.
Mostly I keep working on getting the knots and the whole picture just so. It can take hours for it to be just right.
