I went to see my ex-husbands son today at the juvenile facility he is locked up in. That is how my day started. We still consider each other mother and son. It was a good visit till he tried to get in between me and his fathers relationship since the divorce. He wants us back together and when he brought it up, I didn't tell him what he wanted/hoped to hear. Other than that, the visit went well. Sorry to all my friends that I haven't been in touch lately, I've been out Trucking with my Husband, see last month I was diagnosed with bone cancer, and it hit both of us pretty hard, so my husband came home and took me out with him to cheer me up, since I will be starting treatments towards the end of August. Religion In The Schools
My kids' school will not allow the kids to dress up for Halloween or have a party because they say it is a religious holiday and they don't want to offend anyone else's religious beliefs. They also will not allow xmas parties anymore for the same reason. This pisses me off! They want to keep religion out of the school to keep from offending anyone, but they force our kids to say "one nation under god" in the pledge of allegiance?!?!?! Why is that people never stop and look around anymore. Everyone seems to always on the go! You'd be surprised what you might see if you just stop and look around sometimes. You might see your next true love or smell something new that you just have to find out what it is. I sugest at somepoint you sit in a crowded area for just fifteen minutes and just look around. I think you'll like it! Why is that when your by yourself for a long enough time you start to think about things?
