I knew you were going to be the most important thing to me.

That is why I waited.  Waited to make sure that I would be ready.

I know that I would want to do everything right for you.

I had prepared my life for you, and when you finally entered my life, I'll never forget.

You were the most beautiful thing I had layed eyes had ever seen.

There was nothing I could have done to prepare myself.

Mentally, the only thing I could do is make sure I was ready.

Physically, having the the necassary resources to make sure I could support you.

The thing I wasn't ready for was how much I would love you.

How the mere sight of a picture of yyou would bring a smile to my face.

The feeling I got coming home and how no matter what you were happy to see me.

Never in a million years did I think that I could feel this way.

You changed me.  You made me a better man.  You made me want to better myself.

All just to make you happy.

It's an incredible thing , but I truly was not ready.

When you were born I really had no idea what to expect.

I knew some of the obvious, but there was a lot of the behind the scenes.

Yea, I made mistakes, hell I made quite a few mistakes.

But I never gave up, and when we were on our own.

I did what was necessary.  I loved you. And made sure you knew.

But eventually something happened and you were taken from me.

Someone became jealous and wanted to hurt me, and the only way they could do that is by taking you from me.

When you entered my life,  you were the only thing I loved.  And she took you from me because of it.

See the fact is, she couldn't win my love and you have my unconditional love.

So she wanted to get me back.

However, I know in the end we will be together again.

We'll be able to grow and learn together.

I love you my daughter.
