Remember that sometimes they can be taken away from you to soon.....my niece was recently taken from our lives, at the young age of 17, in an auto accident. Saturday October the 27th, 5:26 a.m. in a freak accident on Interstate 75. She will be missed so much by her family and friends, its hard to describe, you never know how it feels unless its happened to you. I still can't believe it, but its true, I think. She will be missed by so many people, but will always be remembered. She was an organ donor, so hopefully she has saved a few lives, so her soul will live on. And I'm sure lots of people will thank her for that. I wonder how her mom (my sister), and her dad will make it through, but I imagine they will. I just feel so bad for them, I couldn't imagine. When I saw Laci today it was amazing! She was so happy to see me and I loved holding her! Gosh have I missed her in the 24 hours she has been away. Thursday when the Doc examined her, she just had a tiny bit of feeling in her left leg.. outer toe. Today when he checked again.. He squeezed her little toes and she yanked away and turned and looked at him! I was so happy to see that!! She is getting some feeling back! I am to do some physical therapy exercises with her every day and continue to give her medication, and with any luck... my babygirl just may walk again. I know it will take time.. it won't happen over night. But her vet and I are hopeful that it could happen. I am very thankful she was so spunky today, just like herself.. only her back legs & bladder aren't working well but getting the feeling back is WONDERFUL news! I have come to find that some people have either lack of intellingence or lack of respect for others on here. I am sure I am not the only one that sees this. I believe that what someone comments to another is either acceptable to the person being commented or is left there to show the commenters lack of intellingence and respect for others. Now they are replacing a vein from his Legs with one from his neck that we don't use, I didn't know we had any extra.They said this is going to take about 3 hrs. Laid Off , Laid Out, Feels Like Im Down For The Count
This morning i got laid off, im fuckin crushed. Ive only been at this place for a month now, a brand new booming pub. With alot of sexual innuendos in the kitchen, ya see, im a chef by trade (along with others skills)..and the only woman in the kitchen. Now im not saying this is biast or prejudice but alot of it is based on one mans decision..*sigh*. Laid Off As Of Thursday Night!
I've been told and asked if I planned on coming on permanent at this shit hole. I'm moving this weekend to be closer to work. The foreman that kept telling me that I wouldn't be laid off was sent to Washington State for the week, and last night I was given the option of finishing the week or to just take off. Needless to say, I'm sticking it out. I fucking HATE being lied to, and I don't know how to tell my mom.

So I've been getting laid off occasionally since last March. Seperated from hubby around May, and have been paying all the bills that we had before he moved out on my own, or at least attempting to. He can't help, can barely afford to pay his own bills. Well I was laid off the last 2 weeks of November, really didn't mind. Went back to work Dec. 1st, but about wednesday came down with a nasty cold so I ended up missing wednesday through friday :| not good. Got a call last nite from work saying to come in and sign my lay-off papers. Yep, laid off now till the first of the year :/ Don't get me wrong, I don't mind being laid-off.
