Army Updates
ok well so many of you have known that i have been tryin to find a way to still join the army...i finally found it. joe and annie are gonna take the baby for me and i talked to the recruiter today. so we set some dates too. we want all my paper work done by the 30th of this month. want me to go take my physical and swear in by june 20th. and then be at basic by july 9th. so that is whats goin on right now i will let you all know what is goin on the closer we get to the dates. so i am finally gonna become a soldier:) Well I am still slowly going through all the shit to join the Army but Im starting to think twice about it due to my boyfriend. This is so f*ing cool... I've only been on my job for a little over a month and got promoted to the highest paying account in the company right now.:D All women will probably love this... October, 2006 saw the death of my mother-in-law…a phenominal lady. She was a music teacher for 30 years in the West Chester, PA. area and had a huge heart of gold…I’ll miss her dearly. My daughter, Kacie and her would sit for hours and play the piano when she was little….I so loved to see both of them side by side, laughing, smiling, giggling…what great memories. My mother-in-laws favorite Bird was the Cardinal. She would sit for hours and watch them at the bird feeder. Hi there just wanted to rant about taxes on simple IRA's. My husband took out a simple IRA through Morgan Stanley. The company that he works for would take out 3% of his earnings and place it into an account, and Morgan Stanley would match the 3% that we put in there....... Now it seems that the company didn't show that the taxes taken out of it and neither has Morgan Stanley, so it looks like we might have to pay taxes on that 3% which will totally suck....... we are supposed to get a credit on that not having to pay taxes on it, so i am hoping and praying that Mike(CPA friend) can figure this out and that way we won't have to pay taxes on it, but if we do i hope it's not that much...... I really don't think that I can handle much more. In the last week I've lost 3 people. I lost my great grandma on the 14th, I lost a friend (Jarrett Lane) on the 16th at Virginia Tech, and this morning I lost my great aunt. Everytime I turn around something is going wrong. My dad things I'am making up excuses on not to get a job. I mean I get sick a lot and won't be able to hold down one cause I might take a lot of sick days. Well so far this year has been pretty decent and hasent kicked me in the ass like many before. Ive decided that this year is going to be the year of making changes and not letting myself settle for just anything. Thats why I am joining the National Guard. My Deployment
Well my deployment is getting closer and closer. I got back from leave on Friday and luckily had today off, but sadly have to go back tomorrow. I have a very eventful night last night...... I went to hang out with some friends of mine after work last night and by 10:30 pm I had to go to the hospital to get checked out to make sure everything was alright (for those of you that dont know or I didnt tell sorry I am pregnant) I have a little over two months left to go and I started having contractions at about 11 pm last night and didnt get released til 9:30 am. I only slept about 2 to 2 1/2 hours between 8 am yesterday and now so I am exhausted to say the least. But yeah so anyways there isnt much else to report so I am going to end this for now. Hello everyone, I have just finished reading book 7, but know that some of you people have not, so I won't leave any spoilers. After seeing movies 1-5 and reading these books, I have to say I was very disappointed with the way the new Director has been handling the movies. The Director that did movies 1 and 2 did a great job and didn't leave too much out and gave Harry Potter fans a true Harry Potter Movie. Then from there, we got a new Director on board, and while the movies are great and the acting suberb they left out so much stuff I had to wonder if J.K Rowling didn't regret signing away her say so. Being an artist myself, I was horrified when I say how much the Director left out and believe that the things that we left out hurt the movie and that should they had been put in, the movie would have done better. Since this is my first blog here let me explain: I am an OTR (over the road) driver for the past 7 years. If you don't understand my terminology just ask will be happy to explain. And sorry for any typos get in a hurry and don't always spell check. Well I am outside of Lafayette, La today and am sitting till monday till I can deliver this load in Baton Rouge, La. I hate these 34 hour restarts but makes it nice next week when I have my full 70 hours to run on. Came out of Los Angeles area with this load. Nice miles. But to much time to get it to destination. Tried to drop but no one in area monday to deliver so am stuck with it. Will try to write as often as I can when I get a WI-FI signal.
