Real Talk
I saw this blogg this morning when I was on for a few mins. The content of this blog has really been under my skin. If not logging on to cerrytap after spending 12 hours on the computer looking at HTML code makes you a bad friend, then I'm guilty. If spending time with your family who rarely gets a chance to see you makes you a bad friend then, I'm Guilty. But how many of my friends who have my personal or business emails have taken the time to drop a line I set up another Myspace account yesterday and joined a bunch of yahoo groups. I received an email today from someone a tad upset that i leveled over them, when they joined CT first. How many times can you call someone an attention whore in one email. Omg!!!
Okay so I'm new here so not too many of you know dick about me. So here's a quick sum up; I'm in the Army Reserves. I enlisted January of last year and had 8 months of schooling for my job. I'm combat camera. I get to go overseas and be attached to some of the coolest units we have over there. I'll be deployed (as of right now) next fall to Iraq for a year boots to the ground. So this weekend is my first drill with my unit. It's actually a 3 day weekend cause we're going to Fort Bragg for pistol and rifle qualifying on the ranges. BUT before we do that fun shit...we have to go thru the gas chamber again. I just did this last May during Basic Training. Yea me I get to do it again so soon.!!!!! Its not all bad, just don't eat scrambled eggs for breakfast. Adios My Friend....
This is reposted from my yahoo blog and explains why I have not been around much... I woke up this morning with a small spring in my step. It was over 40 degrees and I decided to ride to work for the first time in over a month. I loaded the saddlebags with all of my work things such as my planner, lunch and the like. The ride in was pretty mundane but still appreciated. I get to work and open my work email first, then my yahoo email. And then, I see it....and loose all the air inside me when I realize ....I lost a friend. I have been riding for most of my life, since the age of 8 actually and have never lost a friend to the sport that I love so dearly. Today at approximately 1 AM Las Vegas time my friend Glen (everyone called him Gleno) was on his way home when a car pulled out in front of him. Here in Birmingham a woman left her 3 yr old son with her 9 yr old son. The house caught fire and the 9yr old tried to pull the 3yr old out of the blaze. She was charged with manslaughter for the death of the 3yr old. What I somtimes don't get is this, all of these ppl out there are having kids left and right while others can't have any. I am one of those who can't have any. I am blessed to be the mother of 3 children because of parents like her, but look at all the children who suffer because of these idiots out there who do the craziest shit. I have been a foster parent for 5 yrs and I have seen children that have been hurt so badly that there is no hope of changing them or helping them. It brings tears to my eyes to think that a woman who carried a child in her womb for 9 months and brought a precious gift into the world could do this. My Life
I look at pictures and all off sudden my mood goes from happy memories to being really sad... I miss the silly fights, the weird talks, the walks that I wished wouldnt end, but most of all I miss the smile. It contains the director's cut version running 143 minutes, a DVD containing a very good documentary, and the american TV version called "love conquers all", that was released without Terry Gilliam agreeing to it. I can't help but laugh at those who rate your profile/pictures.. 1. What losers, lol. They must really have a chip on their shoulder or their life must really suck. Honestly I felt older earlier this week and I definately feel older than I did when i truned 30. I know that would seem to be obvious but when I turned 30 I didn't feel it like I did this week, or even today, wehn I turned 31. We have met some pretty cool people on here, but there is one thing that has troubled us from day one. I'm A Dumbass
I did something stupid on Tuesday morning. I was walking to work and it was freezing and very windy. I decided to take a short cut. So with most of my face covered up to protect myself from the wind I walked off the sidewalk and into a neighbouring buildings parking lot. I took a few steps and fell on the icey parking lot. I landed on another large chunk of ice which bruised a few of my ribs and now I am very sore and struggling to move. I knew this wasnt safe and just because I am blind in one eye and partially blind in the other this idea should have registered as not something I should do! But I did and now am paying for it with incrediable pain. The lesson learned by me is I shoulda just stayed on the side walk in the cold for the extra ten minutes it would have taken. Wow, my first blog. I have a MySpace and a CherryTap account, but blogs aren't really my thing. I decided to write this one after an experience I had this last week though.... Woo Hoo!!! Made it to Denver Sunday night. Long ass trip but the house is still standing and other than the mouse colony in the garage it seems to be good. This Saturday after work I went with Martha to see a one-actor drama at Minot State University called “21A”. It’s named for a bus route in Minneapolis and set on the bus where the actor played eight different characters, each with their perspective on fifteen minutes waiting for the bus driver. Think the movie “Vantage Point” without the international implications. Martha is not an especially big fan of plays, but I suggested a few days before that it would be great to go, and she had fun in spite of herself! I'm In The Dilf Contest
When I talked about calisthenics there were three exercises that I brought up that I’ve applied the term “a girls best friend” to. Those exercises are squats, lunges and toe raises. If there is any one place where women usually want to improve it is their buns and legs. These three exercises do a multitude of good things and because of that, they have a tendency to be on the difficult side. With the squat you stand with your legs about shoulder width apart (you can adjust that when you start doing them) and lower yourself until the tops of your thighs are parallel with the floor and then push back up to standing. There are a lot of variations that can be applied to this but for now we’ll stay basic. This exercise will stress the quadriceps (front of the thighs), hamstrings (back of the thighs), calves, ankles, feet, abdominals, glutes and hips. That’s a lot of benefit from one exercise. Last night I decided that today after I dropped of Tristen at preschool that I would take Kieyah swimming at the YMCA in the big pool. Yesterday I went out bought her little swimmers (these diapers for the pool) and a over coat for her bathing suite. This morning I got up got both kids ready. Took the bus to the YMCA. Kieyah got her membership card her very own membership card. We dropped Tristen off. Then Kieyah and I went swimming. It took me 10 minute for her to let me put her in the water all the way. Then we found that big blue floating thing and she sat of that and moved around the pool. Played with her ball and splashed around. She had a great time. Trying to get her out of the pool was so hard. She didnt want to get out. We swam from 9am-11am but she had fun. This was her first time in a big big pool like that. So many days, so little blogs. It's strange, as much as I like to write, when it comes to writing about myself I absolutly stink at it. Still, it never stops me from giving a go at it. COVINGTON — A local woman was assaulted inside her home Thursday afternoon by her ex-boyfriend, who is accused of attempting to suffocate her, authorities said. According to Newton County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Bill Watterson, a man broke into the 26-year-old victim’s home in the Wagon Train Mobile Home Park located off Salem Road shortly before 1 p.m. Once inside, he reportedly attempted to suffocate her with an undisclosed object. “Judging from the signs of oxygen depravation, she was at risk of not being able to fight back, but she did come to and fight him off, which saved her life,” Watterson said. DAMN! This sucks. My family is planning to move by March 1st. So far, the only person whose done any substantial work is the damn cripple! (That would be me.) My truck and I have alot in common, we don't run anytime, much less in the cold. The thermostat in this house is set at 76 degrees, but it's only about 70-72. Scary Time For Me
Okay, I went to the hospital after my accident a little over a week ago. All was fine until I started feeling pains in my neck and upper back that started to stem into my left shoulder and then into my left arm. I decided to see another doctor to have that checked out. I thought I may be having heart problems, as there were some similarities, but that was not the case. I found out that my spine is collapsing. I have a degenerative disease that is eating away all of the discs in my spine. They told me yesterday that I need to have surgery to fuse the vertibra in my upper spine before it permanently paralyzes me. The thought of being paralyzed scares the crap out of me. I make my living doing physical activity, which would make me useless if I don't have this done. I already have a cage holding my ribs in place, that didn't scare me. I am slowly losing use of my left arm, which is really freaking me out. I was told that I have to have surgery on the 22nd of February. I will b

Cunstruction Worker
There was this construction worker on the 3rd floor of this unfinished building. He needed a hand saw, but was too lazy to go down and get it himself, so he tried to call his fellow worker on the ground to get it for him, but this guy could not hear a word he said. So he started to give a sign so the guy on the ground could understand him. First he pointed at his eyes (meaning "I") then pointed at his knees (meaning "need), and moved his hand back and forth describing the movement of a hand saw. Finally, the guy on the ground started nodding his head like he understood and dropped his pants and started to jerk off. The guy on the 3rd floor got pissed-off and ran down to the ground and started yelling at this guy, "You idiot, I was trying to tell you I needed a hand saw."
