As I close in on 40, I thought I'd share some of the knowledge and wisdom I've gained over the years: 1. I went on this tour about 2 and half years ago when I was stationed in Great Mistakes…I mean Great Lakes, Illinois. It was either July or August…forget which when I went on this tour. Started in downtown Chicago; we started at the Iroquois theater where back in 1903 a fire broke out inside killing thousands of people during a matinee. How Memories Are Made…
I'm sure you all had memories like these. They can be good and bad memories, we all seem to think of the bad memories first. Well I would like to try making you think of the really good memories. It will have a 4-link in the rear like Baha trucks have in the front and one of a kind A-arms for the front that will be fabricated in thier shop. When done some of you 4X4 guys might not like the look but you will love the comfort of the ride. Also when i get it back thier will be some new 20's color matched to my truck under it so that way they can tuck under the body and lay the truck on it frame so I can get in and out, along with a Reflex bed liner and a customized lift for my powerchair. Just had to take a break during my last day of packing to let you all know what I'm up to. As of tomorrow, I'll be away from the TAP for over three weeks as I embark on my dream adventure. With a group of old & new friends (some so new I haven't even met them yet!), I'll be navigating nearly 230 miles of the Colorado River through the Grand Fucking Canyon!!! I've wanted to do this since I was a kid & learned of the canyon & it's history, long before I ever even considered becoming a whitewater raft guide. But now, with 10 years of river experience under my belt and a few good connections, I feel more than ready to tackle the challenge! I've seen it done but always been too chicken(to blog). So here goes. Some are going to be mad because they have been there for me and they don't even know but when I got the lump out of my throat to say something they were too busy, and I couldn't say a word. I have a small tumor. In the pitutary gland. Daddy To Be, Expected Due Date 9/26/07
I filed for Paternity with the court, alot of good that will do unless I can get the papers served. Melody is leaving the state so serving her will be hard, it was hard enough just to get all the paperwork done & filed. Most people would be happy that the father of a unborn baby is taking an interst in the child but not her family, they are making it difficult to even have her served. Grrrrrrrrr. Well, Valentines day I get a call at 5:30 am telling me that I'm going to be a father, My reaction was "Happy Valentines Day" now there is a gift you can't top. On 3/02/07 I went to the first appointment, more of an informational visit than an exam. I had hoped for ultrasound pictures but that didn't happen on this visit. Latest estimate is 10 weeks :) So in a few short months I'm going to be Poppa bear lol.

A New Day
Well, I must apologize to my friends for being away for awhile. A lot of changes have happened to me. First, I moved from my house into an apartment not too far from the house. I wanted to keep my children in the same schools. I moved because I could no longer afford the house. I'm fine with it. It wasn't easy for a single mom of three to pay for a house, but I did it for almost three years. I like the new apartment. It has space, with exception to my closet (I really miss it!) lol. Second, I had surgery on my right hand on 2/15. I had a arthritic bone in my right thumb and I had it removed. I'm still in recovery but I'll be fine. It's going to take a minute to work out the stiffness and soreness. I return to work Monday. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. lol And third, my birthday is in 10 days. I've thought of not doing anything but i deserve to celebrate something. When I moved into my house three years ago, it was a week before my birthday.

I guess today is more or less a quiet sorrowfull day at home. I have but 2 days to get everything done before the dreaded Tuesday. I Feel Rough....
Hi... God i feel rough as f*** today. i woke up with a splitting ear ache and a banging headache, the worst thing is i haven't even been drinking. I wouldn't of given a shit it i had done something that was worth the pain but i ent i just been working...bummer. Anyway, enough self pity. lol I did a night shit last night at work. Last night was the worst. I couldn't sleep no matter what I tried. I counted to 100 then counted backward thinking I'd get so tired I'd fall asleep. Hell no I kept counting. Then I finally fall asleep like around four only to have my son wake me up.
