Well, I must apologize to my friends for being away for awhile. A lot of changes have happened to me.
First, I moved from my house into an apartment not too far from the house. I wanted to keep my children in the same schools. I moved because I could no longer afford the house. I'm fine with it. It wasn't easy for a single mom of three to pay for a house, but I did it for almost three years. I like the new apartment. It has space, with exception to my closet (I really miss it!) lol.
Second, I had surgery on my right hand on 2/15. I had a arthritic bone in my right thumb and I had it removed. I'm still in recovery but I'll be fine. It's going to take a minute to work out the stiffness and soreness. I return to work Monday. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. lol
And third, my birthday is in 10 days. I've thought of not doing anything but i deserve to celebrate something. When I moved into my house three years ago, it was a week before my birthday. This year I moved a month prior to that but I should still celebrate the move. I have a few more boxes to eliminate. Still working on it. Every year for my birthday I went to Hollywood Bar and Filmworks. Last year they closed it. I'm so upset about that because now I have to find a place to go for my birthday. Not a lot of time for planning --- just a week. So today is the day to do so.
Enough for now. Don't want to bore you. Maybe I should tell you about the men in my life..... and no, I'm not talking children, my brothers, my father, etc. I mean male friends. Naw, you don't want to hear about that...... ;-)
