Just Rambling...
Thanks to everyone who helped make my 1st Happy Hour a huge success! I had a church function to attend and couldn't actually be online, but I hope everyone had one on me! Congrats to the 256 cherries who leveled up! I've just been made painfully aware of just how fake and shallow this site is. My Fu-Wife told me, in just so many words, her page and ratings are in the toilet, because she fu-married me over others, and she's lost over half of her friends and fans since that fateful day. Ordinarily, I'd just consider her incredibly shallow and move on, but over the past few months, I've gotten to know her off-site, and shallow, she is not. Okay so, I work in Martinez on Alhambra St. Alhambra is a fairly busy street with tons of stores and always busy with cars. I got my job at Safeway in the beginning of January. Since i have goten my job and been commuting.. Im 30 days away from having my shoulder rebuilt and honestly scared as hell. I have talked to a few people who have had the surgery they say I need and have been told not to have it. Giving Up Nick...
Today is gonna be the hardest day I've had in a very long time. Because today I have to say goodbye to my best friend. Randomness
So last night held some amazingly vivid dreams. Nothing like normal, and yet following a pattern to a series. It’s strange how they always start out when it’s within the ‘series’, because I always slip into sleep. One moment awake, the next in another world. Almost as if the purest form of transcendence. This was not a normal one per say, the map that I have figured out, well it was nowhere on it that is known (only I know it’s the same place, just far away). The buildings were current with the others, same as the plant life to junction to architecture. But in a far cooler environment, one that was much more temperate. I’m always in a complete disbelief at first walking through almost empty streets, staring at how everything co-exists. Where there are buildings there is an equal amount of life, mainly plant life. OMFG !!!! ... Good movie .. incredible CGI and slow motion through out the movie. Alot of Blood guts and gore. I think I will be trying to see this one in the IMAX very soon. The only problem is that it sells out the week before. Being On The Road For So Long
I have been traveling for over three years, and spend 10 months a year away from home. I have had some funny and some aweful experiences. Since I work for the U.S. Government, I get to stay in mostly ok, but not great places. Some of them are just horrible. Some times, you have extended stay places, so you can cook, some times, they are not. Since I am usually at the same place for 2-4 months, eating out gets old. So does eating salads, and cold sandwiches. When I was in Kotzebue, Alaska. Go look that one up on the web... It's -40 outside, and I'm cooking a stew in my crockpot, on a shelf, in a room that looks like a bad hotel in El Salvador (its the only hotel in a village of 3,000). I need to get fresh air in my room.. so I open the window. I fall asleep.. I wake up hour later and its 20 degrees in my room.. I have to bang the window to get it closed.. at least it was fresh smelling in my room lol. I have more stories of these travels.. I will bore you all later..

Living Life With Tykes...
It has been years since we had the pleasure of playing with snow. So yesterday, as the flakes came down in sizes that made us gawk in awe, we ran out (dressed in whatever winter gear we could find) and had our first snowball fight in 5 years. (I had snow in places you wouldn't believe, even my undies were soaked.) In 2002 we (my son and I, my daughter was at that time 4 years old) had made our last snowman and had given it the 'wild' theme. While we were walking back to the house, since we were determined to create it in our own backyard, while bickering about the theme of the yet to be created man; my son noticed some 'yellow snow'. That instant he turned to me with a grin on his face and said "we're going to make a peeing snowman". And so we did.. though thanks to the kiddies, who refused to allow me to give the snowman his member, it became genderless. I did however, got to give the snowman a big ole smile of relief. I don't understand some men. The sperm donor for the baby I'm caring wants nothing to do with anything that has to do with the kid. On August the 10th, 2005, an innocent eight-month pregnant Iraqi woman fell victim to the ever so familiar barbaric indiscriminate shooting by the American forces in Mosul. Summers Coming!
Well its still got snow on the ground here in the greater Denver area. BUT! the grass is peaking thru the white stuff and the temps are in the 40s... CAMPING STARTS SOON! Looking forwards to Spring and Summer in the Rockies. Camping and fishing w my 3 son's, Sister, niece and nephews. Want to hear a funny thing? My 3 mos old son and 4 mos old niece already have their own tents, sleeping bags and chairs... along w lil laterns and hiking boots. Yes I do know they won't be walking yet. However its never wrong to have the right equipment for doing so. When they get older we can start camping year round again :). O'kay yes I have cabin fever. Yes I need time out in the woods again soon. And YES I can't wait to do more exploring of the world with my family.
