I drive a mercedes at the moment and it's a fine car but nothing to special anymore, i've also owned others like mustang, bmw and a porsche boxster but they're all really starting to pale in comparison to the corvette for me now.
My boyfriend has an awesome black convertible and i've really been driving that for the past few months more than anything and the reason for that is more than the power and handling and even on his 03 it rides like it's off the showroom floor.
The thing that's really put the vette way ahead to me is the feeling of real family. I mean i know that there's hundreds of mustang clubs out there as well but it's not the same at all, when i drive the corvette people stop me and tell me about the one they have at home all the time and people in vettes on the road with you always wave and say hello, I never had anyone wave as they pass in my mustang or my mercedes, I feel like im part of a big community, i thought it was weird at first, all these strangers passing me waving, then i realized it's because that's what vette owners do and i kind of feel in love from there.
So know im thinking of trading in my car for a corvette. Friends tell me im crazy but even they think it's way cool when they're with me and see and feel what i do when im in the corvette as opposed to my car.
